as_o you_o see_v before_o unto_o who_o they_o burn_v and_o sacrifice_v their_o child_n 2._o kin._n 23._o verse_n 10._o and_o by_o this_o one_o kind_n the_o lord_n understand_v all_o kind_n of_o idolatry_n that_o person_n shall_v the_o people_n of_o the_o land_n stone_n to_o death_n but_o what_o if_o they_o be_v negligent_a see_v the_o severity_n of_o god_n against_o this_o sin_n then_o will_v i_o say_v god_n set_v my_o face_n against_o that_o man_n and_o 4._o cut_v he_o off_o from_o among_o his_o people_n yea_o i_o say_v again_o if_o the_o people_n of_o the_o land_n hide_v their_o all_o that_o go_v a_o whore_v after_o he_o etc._n etc._n why_o lord_n why_o so_o because_o he_o have_v defile_v my_o sanctuary_n and_o pollute_a my_o holy_a name_n see_v in_o these_o term_n the_o nature_n of_o idolatry_n yet_o there_o be_v mercy_n with_o the_o lord_n and_o great_a patience_n tempt_v he_o not_o therefore_o but_o meditate_v of_o these_o example_n solomon_n fall_v to_o idolatry_n and_o what_o a_o judgement_n do_v god_n show_v upon_o his_o house_n in_o his_o son_n entrance_n rehoboam_n by_o cut_v off_o for_o ever_o from_o he_o ten_o of_o the_o tribe_n manasses_n
moral_a virtue_n you_o see_v and_o it_o be_v very_o certain_a that_o such_o vice_n of_o the_o mind_n as_o have_v be_v note_v neither_o then_o be_v nor_o now_o be_v for_o such_o as_o offer_v the_o bread_n of_o god_n but_o be_v to_o be_v pray_v against_o and_o take_v heed_n of_o to_o the_o uttermost_a strength_n that_o god_n give_v yet_o happy_o not_o intend_v by_o the_o law_n and_o therefore_o i_o rather_o like_v to_o leave_v these_o application_n as_o the_o conceit_n of_o man_n and_o to_o learn_v by_o all_o these_o blemish_n forbid_v that_o the_o jew_n be_v then_o teach_v which_o we_o have_v also_o learned_a and_o believe_v how_o no_o mortal_a man_n can_v be_v able_a to_o work_v our_o peace_n and_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n but_o only_o christ_n jesus_n for_o in_o all_o man_n be_v some_o or_o other_o blemish_n and_o it_o become_v we_o to_o 2d_o have_v such_o a_o highpriest_n as_o be_v holy_a harmless_a undefiled_a separate_a from_o sinner_n and_o make_v high_a than_o the_o heaven_n etc._n etc._n in_o he_o then_o there_o be_v no_o blemish_n but_o he_o be_v the_o immaculate_a lamb_n of_o god_n able_a to_o save_v we_o willing_a to_o save_v we_o with_o the_o best_a blood_n he_o have_v and_o he_o have_v thus_o save_v all_o those_o that_o believe_v on_o he_o and_o we_o reject_v all_o other_o saviour_n whatsoever_o this_o be_v certain_o the_o drift_n of_o this_o law_n and_o therefore_o we_o may_v bold_o gather_v this_o fruit_n from_o it_o last_o these_o person_n have_v such_o blemish_n albeit_o they_o may_v not_o perform_v this_o duty_n to_o stand_v at_o the_o aitar_n yet_o be_v they_o allow_v to_o eat_v of_o the_o sacrifice_n and_o such_o thing_n as_o the_o priest_n do_v eat_v of_o and_o allow_v to_o be_v in_o the_o congregation_n so_o say_v some_o shadow_v that_o the_o church_n although_o blemish_v nevertheless_o be_v admit_v to_o the_o communion_n and_o participation_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o christ_n by_o his_o eternal_a sacrifice_n have_v obtain_v for_o it_o and_o myself_o will_v gather_v this_o comfort_n from_o it_o that_o albeit_o some_o one_o or_o other_o infirmity_n may_v just_o disable_v i_o for_o such_o a_o place_n either_o in_o the_o church_n or_o commonwealth_n yet_o from_o a_o place_n with_o the_o elect_a either_o here_o or_o for_o ever_o it_o shall_v not_o hinder_v i_o no_o ten_o thousand_o blemish_n nor_o any_o blemish_n shall_v hinder_v i_o if_o grieve_v with_o they_o and_o fight_v against_o they_o as_o the_o lord_n enable_v i_o i_o take_v hold_v of_o my_o spotless_a saviour_n as_o my_o help_n and_o safety_n against_o they_o all_o thus_o then_o do_v you_o meditate_v of_o this_o chapter_n and_o be_v bettre_v by_o it_o read_v it_o over_o with_o these_o note_n and_o pray_v in_o your_o heart_n for_o the_o help_n of_o his_o work_a spirit_n to_o make_v the_o word_n profitable_a unto_o you_o my_o labour_n be_v but_o to_o draw_v you_o to_o read_v by_o a_o taste_n and_o to_o pray_v that_o god_n may_v work_v with_o you_o further_o than_o my_o labour_n the_o word_n be_v a_o well_o the_o bottom_n whereof_o no_o man_n can_v come_v so_o unto_o but_o there_o will_v be_v still_o more_o water_n to_o draw_v chap._n xxii_o have_v in_o the_o former_a chap._n note_v what_o shall_v hinder_v from_o the_o ministry_n now_o it_o please_v the_o lord_n to_o note_v what_o shall_v disable_v they_o to_o eat_v of_o the_o holy_a thing_n mencion_v again_o such_o uncleanness_n in_o man_n as_o before_o in_o other_o chapter_n of_o this_o book_n be_v mention_v if_o this_o question_n arise_v in_o your_o mind_n why_o god_n have_v before_o forbid_v all_o man_n that_o have_v these_o pollution_n to_o eat_v of_o holy_a thing_n shall_v not_o again_o particular_o forbid_v the_o priest_n answer_v be_v make_v because_o man_n in_o any_o authority_n and_o place_n be_v often_o apt_a to_o exempt_v they_o themselves_o by_o one_o excuse_n or_o other_o from_o such_o obedience_n as_o they_o be_v content_v other_o
