or_o so_o lift_v up_o and_o look_v to_o the_o bread_n or_o host_n which_o they_o call_v the_o very_a body_n itself_o that_o be_v crucify_v or_o rather_o the_o whole_a christ_n yet_o of_o the_o true_a into_o the_o world_n add_v this_o as_o a_o rule_n for_o discern_v the_o false_a spirit_n or_o prophet_n from_o the_o true_a every_o spirit_n that_o confess_v that_o be_v acknowledge_v praise_v speak_v out_o jesus_n christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n be_v of_o god_n he_o suit_v with_o and_o pursue_v god_n design_n who_o in_o his_o doctrine_n and_o in_o the_o drift_n and_o scope_n of_o it_o make_v it_o his_o work_n and_o business_n to_o commend_v and_o speak_v forth_o jesus_n christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n not_o only_o god_n in_o his_o naked_a consideration_n as_o in_o himself_o and_o not_o in_o christ_n jesus_n nor_o only_a christ_n as_o he_o be_v before_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n or_o as_o in_o the_o word_n or_o prophecy_n only_o but_o as_o come_v in_o the_o flesh_n both_o acknowledge_v that_o he_o be_v come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o lift_v he_o up_o as_o so_o come_v as_o the_o only_a powerful_a sufficient_a saviour_n medicine_n and_o cure_n of_o miserable_a man_n that_o man_n may_v address_v themselves_o to_o he_o and_o he_o only_o as_o evidence_v himself_o in_o his_o testimony_n and_o attend_v upon_o he_o for_o his_o help_n and_o salvation_n in_o all_o his_o way_n and_o appointment_n order_v by_o he_o as_o come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o have_v their_o foundation_n in_o he_o witness_v of_o and_o lead_v to_o he_o as_o in_o attend_v to_o he_o in_o his_o word_n and_o wait_v upon_o he_o in_o his_o ordinance_n and_o gift_n give_v and_o appoint_v for_o the_o perfect_a the_o saint_n for_o the_o work_n of_o the_o ministry_n for_o the_o edify_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n etc._n etc._n but_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n every_o spirit_n that_o confess_v not_o jesus_n christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n be_v not_o of_o god_n but_o be_v that_o spirit_n of_o antichrist_n that_o shall_v come_v into_o the_o world_n that_o be_v every_o doctrine_n and_o spirit_n breathe_v therein_o and_o so_o every_o teacher_n preach_v any_o doctrine_n however_o otherwise_o he_o may_v appear_v full_a of_o spirit_n force_n zeal_n and_o efficacy_n in_o his_o teach_n and_o doctrine_n for_o move_v and_o work_v upon_o his_o auditory_a yea_o though_o he_o shall_v speak_v yea_o or_o walk_v like_o a_o angel_n in_o his_o outward_a conversation_n and_o appearance_n among_o man_n yet_o if_o he_o bring_v not_o this_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n if_o he_o do_v not_o confess_v acknowledge_v speak_v out_o so_o as_o to_o set_v forth_o glorify_v and_o lift_v up_o jesus_n christ_n as_o come_v in_o the_o flesh_n to_o be_v the_o only_a saviour_n the_o great_a design_n and_o devise_v of_o god_n for_o his_o bring_n in_o or_o reconcile_a man_n to_o himself_o as_o the_o power_n and_o wisdom_n of_o god_n that_o in_o which_o the_o only_a wise_a god_n have_v show_v forth_o the_o riches_n of_o his_o wisdom_n and_o that_o in_o which_o be_v the_o greatness_n of_o his_o power_n for_o destroy_v and_o overthrow_v the_o kingdom_n of_o sin_n and_o satan_n and_o deliver_v man_n from_o destruction_n and_o for_o make_v they_o wise_a and_o able_a to_o every_o good_a thing_n that_o man_n be_v not_o send_v of_o god_n or_o authorize_v of_o he_o in_o his_o ministry_n and_o doctrine_n nor_o be_v own_v of_o he_o as_o act_v by_o his_o spirit_n but_o inasmuch_o as_o he_o lay_v by_o hides_z and_o conceal_v own_v or_o acknowledge_v not_o that_o great_a mystery_n he_o be_v of_o antichrist_n and_o the_o spirit_n that_o act_n and_o lead_v he_o out_o to_o and_o in_o all_o his_o zeal_n and_o fervour_n for_o promote_a any_o other_o way_n for_o bring_v man_n to_o god_n lay_v by_o this_o design_n of_o god_n this_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n be_v not_o of_o god_n
appear_v clear_o and_o evident_o in_o his_o proceed_n and_o if_o it_o be_v so_o equitable_a that_o they_o who_o neglect_n or_o refuse_v to_o look_v to_o god_n salvation_n perish_v how_o much_o more_o will_v it_o be_v so_o for_o those_o who_o beside_o their_o neglect_n and_o rejection_n of_o this_o remedy_n themselves_o and_o through_o so_o do_v either_o be_v unfaithful_a to_o god_n in_o his_o design_n of_o mercy_n to_o man_n while_o have_v some_o knowledge_n of_o it_o vouchsafe_v to_o they_o and_o command_v to_o help_v their_o brethren_n therein_o in_o set_v forth_o or_o lift_v up_o this_o remedy_n to_o they_o they_o neglect_v so_o to_o do_v so_o as_o through_o their_o unfaithfulness_n they_o occasion_n they_o through_o ignorance_n and_o misprision_n to_o err_v and_o perish_v there_o from_o sure_o it_o be_v but_o just_a if_o those_o person_n blood_n also_o be_v require_v at_o their_o hand_n as_o be_v threaten_v ezek._n 3_o 18._o and_o 33.6_o 8_o or_o and_o much_o more_o still_o if_o they_o also_o oppose_v and_o set_v themselves_o against_o christ_n and_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o he_o and_o the_o testimony_n of_o god_n in_o the_o gospel_n concern_v he_o inasmuch_o as_o they_o be_v not_o only_o defective_a and_o injurious_a to_o their_o own_o soul_n but_o also_o betray_v or_o offer_v violence_n to_o the_o soul_n of_o other_o defraud_v they_o of_o or_o drive_v they_o from_o their_o everlasting_a welfare_n and_o salvation_n yea_o and_o as_o to_o the_o latter_a sort_n find_v fighter_n also_o against_o god_n and_o his_o grand_a design_n 3._o and_o their_o destruction_n must_v needs_o be_v inevitable_a and_o unavoidable_a when_o it_o befall_v they_o for_o if_o they_o only_o refuse_v and_o neglect_v to_o look_v to_o christ_n that_o they_o may_v be_v save_v by_o he_o yet_o how_o can_v they_o possible_o escape_v destruction_n there_o be_v no_o other_o name_n give_v under_o heaven_n whereby_o they_o may_v be_v save_v but_o this_o of_o christ_n the_o son_n of_o man_n lift_v up_o as_o moses_n lift_v up_o the_o serpent_n in_o the_o wilderness_n if_o there_o can_v have_v be_v deliverance_n from_o death_n and_o wrath_n any_o other_o way_n god_n will_v not_o have_v put_v his_o son_n upon_o such_o abasement_n and_o suffering_n that_o we_o may_v be_v save_v by_o he_o and_o now_o if_o there_o be_v but_o one_o medicine_n that_o will_v cure_v a_o disease_n and_o if_o that_o be_v when_o with_o much_o care_n and_o cost_v it_o be_v procure_v reject_v how_o can_v that_o person_n who_o reject_v it_o possible_o escape_v die_v of_o his_o disease_n such_o be_v the_o case_n here_o act_v 4.11_o 12._o heb._n 2.3_o and_o they_o in_o refuse_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n provoke_v he_o to_o anger_n how_o much_o more_o if_o they_o be_v unfaithful_a to_o other_o and_o hinder_v they_o of_o their_o good_a and_o how_o then_o can_v they_o escape_v destruction_n also_o from_o he_o see_v he_o be_v so_o infinite_o great_a in_o power_n
