choose_v unto_o he_o twelve_o disciple_n which_o believe_v in_o he_o man_n who_o be_v not_o bring_v up_o at_o university_n neither_o have_v study_v philosophy_n nor_o natural_a tongue_n but_o some_o fisherman_n and_o such_o as_o be_v illiterate_a to_o be_v minister_n of_o the_o glad-tiding_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o peace_n to_o the_o nation_n and_o their_o ability_n stand_v in_o the_o spirit_n where_o the_o ability_n of_o all_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n now_o stand_v viz._n not_o in_o the_o letter_n not_o in_o philosophy_n not_o in_o natural_a language_n not_o in_o grammar_n and_o music_n but_o in_o the_o spirit_n which_o qualify_v they_o and_o from_o whence_o they_o receive_v ability_n to_o declare_v the_o word_n of_o righteousness_n and_o by_o it_o they_o have_v skill_n to_o divide_v it_o aright_o and_o to_o give_v every_o one_o their_o portion_n and_o minister_v to_o every_o one_o suitable_a to_o their_o state_n in_o which_o they_o be_v and_o they_o be_v skill_v in_o the_o word_n of_o righteousness_n and_o many_o do_v believe_v through_o their_o testimony_n though_o they_o have_v not_o the_o wisdom_n that_o be_v from_o below_o nor_o much_o read_v in_o natural_a language_n and_o some_o not_o learned_a at_o all_o yet_o they_o want_v not_o wisdom_n and_o utterance_n and_o word_n meet_v and_o suitable_a to_o declare_v and_o demonstrate_v the_o heavenly_a mind_n of_o christ_n although_o it_o be_v true_a many_o of_o the_o jew_n &_o learned_a rabbi_n oppose_v they_o and_o set_v they_o at_o nought_o the_o philosopher_n stoic_n and_o epicure_n resist_v yet_o they_o desire_v not_o to_o be_v approve_v in_o that_o wisdom_n which_o man_n teach_v but_o in_o the_o wisdom_n which_o be_v from_o above_o which_o the_o natural_a man_n with_o all_o his_o natural_a part_n do_v not_o understand_v and_o natural_a man_n with_o their_o natural_a part_n despise_v the_o simplicity_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o they_o seek_v qualification_n which_o the_o lord_n never_o seek_v and_o such_o will_v not_o heed_v the_o qualification_n which_o be_v lay_v down_o by_o they_o that_o be_v minister_n of_o christ_n for_o they_o that_o have_v receive_v the_o spirit_n and_o be_v make_v minister_n by_o it_o be_v qualify_v by_o it_o and_o their_o holy_a conversation_n preach_v unto_o other_o they_o be_v vigilant_a they_o be_v watchful_a they_o be_v sobe_a they_o be_v in_o temptation_n and_o trial_n but_o their_o life_n be_v of_o good_a report_n no_o covetous_a person_n seeker_n for_o their_o gain_n from_o their_o quarter_n no_o lord_n over_o man_n faith_n no_o master_n over_o man_n conscience_n but_o be_v servant_n unto_o all_o for_o christ_n sake_n not_o like_o the_o minister_n in_o these_o day_n who_o will_v assume_v the_o office_n but_o have_v not_o receive_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n neither_o be_v so_o qualify_v or_o fit_v as_o they_o be_v who_o have_v no_o university_n nor_o school_n of_o learning_n and_o these_o be_v they_o that_o cry_v up_o natural_a tongue_n and_o language_n as_o the_o chief_a ability_n of_o a_o minister_n of_o christ_n aâ—d_v that_o none_o be_v fit_a to_o dispense_v the_o word_n of_o god_n but_o such_o who_o be_v 〈◊〉_d up_o and_o educate_v in_o these_o thing_n and_o such_o in_o former_a day_n despise_v the_o â—ross_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o simplicity_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o set_v up_o tongue_n above_o it_o and_o so_o do_v they_o now_o but_o let_v we_o consider_v whether_o soon_o after_o the_o primitive_a time_n they_o have_v any_o such_o university_n or_o seven_o year_n prenticeship_n as_o they_o have_v now_o or_o whether_o it_o be_v their_o practice_n to_o be_v study_v these_o thing_n which_o be_v but_o natural_a and_o whether_o they_o do_v
the_o priest_n and_o levite_n be_v appoint_v by_o the_o express_a commandment_n of_o god_n as_o to_o be_v minister_n unto_o he_o and_o to_o minister_v unto_o the_o people_n according_a unto_o the_o covenant_n that_o he_o make_v in_o those_o day_n and_o the_o priest_n and_o the_o levite_n be_v endow_v with_o the_o spirit_n from_o god_n suitable_a to_o the_o ministry_n &_o charge_n commit_v to_o they_o and_o they_o be_v figure_n of_o christ_n the_o everlasting_a high_a priest_n and_o the_o law_n and_o judgement_n which_o be_v give_v by_o the_o lord_n to_o moses_n be_v deliver_v to_o the_o in_o this_o revolt_a state_n yea_o or_o nay_o although_o i_o do_v not_o question_v but_o they_o retain_v still_o their_o place_n by_o way_n of_o office_n and_o will_v claim_v the_o same_o power_n they_o and_o of_o his_o word_n in_o their_o mouth_n and_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o depart_v from_o the_o seed_n or_o the_o seed_n seed_n forever_o this_o be_v grant_v and_o the_o promise_n be_v not_o to_o man_n as_o man_n but_o to_o the_o seed_n which_o be_v not_o many_o but_o one_o but_o israel_n be_v this_o true_a church_n then_o in_o the_o time_n of_o this_o prophecy_n though_o it_o have_v this_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n be_v not_o violate_v neither_o unfulfil_v on_o god_n part_n for_o the_o promise_n be_v not_o then_o neither_o now_o be_v to_o natural_a generation_n or_o that_o which_o be_v bear_v after_o the_o flesh_n or_o to_o man_n as_o man_n and_o creature_n but_o as_o they_o be_v the_o seed_n and_o as_o they_o be_v man_n of_o god_n and_o as_o they_o be_v bear_v again_o and_o new_a creature_n and_o if_o thou_o will_v have_v a_o intail_v here_o it_o be_v entail_v which_o can_v be_v cut_v off_o for_o the_o covenant_n stand_v not_o to_o man_n in_o such_o a_o place_n that_o carry_v the_o name_n of_o office_n or_o authority_n but_o as_o they_o be_v lead_v by_o the_o spirit_n the_o infallible_a judge_n rule_n or_o guide_n as_o they_o walk_v by_o this_o and_o in_o this_o they_o can_v err_v and_o they_o err_v from_o this_o they_o be_v subject_a to_o be_v deceive_v and_o to_o be_v mistake_v in_o all_o thing_n and_o every_o thing_n of_o which_o there_o be_v evident_a example_n in_o the_o scripture_n of_o truth_n in_o divers_a age_n of_o they_o that_o profess_v themselves_o member_n of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o so_o visible_a as_o r._n e._n speak_v of_o yea_o and_o the_o great_a part_n too_o that_o have_v err_v and_o their_o path_n have_v be_v reckon_v by_o the_o lord_n as_o crooked_a and_o perverse_a and_o their_o habitation_n full_a of_o cruelty_n and_o this_o be_v give_v for_o a_o instance_n the_o visible_a church_n of_o the_o jew_n do_v err_v and_o go_v aside_o notwithstanding_o all_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n to_o they_o and_o as_o they_o look_v that_o it_o still_o belong_v to_o they_o because_o they_o be_v in_o visible_a profession_n though_o they_o have_v turn_v their_o back_n upon_o the_o lord_n and_o their_o heart_n too_o and_o violate_v his_o covenant_n yet_o still_o as_o i_o say_v the_o promise_n of_o god_n and_o the_o covenant_n of_o god_n be_v not_o make_v of_o none_o effect_v nor_o break_v on_o god_n part_n but_o stand_v with_o the_o seed_n forever_o who_o be_v circumcise_v in_o heart_n and_o who_o worship_n god_n in_o spirit_n and_o truth_n and_o in_o uprightness_n of_o heart_n and_o have_v no_o confidence_n in_o the_o flesh_n nor_o fleshly_a privilege_n nor_o external_a performance_n but_o only_o trust_v unto_o the_o gift_n of_o righteousness_n manifest_a in_o they_o by_o which_o justification_n come_v upon_o all_o that_o believe_v and_o the_o fullness_n of_o the_o blessing_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o fullness_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n but_o these_o the_o grave_a and_o therefore_o they_o perfect_v they_o in_o the_o grave_n and_o so_o be_v minister_n in_o another_o world_n and_o this_o church_n thus_o gather_v and_o endue_v beforementioned_a with_o the_o infallible_a spirit_n of_o god_n if_o any_o that_o do_v sometime_o believe_v and_o be_v join_v unto_o it_o do_v walk_v disorderly_a as_o not_o become_v the_o gospel_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n they_o be_v to_o be_v admonish_v and_o exhort_v and_o if_o they_o persist_v in_o their_o disorder_n it_o be_v to_o be_v tell_v to_o the_o church_n or_o the_o whole_a body_n and_o if_o can_v though_o obstinate_a and_o heretic_n too_o and_o in_o this_o among_o many_o other_o thing_n the_o spirit_n of_o your_o church_n be_v see_v to_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o primitive_a church_n and_o you_o out_o of_o christ_n doctrine_n but_o r._n e._n argue_v further_o and_o say_v but_o if_o christ_n by_o his_o spirit_n do_v not_o preserve_v this_o church_n from_o all_o possibility_n of_o teach_v error_n instead_o of_o truth_n i_o may_v receive_v such_o error_n as_o may_v damn_v i_o unto_o which_o i_o say_v christ_n by_o his_o spirit_n do_v preserve_v this_o church_n from_o all_o possibility_n of_o teach_v error_n if_o they_o continue_v in_o the_o guidance_n thereof_o and_o err_v not_o from_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n as_o some_o church_n do_v which_o be_v as_o true_o christian_n and_o may_v lay_v claim_n unto_o christ_n promise_n of_o preservation_n out_o of_o error_n as_o ever_o rome_n can_v do_v and_o yet_o six_o of_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n be_v reprove_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n some_o of_o they_o for_o hold_v gross_a error_n and_o some_o for_o suffer_v it_o but_o where_o be_v the_o fault_n do_v not_o christ_n perform_v his_o promise_n to_o his_o church_n or_o to_o these_o and_o other_o particular_a church_n as_o corinth_n and_o galatia_n yes_o but_o there_o be_v a_o err_a from_o the_o spirit_n but_o all_o that_o r._n e._n
