my_o moisture_n be_v go_v second_o there_o be_v a_o sense_n of_o it_o man_n and_o woman_n be_v sensible_a that_o their_o moisture_n be_v spend_v three_o there_o be_v the_o knowledge_n of_o something_o suitable_a to_o relieve_v they_o and_o then_o four_o come_v actual_a thirst_n upon_o these_o four_o arise_v thirst_n so_o in_o this_o spiritual_a thirst_n there_o be_v a_o absence_n of_o moisture_n there_o be_v a_o want_n of_o grace_n a_o want_n of_o that_o be_v spiritual_a a_o want_n of_o christ_n 2_o the_o soul_n be_v sensible_a of_o it_o as_o sisera_n say_v give_v i_o a_o little_a water_n to_o drink_v for_o i_o be_o thirsty_a there_o be_v moisture_n go_v and_o sense_n of_o it_o and_o water_n to_o be_v have_v and_o actual_a desire_n so_o here_o in_o this_o spiritual_a thirst_n there_o be_v a_o want_n of_o god_n image_n we_o have_v his_o image_n but_o that_o be_v go_v as_o paul_n say_v in_o our_o flesh_n dwell_v no_o good_a there_o be_v no_o spiritual_a good_a dwell_v in_o a_o man_n or_o woman_n and_o then_o we_o must_v be_v sensible_a of_o this_o and_o so_o know_v there_o be_v some_o relief_n to_o be_v have_v and_o that_o be_v christ_n proclaim_v in_o the_o gospel_n hold_v out_o in_o the_o word_n the_o water_n of_o life_n and_o then_o the_o soul_n come_v actual_o to_o desire_n christ_n when_o christ_n tell_v the_o woman_n of_o samaria_n of_o water_n of_o life_n water_n that_o she_o shall_v drink_v of_o and_o thirst_n no_o more_o than_o she_o come_v to_o desire_v so_o a_o soul_n that_o know_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o water_n of_o life_n and_o find_v and_o feel_v a_o absence_n of_o moisture_n come_v actual_o to_o desire_v this_o water_n of_o life_n therefore_o say_v christ_n let_v he_o that_o be_v athirst_a come_v for_o our_o further_a proceed_v in_o this_o i_o shall_v show_v you_o why_o this_o thirst_a be_v require_v 2_o the_o nature_n and_o property_n of_o it_o and_o then_o make_v use_n require_v why_o this_o thirst_a be_v require_v where_o we_o shall_v themselves_o withal_o their_o own_o good_a nature_n their_o own_o part_n their_o own_o righteousness_n and_o performance_n they_o be_v full_a of_o these_o but_o now_o when_o they_o come_v to_o this_o spiritual_a thirst_n they_o be_v empty_v of_o all_o these_o there_o be_v a_o breach_n make_v between_o sin_n and_o their_o soul_n and_o so_o all_o be_v let_v out_o of_o this_o nature_n this_o new_a wine_n must_v not_o be_v put_v in_o full_a bottle_n the_o bottle_n must_v be_v empty_a when_o a_o man_n therefore_o thirst_v after_o christ_n this_o man_n now_o see_v that_o he_o have_v nothing_o to_o without_o thirst_v man_n will_v not_o come_v to_o christ_n a_o man_n that_o be_v not_o sick_a he_o will_v not_o come_v to_o the_o physician_n but_o a_o man_n that_o be_v sick_a and_o full_a of_o pain_n that_o man_n will_v come_v to_o the_o physician_n 3_o it_o be_v require_v because_o if_o man_n do_v come_v to_o christ_n yet_o they_o will_v not_o drink_v when_o they_o come_v unless_o they_o be_v thirsty_a you_o may_v bring_v a_o beast_n unto_o the_o water_n but_o unless_o he_o be_v athirst_a he_o will_v not_o drink_v so_o many_o man_n may_v be_v press_v by_o argument_n to_o come_v to_o christ_n to_o come_v to_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n but_o unless_o they_o be_v thirsty_a they_o will_v not_o drink_v when_o man_n come_v to_o a_o feast_n and_o there_o be_v variety_n of_o wine_n and_o drink_n there_o if_o not_o thirsty_a they_o will_v fault_n the_o drink_n though_o wine_n and_o speak_v evil_a of_o it_o and_o say_v it_o be_v too_o new_a too_o tart_a too_o flat_a some_o expression_n or_o other_o they_o will_v have_v against_o it_o why_o they_o be_v not_o thirsty_a whereas_o if_o they_o be_v thirsty_a they_o will_v drink_v so_o be_v it_o with_o man_n and_o woman_n that_o come_v to_o christ_n not_o be_v thirsty_a they_o fault_n the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n which_o be_v the_o drink_n he_o give_v they_o why_o you_o must_v deny_v yourselves_o you_o must_v part_v with_o thing_n that_o be_v dear_a to_o you_o you_o must_v take_v up_o a_o cross_n and_o follow_v christ_n o_o this_o be_v drink_n that_o be_v full_a of_o lees_n this_o be_v drink_v that_o have_v no_o savour_n in_o it_o and_o will_v not_o down_o with_o man_n and_o woman_n therefore_o unless_o man_n be_v thirsty_a they_o will_v not_o drink_v the_o drink_n that_o christ_n have_v prepare_v for_o they_o this_o water_n of_o life_n they_o will_v not_o see_v any_o life_n in_o it_o but_o they_o will_v reject_v it_o and_o lay_v it_o aside_o this_o doctrine_n will_v not_o down_o
