despise_v the_o son_n of_o god_n who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o it_o and_o consequent_o the_o love_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o send_v he_o so_o the_o lord_n christ_n tell_v they_o that_o preach_v the_o gospel_n he_o that_o despise_v you_o despise_v i_o and_o he_o that_o despise_v i_o despise_v he_o that_o send_v i_o neglect_v of_o the_o gospel_n reflect_v immediate_o upon_o the_o lord_n christ_n and_o the_o father_n and_o therefore_o our_o apostle_n bid_v we_o take_v heed_n that_o we_o despise_v not_o he_o who_o speak_v from_o heaven_n which_o can_v be_v no_o otherwise_o do_v but_o by_o neglect_n of_o his_o word_n some_o pretend_v to_o honour_n christ_n but_o they_o have_v no_o regard_n for_o his_o word_n yea_o they_o may_v say_v of_o it_o as_o ahab_n of_o micaiah_n that_o they_o hate_v it_o and_o have_v therefore_o some_o of_o they_o endeavour_v to_o extirpate_v the_o preach_n of_o it_o out_o of_o the_o world_n as_o the_o papist_n have_v do_v at_o least_o have_v look_v on_o it_o as_o a_o useless_a thing_n that_o the_o church_n may_v be_v well_o enough_o without_o but_o such_o man_n will_v find_v themselves_o mistake_v when_o it_o be_v too_o late_o to_o seek_v after_o a_o remedy_n the_o true_a cause_n of_o their_o hatred_n unto_o the_o word_n be_v because_o they_o can_v find_v no_o other_o way_n to_o express_v their_o hatred_n unto_o christ_n himself_o neither_o do_v ever_o any_o man_n hate_n or_o loathe_v the_o gospel_n but_o he_o that_o first_o hate_v and_o loathe_a jesus_n christ_n but_o against_o the_o word_n they_o have_v many_o pretence_n against_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n none_o that_o be_v as_o yet_o passable_a in_o the_o world_n this_o make_v the_o word_n to_o bear_v that_o which_o be_v intend_v against_o christ_n himself_o and_o so_o will_v he_o interpret_v it_o at_o the_o last_o day_n 3._o consider_v that_o this_o word_n be_v confirm_v and_o witness_v unto_o from_o heaven_n by_o the_o mighty_a work_n and_o miracle_n which_o attend_v the_o dispensation_n thereof_o so_o our_o apostle_n here_o inform_v we_o and_o
