or_o by_o the_o spirit_n that_o be_v his_o godhead_n or_o by_o the_o virtue_n and_o merit_n of_o his_o divine_a nature_n which_o make_v all_o he_o do_v efficacious_a and_o satisfactory_a the_o spirit_n itself_o bear_v witness_n of_o it_o and_o full_o discharge_v he_o from_o what_o be_v lay_v upon_o he_o for_o these_o word_n as_o one_o say_v to_o be_v bring_v in_o answer_n to_o a_o objection_n which_o may_v be_v make_v on_o this_o that_o christ_n be_v god_n manifest_v in_o flesh_n that_o be_v humble_v and_o abase_v or_o else_o he_o can_v not_o have_v suffer_v why_o hence_o the_o world_n think_v he_o be_v a_o deceiver_n that_o he_o be_v not_o such_o a_o one_o as_o he_o pretend_v take_v upon_o he_o as_o a_o malefactor_n and_o use_v he_o so_o why_o but_o he_o be_v not_o so_o for_o though_o he_o be_v manifest_v in_o that_o base_a and_o low_a way_n and_o so_o unite_a and_o cloud_v in_o flesh_n yet_o he_o be_v justify_v in_o the_o spirit_n they_o see_v not_o that_o inward_a glory_n and_o power_n which_o be_v in_o christ_n nature_n but_o what_o ever_o man_n esteem_v of_o he_o yet_o the_o spirit_n itself_o justify_v he_o but_o see_v this_o be_v so_o great_a a_o mystery_n and_o the_o punishment_n of_o they_o lay_v on_o he_o whereby_o he_o stand_v as_o a_o visible_a malefactor_n and_o under_o the_o visible_a sentence_n of_o condemnation_n for_o christ_n be_v real_o put_v he_o to_o death_n as_o if_o they_o have_v say_v we_o will_v try_v that_o thou_o can_v not_o die_v if_o thou_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o so_o when_o he_o be_v put_v to_o death_n they_o be_v confirm_v that_o he_o be_v a_o deceiver_n but_o now_o when_o he_o rise_v again_o of_o himself_o than_o he_o be_v declare_v with_o power_n to_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n that_o be_v justify_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o holiness_n or_o the_o holy_a spirit_n that_o spirit_n do_v declare_v that_o he_o be_v full_a of_o holiness_n but_o this_o be_v the_o least_o part_n of_o christ_n undertake_v now_o this_o be_v the_o great_a meaning_n of_o this_o phrase_n that_o whereas_o christ_n be_v manifest_a as_o god_n in_o our_o flesh_n and_o so_o stand_v under_o the_o guilt_n of_o our_o say_v rom._n 8._o to_o condemn_v sin_n in_o the_o flesh_n that_o same_o god-man_n be_v also_o justify_v in_o the_o spirit_n that_o be_v free_o and_o full_o acquit_v by_o his_o godhead_n from_o all_o these_o sin_n and_o so_o take_v up_o into_o glory_n and_o christ_n himself_o in_o a_o prophecy_n when_o he_o be_v to_o die_v and_o be_v judge_v as_o a_o condemn_a man_n he_o comfort_v himself_o with_o
