wise_a god_n that_o can_v turn_v the_o wicked_a malice_n and_o obstinacy_n of_o sinner_n to_o the_o work_v of_o his_o great_a glory_n that_o he_o be_v a_o careful_a and_o merciful_a god_n toward_o his_o people_n and_o for_o their_o defence_n and_o deliverance_n will_v not_o stick_v to_o break_v and_o pull_v down_o even_o mighty_a prince_n and_o people_n there_o be_v also_o a_o other_o cause_n why_o god_n do_v here_o suffer_v pharaoh_n &_o at_o other_o time_n bear_v with_o other_o grievous_a sinner_n and_o only_o for_o the_o time_n punish_v they_o with_o light_n &_o mean_a plague_n and_o can_v wherefore_o when_o we_o see_v in_o these_o chapiters_n that_n all_o endeavour_n be_v use_v both_o by_o god_n and_o by_o his_o servant_n to_o persuade_v pharaoh_n and_o yet_o that_o he_o be_v nothing_o move_v either_o by_o his_o word_n or_o by_o his_o threaten_n or_o by_o his_o miracle_n or_o by_o the_o counsel_n and_o advertisement_n of_o moses_n and_o aaron_n yea_o or_o of_o his_o own_o subject_n we_o be_v teach_v that_o all_o the_o work_n &_o endeavour_n of_o man_n to_o bring_v sinner_n from_o their_o obstinacy_n unto_o the_o embrace_v of_o god_n holy_a will_n be_v all_o vain_a unless_o it_o please_v god_n also_o to_o work_v by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n wherefore_o we_o must_v submit_v ourselves_o to_o the_o mighty_a hand_n of_o god_n in_o his_o secret_a judgement_n and_o otherwise_o we_o must_v by_o these_o example_n learn_v that_o they_o come_v not_o by_o chance_n or_o by_o natural_a cause_n only_o but_o that_o they_o be_v send_v of_o god_n as_o punishment_n of_o the_o way_n of_o peace_n they_o know_v not_o 8._o in_o their_o go_n be_v no_o equity_n etc_n etc_n they_o hate_v peace_n and_o quietness_n and_o be_v altogether_o give_v to_o strife_n contention_n variance_n injury_n and_o violence_n yea_o all_o their_o device_n and_o way_n be_v so_o crooked_a and_o overthwart_a that_o they_o tend_v to_o trouble_v and_o business_n so_o that_o he_o that_o follow_v they_o shall_v never_o be_v quiet_a and_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n that_o equity_n be_v so_o far_o from_o we_o 9_o and_o that_o etc_n etc_n hitherto_o the_o prophet_n have_v paint_v out_o the_o vice_n and_o wickedness_n of_o the_o hypocrite_n that_o they_o may_v the_o better_o understand_v for_o how_o grievous_a cause_n god_n be_v displease_v with_o they_o and_o that_o the_o cause_n be_v in_o themselves_o and_o not_o in_o god_n hard_a deal_n therefore_o he_o now_o show_v how_o great_a punishment_n by_o god_n just_a judgement_n do_v light_n upon_o they_o for_o the_o same_o 25._o first_o that_o as_o they_o have_v *_o use_v other_o so_o they_o be_v now_o by_o their_o enemy_n oppress_v with_o violence_n and_o injury_n and_o the_o righteousness_n and_o help_n of_o god_n be_v far_o from_o they_o and_o do_v not_o deliver_v they_o second_o that_o where_o through_o their_o hypocritical_a fast_v without_o repentance_n they_o look_v for_o light_n that_o be_v for_o felicity_n and_o the_o brightness_n of_o god_n help_n and_o comfort_n they_o have_v *_o darkness_n 16._o that_o be_v adversity_n and_o certain_a token_n of_o his_o heavy_a displeasure_n 10._o yea_o they_o be_v wrap_v in_o so_o great_a trouble_n calamity_n and_o misery_n as_o they_o be_v utter_o astonish_v and_o at_o their_o wit_n end_n and_o can_v tell_v what_o to_o devise_v to_o help_v themselves_o but_o be_v as_o man_n blind_a and_o in_o great_a darkness_n that_o grope_v by_o the_o wall_n to_o get_v out_o of_o a_o maze_n or_o intricate_a place_n 11._o and_o can_v find_v no_o way_n three_o that_o when_o they_o see_v themselves_o so_o beset_v with_o misery_n as_o they_o can_v with_o no_o shift_n ease_v themselves_o they_o sometime_o *_o breake_o out_o for_o sorrow_n and_o roar_v like_o a_o bear_n 34._o sometime_o they_o lament_v and_o mourn_v as_o a_o dove_n and_o look_v for_o succour_n and_o help_v at_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o it_o be_v far_o from_o they_o for_o see_v they_o have_v deceive_v the_o expectation_n of_o god_n in_o look_v that_o they_o shall_v repent_v marvel_v though_o he_o *_o frustrate_v their_o hope_n again_o in_o look_v for_o equity_n and_o goodness_n at_o his_o hand_n 13._o for_o our_o offence_n be_v many_o before_o thou_o 12._o and_o our_o sin_n testify_v etc_n etc_n the_o prophet_n in_o way_n of_o lamentable_a complaint_n confess_v the_o manifold_a and_o great_a offence_n of_o the_o people_n which_o yet_o they_o can_v not_o be_v bring_v in_o themselves_o to_o acknowledge_v 13._o namely_o that_o they_o depart_v from_o the_o lord_n and_o rebel_v against_o he_o with_o traitorous_a imagination_n and_o will_v not_o obey_v his_o word_n that_o they_o use_v falsehood_n and_o dissimulation_n in_o their_o heart_n when_o they_o
