the_o further_a it_o run_v the_o great_a it_o grow_v humiliation_n i_o will_v give_v you_o also_o some_o property_n of_o that_o humiliation_n to_o which_o the_o promise_n be_v make_v here_o by_o which_o it_o may_v be_v yet_o further_o know_v and_o difference_v we_o will_v take_v those_o fruit_n of_o it_o we_o find_v in_o the_o prayer_n text_n 1_o it_o will_v make_v a_o man_n pray_v and_o 2._o seek_v god_n face_n and_o turn_v from_o his_o evil_a way_n it_o have_v always_o these_o as_o the_o consequence_n of_o it_o to_o pray_v judas_n be_v humble_v but_o he_o have_v no_o 1_o mind_n to_o the_o strict_a way_n of_o religion_n there_o be_v a_o common_a course_n of_o religion_n that_o you_o need_v not_o be_v ashamed_a of_o because_o all_o be_v for_o it_o and_o commend_v it_o but_o yet_o there_o be_v some_o special_a act_n of_o religion_n that_o man_n cast_v shame_n upon_o such_o be_v that_o act_n of_o david_n when_o he_o dance_v before_o the_o ark_n which_o seem_v absurd_a in_o michal_n eye_n for_o a_o king_n to_o do_v yet_o he_o say_v i_o will_v be_v yes_o more_o vile_a some_o of_o the_o way_n of_o god_n give_v a_o more_o peculiar_a distaste_n to_o wicked_a man_n and_o there_o be_v a_o shame_n cast_v upon_o the_o power_n of_o religion_n by_o reason_n that_o the_o multitude_n go_v another_o way_n now_o what_o be_v singular_a that_o shame_n be_v cast_v upon_o as_o in_o any_o simile_n thing_n let_v the_o multitude_n have_v never_o so_o ill_o favour_v a_o fashion_n it_o be_v no_o shame_n whereas_o if_o a_o few_o other_o wear_v a_o garment_n far_o more_o
the_o fruit_n of_o sanctification_n which_o be_v mean_v here_o and_o unto_o which_o the_o promise_n be_v make_v these_o go_v both_o together_o in_o the_o godly_a and_o he_o that_o have_v the_o second_o never_o want_v the_o first_o in_o some_o measure_n more_o or_o less_o though_o many_o have_v the_o first_o that_o have_v not_o the_o second_o now_o the_o first_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o sense_n of_o sin_n and_o god_n wrath_n for_o it_o express_v to_o we_o in_o those_o former_a example_n by_o be_v prick_v in_o the_o heart_n it_o be_v a_o wound_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o spirit_n these_o humiliation_n particular_n a_o sensibleness_n of_o sin_n before_o a_o man_n be_v as_o one_o sin_n that_o be_v in_o a_o dead_a sleep_n what_o be_v do_v to_o he_o he_o feel_v not_o nor_o what_o and_o unto_o this_o be_v further_a require_v the_o help_n of_o the_o spirit_n join_v therewith_o without_o which_o the_o law_n humiliation_n do_v not_o humble_a a_o man_n who_o be_v therefore_o call_v and_o make_v he_o believe_v the_o threaten_n denounce_v against_o they_o than_o a_o man_n be_v humble_v and_o not_o before_o and_o yet_o though_o these_o threaten_n be_v propound_v by_o the_o word_n and_o make_v effectual_a by_o the_o spirit_n yet_o usual_o some_o affliction_n put_v life_n into_o they_o as_o we_o see_v in_o manasses_n and_o also_o in_o s._n paul_n who_o be_v first_o strike_v off_o his_o horse_n to_o the_o ground_n and_o in_o the_o jailer_n who_o think_v very_o all_o his_o prisoner_n go_v for_o who_o his_o own_o life_n must_v have_v be_v answerable_a so_o as_o he_o will_v
