the_o other_o side_n there_o be_v no_o sufficiency_n at_o all_o it_o be_v the_o point_n i_o begin_v to_o touch_v upon_o the_o last_o day_n i_o will_v now_o open_v it_o unto_o you_o more_o full_o that_o in_o the_o creature_n there_o be_v no_o sufficiency_n at_o all_o and_o in_o the_o lord_n there_o be_v all-sufficiency_n we_o will_v not_o disjoin_v they_o but_o handle_v both_o together_o for_o last_o day_n all_o the_o good_a and_o hurt_n that_o the_o creature_n can_v be_v suppose_v to_o do_v it_o stand_v in_o one_o of_o these_o two_o thing_n either_o in_o make_v we_o happy_a or_o miserable_a or_o else_o second_o in_o afford_v we_o subsidiarie_n help_n such_o as_o we_o have_v need_n of_o upon_o occasion_n in_o neither_o of_o they_o the_o creature_n of_o itself_o because_o be_v able_a to_o do_v any_o thing_n you_o must_v remember_v that_o which_o we_o then_o deliver_v that_o the_o creature_n be_v not_o able_a to_o do_v any_o thing_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o our_o happiness_n first_o because_o it_o be_v inferior_a to_o we_o us._n and_o that_o which_o be_v inferior_a can_v add_v to_o that_o which_o be_v above_o it_o second_o because_o the_o creature_n be_v accurse_v there_o be_v a_o curse_n lie_v upon_o the_o creature_n accurse_v there_o be_v a_o emptiness_n and_o a_o vanity_n in_o it_o and_o that_o which_o be_v empty_a in_o itself_o can_v give_v no_o fullness_n to_o us._n three_o the_o creature_n be_v under_o the_o sun_n and_o therefore_o you_o have_v that_o phrase_n so_o often_o repeat_v in_o ecclesiastes_n sun_n all_o thing_n under_o the_o sun_n be_v vanity_n because_o the_o soul_n be_v make_v for_o he_o the_o soul_n be_v fit_v for_o he_o and_o therefore_o there_o be_v nothing_o else_o answerable_a there_o be_v that_o constitution_n of_o the_o mind_n that_o it_o will_v not_o be_v fill_v with_o any_o thing_n beside_o the_o lord_n may_v have_v put_v the_o mind_n into_o such_o a_o frame_n he_o may_v have_v so_o constitute_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n that_o the_o creature_n may_v have_v fill_v it_o and_o satisfy_v it_o and_o have_v be_v a_o adequate_a object_n to_o it_o but_o he_o have_v not_o do_v so_o for_o he_o make_v it_o for_o himself_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o fill_v but_o with_o himself_o so_o much_o for_o that_o that_o the_o creature_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o happiness_n be_v able_a to_o do_v nothing_o but_o you_o will_v say_v to_o i_o quest._n this_o be_v a_o thing_n of_o which_o we_o make_v no_o doubt_n but_o what_o do_v you_o say_v for_o ordinary_a use_n and_o for_o the_o vicissitude_n of_o this_o life_n be_v not_o the_o creature_n in_o these_o able_a to_o do_v good_a and_o hurt_n belove_a ans._n as_o i_o say_v to_o you_o the_o last_o day_n the_o creature_n be_v not_o able_a consider_v without_o the_o influence_n of_o the_o first_o mover_n hurt_v to_o do_v you_o the_o least_o good_a or_o hurt_v as_o the_o word_n be_v jer._n 10._o 5._o 5._o speak_v of_o idol_n they_o can_v do_v neither_o good_a nor_o hurt_n and_o therefore_o fear_v they_o not_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v if_o they_o can_v do_v you_o either_o good_a or_o hurt_v you_o may_v fear_v they_o and_o it_o be_v certain_a if_o any_o creature_n be_v able_a in_o manner_n aforesaid_a to_o do_v you_o any_o good_a or_o hurt_v you_o may_v fear_v the_o creature_n for_o god_n alter_v no_o law_n of_o nature_n that_o which_o be_v in_o itself_o to_o be_v he_o as_o he_o be_v but_o he_o take_v away_o that_o heart_n of_o he_o and_o imprint_n the_o habit_n of_o grace_n in_o it_o and_o he_o change_v a_o man_n heart_n so_o that_o he_o be_v carry_v willing_o to_o the_o way_n of_o god_n as_o the_o creature_n be_v carry_v by_o a_o natural_a instinct_n to_o its_o own_o place_n or_o to_o the_o thing_n it_o desire_v so_o that_o thou_o may_v think_v thus_o with_o thyself_o it_o be_v true_a if_o i_o have_v my_o old_a heart_n my_o old_a lust_n still_o there_o must_v needs_o be_v such_o a_o reluctancy_n as_o i_o shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o overcome_v but_o if_o the_o lord_n change_v this_o heart_n of_o i_o and_o take_v away_o these_o lust_n if_o the_o lord_n put_v another_o impression_n uâ—on_n on_o i_o that_o be_v natural_a to_o i_o which_o be_v like_o that_o instinct_n he_o put_v into_o the_o creature_n than_o it_o be_v easy_a for_o i_o to_o do_v it_o and_o this_o the_o lord_n out_o of_o his_o all-sufficiency_n be_v able_a to_o do_v but_o you_o will_v be_v ready_a to_o object_n ob._n if_o the_o lord_n be_v thus_o all-sufficient_a us._n if_o he_o be_v able_a thus_o to_o kindle_v light_n in_o the_o dark_a heart_n to_o change_v a_o man_n crooked_a and_o perverse_a spirit_n to_o implant_v and_o engraft_v such_o natural_a habit_n and_o instinct_n into_o it_o to_o carry_v it_o on_o with_o such_o facility_n and_o connaturalnesse_n to_o lord_n will_v withdraw_v himself_o and_o so_o it_o be_v in_o this_o case_n the_o lord_n have_v appoint_v we_o to_o keep_v his_o ordinance_n and_o so_o long_o he_o will_v be_v with_o we_o as_o he_o be_v with_o samson_n to_o be_v all
never_o be_v without_o he_o obliterate_v all_o old_a writing_n he_o have_v say_v he_o will_v give_v the_o holy_a ghost_n he_o have_v promise_v to_o give_v thou_o a_o new_a heart_n and_o a_o new_a spirit_n now_o consider_v this_o it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o his_o covenant_n go_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o beseech_v he_o to_o make_v good_a his_o covenant_n this_o be_v the_o way_n for_o thou_o to_o overcome_v it_o if_o thou_o go_v about_o it_o any_o other_o way_n thou_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o out-wrestle_a it_o belove_a for_o a_o man_n to_o think_v thus_o with_o himself_o to_o say_v able_a to_o out-wrestle_a lust_n and_o to_o overcome_v temptation_n the_o reason_n be_v because_o no_o flesh_n shall_v rejoice_v in_o itself_o and_o therefore_o christ_n be_v make_v sanctification_n that_o be_v you_o derive_v it_o from_o he_o from_o day_n to_o day_n from_o time_n to_o time_n that_o you_o may_v not_o rejoice_v in_o yourselves_o but_o in_o he_o therefore_o let_v no_o man_n go_v disease_n any_o affliction_n of_o mind_n or_o of_o body_n or_o estate_n or_o of_o name_n why_o go_v to_o god_n now_o and_o tell_v he_o it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o his_o covenant_n to_o deliver_v thou_o and_o labour_n to_o find_v out_o if_o thou_o can_v beside_o the_o general_a covenant_n some_o particular_a the_o lord_n have_v say_v if_o thou_o be_v in_o trouble_n call_v upon_o i_o and_o i_o will_v with_o he_o after_o that_o manner_n deal_v thou_o with_o the_o promise_n for_o they_o be_v rich_a there_o be_v a_o price_n in_o they_o be_v thou_o as_o a_o extortioner_n to_o they_o take_v out_o conveniency_n his_o practice_n and_o employment_n so_o that_o if_o god_n and_o these_o shall_v come_v in_o competition_n he_o will_v be_v ready_a to_o violate_v his_o conscience_n towards_o he_o rather_o than_o to_o part_v with_o these_o and_o so_o his_o grief_n that_o be_v not_o principal_o for_o sin_n there_o be_v somewhat_o or_o other_o that_o you_o shall_v find_v he_o fail_v in_o there_o we_o by_o this_o knowledge_n we_o be_v transform_v and_o change_v into_o the_o same_o image_n from_o glory_n to_o glory_n that_o be_v from_o one_o glorious_a degree_n of_o that_o image_n to_o another_o not_o that_o the_o very_a knowledge_n shall_v do_v it_o but_o it_o please_v the_o lord_n to_o accompany_v that_o knowledge_n by_o the_o spirit_n this_o be_v do_v say_v he_o as_o by_o the_o
