content_a it_o may_v be_v to_o have_v the_o lord_n for_o my_o portion_n but_o beside_o that_o i_o have_v a_o body_n i_o have_v a_o temporal_a life_n and_o therefore_o i_o need_v temporal_a comfort_n and_o therefore_o though_o i_o will_v have_v the_o lord_n i_o will_v have_v these_o thing_n add_v for_o how_o shall_v i_o be_v without_o they_o to_o this_o i_o answer_v ans._n first_o that_o though_o thou_o be_v deprive_v of_o all_o these_o temporal_a blessing_n and_o comfort_n yet_o thou_o shall_v find_v they_o all_o in_o the_o lord_n i_o say_v though_o â—hey_n be_v all_o lose_v and_o all_o scatter_a though_o thou_o be_v strip_v of_o they_o all_o yet_o thou_o shall_v find_v they_o all_o in_o the_o lord_n if_o thou_o have_v he_o alone_o you_o will_v say_v answ._n how_o can_v that_o be_v this_o you_o must_v know_v that_o all_o that_o god_n have_v wrought_v in_o the_o creature_n all_o the_o excellency_n all_o the_o beauty_n and_o delight_n and_o comfort_n he_o have_v put_v into_o the_o like_a as_o when_o fire_n beget_v fire_n or_o when_o a_o man_n beget_v a_o man_n here_o there_o be_v a_o equality_n between_o the_o cause_n and_o the_o effect_n but_o there_o be_v other_o cause_n sanctification_n and_o of_o mortification_n of_o sinful_a lust_n the_o best_a way_n to_o get_v a_o great_a measure_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o grow_v up_o to_o great_a holiness_n of_o conversation_n be_v to_o labour_v to_o grow_v in_o faith_n in_o the_o belief_n of_o those_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n for_o there_o be_v no_o other_o reason_n in_o the_o world_n why_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n there_o be_v a_o infusion_n of_o the_o spirit_n that_o give_v life_n but_o because_o now_o there_o be_v more_o evident_a promise_n of_o pardon_n and_o forgiveness_n and_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n which_o by_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n can_v not_o be_v and_o so_o much_o shall_v serve_v for_o this_o the_o four_o 4._o and_o main_a use_n that_o we_o be_v to_o make_v of_o this_o from_o this_o description_n of_o the_o covenant_n be_v to_o learn_v to_o know_v the_o ground_n upon_o which_o we_o expect_v salvation_n and_o the_o fulfil_n of_o all_o the_o promise_n the_o ground_n of_o all_o be_v this_o covenant_n my_o belove_a it_o be_v the_o great_a point_n that_o ever_o we_o have_v yet_o opportunity_n to_o deliver_v to_o you_o yea_o it_o be_v the_o main_a point_n that_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n can_v deliver_v at_o any_o time_n neither_o can_v they_o deliver_v a_o point_n of_o great_a moment_n nor_o can_v you_o hear_v any_o than_o
