spirit_n of_o truth_n the_o spirit_n of_o the_o father_n and_o son_n in_o his_o believe_a member_n whereby_o they_o cry_v in_o a_o spotless_a mind_n abba_n father_n and_o free_o and_o powerful_o declare_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o kingdom_n to_o the_o child_n of_o man_n and_o instead_o thereof_o will_v bring_v in_o and_o establish_v that_o soul-deceiving_a and_o church-dividing_a doctrine_n of_o humane_a learning_n and_o humane_a help_n as_o absolute_o necessary_a to_o the_o procure_n and_o engage_v as_o it_o be_v the_o holy_a unlimited_a god_n to_o give_v unto_o the_o creature_n his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o mystery_n of_o his_o eternal_a will_n and_o kingdom_n for_o the_o same_o as_o in_o answer_n to_o a_o objection_n in_o the_o 6_o page_n of_o his_o book_n in_o his_o first_o direction_n so_o call_v be_v to_o be_v see_v the_o objection_n against_o his_o carnal_a reason_n for_o old_a man_n knowledge_n be_v in_o page_n 5._o where_o he_o say_v i_o know_v those_o that_o i_o have_v to_o do_v with_o will_v say_v that_o divinity_n be_v not_o learn_v by_o labour_n and_o man_n teach_n as_o other_o science_n and_o art_n be_v but_o by_o teach_v i_o add_v yea_o and_o most_o free_a gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o the_o young_a may_v have_v as_o much_o of_o it_o as_o the_o elder_a and_o to_o this_o r._n b._n there_o thus_o answer_n answ_n there_o be_v some_o truth_n say_v he_o and_o some_o falsehood_n and_o much_o confusion_n in_o this_o objection_n but_o let_v we_o hear_v how_o this_o r._n b._n prove_v that_o that_o there_o be_v either_o falsehood_n or_o confusion_n in_o the_o objection_n it_o be_v true_a say_v he_o that_o the_o save_v knowledge_n of_o divinity_n must_v be_v teach_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n the_o darkness_n yea_o rather_o enmity_n that_o be_v in_o r._n b_n heart_n against_o the_o free_a teach_v of_o god_n spirit_n that_o he_o will_v find_v any_o thing_n against_o so_o plain_a and_o manifest_a truth_n as_o be_v in_o this_o objection_n but_o what_o will_v not_o flesh_n do_v that_o be_v lift_v up_o with_o conceit_n of_o his_o own_o wisdom_n to_o keep_v up_o its_o honour_n before_o the_o people_n rather_o than_o the_o purâ—_n undoubted_a truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o self-abasing_a spirit_n of_o truth_n shall_v reign_v and_o have_v the_o pre-eminence_n but_o to_o this_o i_o say_v that_o a_o child_n of_o light_n in_o the_o least_o measure_n do_v easy_o see_v the_o falsehood_n of_o that_o spirit_n by_o which_o this_o r._n b._n be_v act_v in_o this_o his_o answer_n for_o
