right_a but_o since_o they_o speak_v it_o and_o mean_v it_o of_o that_o that_o be_v disclose_v unto_o we_o in_o his_o word_n they_o speak_v false_o for_o as_o he_o that_o know_v not_o the_o will_n of_o god_n either_o manifest_v in_o the_o law_n and_o gospel_n and_o that_o also_o concern_v such_o thing_n as_o appertain_v to_o our_o salvation_n or_o his_o not_o reveal_v will_n that_o be_v his_o secret_a and_o unknown_a will_n to_o we_o in_o such_o matter_n as_o belong_v not_o to_o our_o salvation_n as_o in_o the_o wonderful_a government_n of_o his_o church_n translation_n of_o empire_n etc._n etc._n can_v not_o be_v assure_v of_o eternal_a life_n and_o this_o indeed_o be_v the_o state_n of_o all_o the_o heathen_a of_o the_o world_n outward_o and_o of_o many_o other_o beside_o so_o one_o the_o other_o side_n he_o that_o know_v believe_v &_o obey_v in_o some_o acceptable_a measure_n the_o reveal_v will_n of_o god_n for_o by_o know_v god_n we_o do_v according_a to_o god_n &_o his_o word_n understand_v belief_n and_o obedience_n can_v not_o choose_v but_o in_o those_o fruit_n of_o his_o faith_n know_v and_o be_v well_o assure_v that_o he_o be_v one_o put_v a_o part_n to_o be_v a_o plentiful_a partaker_n of_o all_o god_n grace_n concern_v this_o life_n and_o that_o which_o be_v to_o come_v and_o this_o be_v that_o christ_n mean_v when_o he_o say_v john_n 17._o this_o be_v life_n eternal_a to_o know_v thou_o to_o be_v the_o only_a true_a god_n and_o he_o who_o thou_o have_v send_v jesus_n christ_n but_o the_o faithful_a though_o they_o know_v not_o or_o be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o hide_a and_o secret_a will_n of_o god_n as_o it_o be_v meet_v indeed_o they_o be_v so_o yet_o be_v very_o well_o acquaint_v with_o his_o reveal_v and_o manifest_v whether_o it_o do_v certain_o know_v it_o for_o to_o that_o end_n be_v the_o law_n manifest_v at_o our_o first_o creation_n and_o afterward_o repeat_v again_o that_o we_o may_v know_v both_o that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n and_o also_o what_o manner_n of_o god_n he_o be_v and_o that_o he_o will_v have_v we_o to_o be_v like_a unto_o himself_o or_o else_o that_o we_o shall_v find_v he_o a_o sharp_a and_o sore_a punisher_n of_o iniquity_n and_o sin_n and_o afterward_o the_o gospel_n concern_v the_o messiah_n to_o come_v be_v publish_v that_o so_o we_o may_v both_o know_v and_o be_v assure_v of_o forgiveness_n feel_v both_o the_o one_o &_o the_o other_o namely_o faith_n without_o which_o we_o can_v not_o convert_v it_o seal_v up_o in_o our_o heart_n the_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n for_o christ_n sake_n &_o the_o holy_a ghost_n quicken_a &_o stir_v we_o up_o as_o to_o that_o so_o to_o other_o good_a work_n beside_o according_a to_o which_o s._n paul_n faith_n rom._n 5_o that_o be_v justify_v through_o faith_n we_o have_v peace_n towards_o god_n and_o rom._n 8._o the_o spirit_n that_o be_v the_o holyghost_n witness_v unto_o our_o spirit_n that_o we_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o as_o for_o the_o condition_n they_o speak_v of_o we_o tell_v they_o that_o be_v adjoin_v to_o the_o promise_n not_o as_o to_o make_v the_o promise_n more_o strong_a in_o themselves_o or_o as_o in_o respect_n of_o god_n for_o so_o they_o be_v always_o sure_a and_o certain_a but_o the_o better_a to_o seal_v up_o the_o faithful_a performance_n of_o they_o in_o our_o heart_n while_o we_o be_v enable_v by_o god_n in_o some_o measure_n to_o accomplish_v &_o perform_v the_o same_o we_o assure_v our_o own_o heart_n that_o since_o we_o can_v perfect_o fulfil_v they_o ourselves_o &_o yet_o be_v accept_v it_o rather_o notwithstanding_o our_o weakness_n and_o want_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o remainder_n of_o our_o corruption_n adjoin_v thereto_o as_o for_o the_o explanation_n or_o exposition_n such_o thing_n in_o his_o word_n and_o to_o fetch_v it_o from_o his_o own_o head_n or_o heart_n will_v not_o be_v fit_a for_o that_o be_v deep_a and_o deceitful_a above_o all_o thing_n it_o will_v follow_v that_o no_o man_n shall_v hope_v for_o salvation_n but_o rather_o despair_v of_o it_o which_o beside_o that_o it_o be_v absurd_a be_v both_o ungodly_a and_o uncomfortable_a also_o but_o if_o they_o will_v yet_o further_o object_n and_o say_v that_o no_o man_n know_v whether_o he_o do_v true_o repent_v and_o believe_v or_o else_o whether_o he_o ascribe_v unto_o himself_o the_o thing_n he_o have_v not_o we_o answer_v that_o it_o be_v a_o untrue_a assertion_n to_o say_v that_o no_o man_n can_v tell_v whether_o he_o do_v true_o repent_v believe_v etc._n etc._n for_o though_o the_o scripture_n have_v not_o teach_v we_o to_o know_v whether_o our_o faith_n be_v sufficient_a or_o our_o repentance_n weighty_a enough_o yet_o have_v it_o give_v we_o certain_a infallible_a note_n by_o which_o we_o may_v discern_v and_o judge_v of_o the_o sincerity_n and_o truth_n both_o of_o our_o faith_n and_o repentance_n for_o as_o all_o the_o fruit_n of_o our_o faith_n general_o be_v sure_a seal_n and_o pledge_n of_o the_o truth_n that_o be_v in_o we_o and_o more_o particular_o our_o holy_a prayer_n to_o god_n according_a to_o that_o which_o be_v say_v rom._n 10._o how_o shall_v they_o call_v upon_o he_o in_o who_o they_o believe_v not_o so_o in_o the_o fruit_n and_o effect_n follow_v our_o repentance_n seal_v up_o also_o the_o sincerity_n and_o soundness_n thereof_o in_o our_o
