world_n a_o fervent_a desire_n to_o go_v forward_o in_o virtue_n the_o love_n of_o discipline_n the_o painfulness_n of_o repentance_n the_o readiness_n of_o obedience_n the_o deny_v of_o ourselves_o and_o the_o bear_v any_o affliction_n for_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n patient_o will_v give_v we_o great_a confidence_n we_o shall_v die_v happy_o whilst_o thou_o be_v in_o health_n thou_o may_v do_v much_o good_a but_o when_o thou_o be_v sick_a i_o see_v not_o what_o thou_o be_v able_a to_o do_v few_o by_o sickness_n grow_v better_a and_o more_o reform_v as_o also_o they_o who_o wander_v much_o abroad_o seldom_o thereby_o become_v holy_a 5._o trust._n not_o to_o friend_n and_o kindred_n neither_o do_v thou_o put_v off_o the_o care_n of_o thy_o soul_n welfare_n till_o hereafter_o for_o man_n sure_o more_o especial_o to_o instruct_v thyself_o before_o all_o thy_o love_a friend_n if_o thou_o have_v not_o the_o favour_n of_o man_n be_v not_o grieve_v at_o it_o but_o take_v this_o to_o heart_n that_o thou_o do_v not_o carry_v thyself_o so_o wary_o and_o circumspect_o as_o it_o become_v the_o servant_n of_o god_n and_o a_o devout_a religious_a man._n it_o be_v better_a oftentimes_o and_o safe_o that_o a_o man_n have_v not_o many_o consolation_n in_o this_o life_n especial_o such_o as_o be_v agreeable_a to_o the_o flesh_n but_o that_o we_o have_v not_o at_o all_o or_o do_v very_o seldom_o taste_v divine_a consolation_n the_o fault_n be_v we_o because_o we_o seek_v not_o after_o compunction_n of_o heart_n nor_o do_v altogether_o forsake_v the_o vain_a and_o outward_a comfort_n of_o this_o world_n 4._o know_v that_o thou_o be_v unworthy_a of_o divine_a consolation_n and_o that_o thou_o have_v rather_o deserve_v much_o tribulation_n when_o a_o man_n have_v perfect_a contrition_n then_o be_v the_o whole_a world_n grievous_a and_o bitter_a unto_o he_o a_o good_a man_n find_v always_o sufficient_a cause_n of_o mourning_n and_o weep_v for_o whether_o he_o consider_v matter_n of_o most_o just_a sorrow_n and_o inward_a compunction_n 5._o do_v thou_o often_o think_v of_o thy_o death_n than_o of_o thy_o live_n long_o there_o be_v no_o question_n but_o thou_o will_v be_v more_o careful_a to_o amend_v i_o believe_v thou_o will_v willing_o undergo_v any_o labour_n or_o sorrow_n in_o this_o world_n and_o not_o be_v afraid_a of_o the_o great_a austerity_n if_o thou_o do_v consider_v within_o thyself_o the_o infernal_a pain_n in_o the_o other_o world_n but_o because_o these_o thing_n enter_v not_o to_o the_o heart_n and_o we_o still_o love_v those_o thing_n only_o that_o delight_n we_o therefore_o it_o be_v we_o remain_v very_o dull_a and_o cold_a in_o religion_n 6._o it_o be_v often_o our_o want_n of_o spirit_n which_o make_v our_o miserable_a body_n so_o swallow_v up_o of_o life_n 6._o o_o how_o great_a be_v humane_a frailty_n which_o be_v always_o prone_a to_o evil_a to_o day_n thou_o confess_v thy_o sin_n and_o to_o morrow_n thou_o commit_v the_o
