be_v in_o all_o and_o every_o part_n of_o the_o world_n so_o that_o god_n be_v every_o where_o present_a which_o be_v beyond_o the_o reach_n of_o our_o apprehension_n yet_o it_o be_v undoubted_o true_a for_o god_n omnipresence_n be_v that_o attribute_n which_o belong_v to_o he_o he_o be_v present_a everywhere_o and_o in_o all_o thing_n now_o for_o the_o rational_a demonstration_n whereby_o it_o may_v be_v evince_v that_o god_n be_v omnipresent_v that_o god_n be_v present_a everywhere_o in_o this_o world_n that_o i_o shall_v make_v good_a by_o these_o argument_n argument_n 1_o first_o from_o his_o unchangeableness_n thus_o if_o there_o be_v any_o place_n where_o god_n be_v not_o than_o god_n may_v be_v there_o because_o he_o be_v omnipotent_a but_o if_o god_n may_v be_v there_o because_o also_o what_o ever_o virtue_n or_o power_n be_v in_o god_n it_o be_v his_o essence_n therefore_o if_o he_o create_v or_o preserve_v by_o his_o power_n he_o create_v and_o preserve_v immediate_o by_o his_o essence_n and_o so_o his_o essence_n must_v be_v whatsoever_o his_o operation_n be_v but_o god_n exist_v not_o only_o in_o the_o world_n but_o infinite_o beyond_o the_o world_n also_o that_o may_v be_v demonstrate_v thus_o 1._o first_o from_o the_o infiniteness_n of_o his_o nature_n and_o essence_n 2._o second_o from_o the_o infiniteness_n of_o his_o perfection_n arg._n 1._o first_o from_o the_o infiniteness_n of_o god_n nature_n or_o essence_n that_o nature_n which_o be_v infinite_a can_v be_v bound_v or_o limit_v but_o god_n nature_n be_v infinite_a therefore_o it_o can_v be_v bound_v but_o if_o god_n be_v only_o present_a in_o the_o world_n and_o do_v not_o exist_v infinite_o beyond_o it_o than_o his_o be_v and_o nature_n can_v not_o be_v infinite_a as_o a_o spirit_n be_v infinite_a therefore_o if_o god_n shall_v be_v include_v in_o the_o world_n he_o will_v also_o be_v but_o infinite_a as_o the_o world_n arg._n 2._o second_o from_o the_o infiniteness_n of_o his_o perfection_n we_o may_v argue_v thus_o that_o which_o be_v infinite_o perfect_a must_v be_v infinite_o great_a but_o god_n be_v infinite_o perfect_a so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o perfection_n which_o we_o can_v imagine_v but_o be_v eminent_o in_o god_n therefore_o he_o must_v be_v infinite_o great_a so_o as_o there_o can_v be_v no_o space_n which_o we_o can_v imagine_v but_o he_o must_v be_v present_a in_o it_o but_o we_o can_v imagine_v a_o infinite_a space_n beyond_o this_o world_n therefore_o god_n be_v there_o because_o there_o be_v no_o perfection_n imaginable_a of_o that_o same_o kind_n as_o a_o great_a piece_n of_o gold_n be_v more_o excellent_a than_o a_o less_o and_o therefore_o from_o this_o perfection_n of_o god_n it_o appear_v that_o he_o be_v everywhere_o he_o be_v all_o perfection_n arg._n 2._o as_o it_o be_v demonstrate_v from_o god_n infiniteness_n and_o perfection_n so_o likewise_o from_o his_o almighty_a power_n god_n can_v create_v another_o world_n great_a than_o this_o even_o in_o that_o imaginary_a space_n which_o we_o can_v conceive_v beyond_o this_o world_n therefore_o certain_o god_n be_v now_o existent_a there_o arg._n 3._o god_n omnipresence_n may_v be_v argue_v from_o the_o eternity_n of_o god_n god_n be_v infinite_o existent_a before_o the_o creation_n of_o the_o world_n since_o he_o be_v eternal_a and_o the_o world_n but_o temporal_a the_o world_n have_v stand_v only_o but_o some_o few_o thousand_o of_o year_n and_o before_o the_o creation_n of_o the_o world_n there_o be_v nothing_o but_o god_n and_o god_n move_v from_o place_n to_o place_n as_o in_o gen._n 18.21_o where_o the_o lord_n say_v concern_v sodom_n and_o gomorrah_n i_o will_v go_v down_o now_o and_o see_v whether_o they_o have_v do_v altogether_o according_a to_o the_o cry_n of_o it_o which_o be_v come_v unto_o i_o and_o in_o hab._n 3.3_o it_o be_v there_o say_v god_n come_v from_o teman_fw-mi and_o the_o holy_a one_o from_o mount_n paran_n etc._n etc._n object_n 1_o now_o these_o place_n which_o speak_v of_o go_v to_o and_o depart_v from_o place_n seem_v to_o oppose_v god_n ubiquity_n because_o motion_n be_v inconsistent_a with_o god_n omnipresence_n answ_n i_o answer_v these_o and_o the_o like_a scripture_n be_v not_o to_o be_v take_v proper_o and_o literal_o but_o as_o accommodate_v to_o our_o capacity_n and_o conception_n even_o as_o parent_n when_o they_o speak_v to_o their_o little_a child_n will_v sometime_o lisp_v and_o babble_n in_o their_o language_n so_o god_n oftentimes_o condescend_v to_o we_o in_o speak_v our_o language_n for_o the_o declare_v of_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v far_o above_o our_o reach_n but_o you_o will_v say_v how_o be_v such_o place_n to_o to_o be_v understand_v i_o answer_v when_o god_n be_v say_v to_o come_v unto_o or_o to_o depart_v from_o any_o place_n or_o person_n nothing_o else_o must_v be_v understand_v thereby_o but_o a_o declare_v or_o not_o declare_v himself_o to_o be_v present_a as_o man_n when_o they_o manifest_v themselves_o present_a they_o do_v it_o by_o move_v hither_o or_o thither_o so_o god_n to_o accommodate_v himself_o thereunto_o when_o he_o manifest_v his_o presence_n any_o where_o he_o tell_v we_o that_o he_o go_v thither_o and_o when_o that_o manifestation_n cease_v he_o tell_v we_o he_o depart_v thence_o though_o he_o be_v always_o there_o present_a both_o before_o and_o after_o that_o manifestation_n so_o that_o these_o expression_n use_v in_o the_o scripture_n concern_v god_n though_o speak_v after_o the_o manner_n of_o man_n yet_o they_o must_v be_v understand_v after_o the_o manner_n of_o god_n that_o be_v with_o a_o suitableness_n and_o conformity_n to_o his_o infinite_a essence_n object_n 2_o the_o scripture_n tell_v we_o that_o hereafter_o in_o heaven_n we_o shall_v see_v god_n as_o he_o be_v but_o be_v not_o that_o impossible_a if_o god_n be_v a_o omnipresent_v god_n we_o shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o comprehend_v he_o because_o we_o shall_v not_o ourselves_o be_v infinite_a in_o heaven_n and_o if_o man_n be_v style_v finite_a how_o then_o can_v he_o comprehend_v what_o be_v infinite_a since_o infinite_a be_v comprehend_v of_o nothing_o but_o that_o which_o be_v infinite_a answ_n i_o answer_v such_o scripture_n be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v
