CHAP. XXVIII 1 Offerings are be observed 3 The continual burnt-offering 9 The offering on the sabbath 11 on the new-moons 16 at the pass-over 26 in the day of first-fruits ANd the LORD spake unto Moses saying 2 Command the children of Israel and say unto them My offering and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire for † Heb. a savour of my rest a sweet savour unto me shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season 3 And thou shalt say unto them * Exod. 29.38 This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto the LORD two lambs of the first year without pot † Heb. in a day day by day for a continual burnt-offering 4 The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning and the other lamb shalt thou offer † Heb. between the two evenines at even 5 And a tenth part of an Ephah of flour for a * Lev. 2.1 meat-offering mingled with the fourth part of an * Ex. 29.40 hin of beaten oyl 6 It is a continual burnt-offering which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD 7 And the drink-offering thereof shall be the fourth part of an hin for the one lamb in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD for a drink offering 8 And the other lamb shalt thou offer at even as the meat-offering of the morning and as the drink-offering thereof thou shalt offer it a sacrifice made by fire of a sweet savour unto the LORD 9 ¶ And on the sabbath-day two lambs of the first year without spot and two tenth deals of flour for a meat-offering mingled with oyl and the drink offering thereof 10 This is the burnt offering of every sabbath beside the continual burnt-offering and his drink offering 11 ¶ And in the beginnings of your moneths ye shall offer a burnt-offering unto the LORD two young bullocks and one ram seven lambs of the first year without spot 12 And three tenth deals of flour for a meat-offering mingled with oyl for one

XXVII 1 The altar of burnt-offering with the vessels thereof 9 The court of the tabernacle inclosed with hangings and pillars 18 The measure of the court 20 The oyl for the lamp ANd thou shalt make an altar of shittim-wood five cubits long and five cubits broad the altar shall be four-square and the height thereof shall be three cubits 2 And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof his horns shall be of the same and thou shalt overlay it with brass 3 And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes and his shovels and his basons and his flesh-hooks and his fire pans all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass 4 And thou shalt make for it a grate of net-work of brass and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof 5 And thou shalt put in under the compass of the altar beneath that the net may be even to the midst of the altar 6 And thou shalt make staves for the altar staves of shittim-wood and overlay them with brass 7 And the staves shall be put into the rings and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar to bear it 8 Hollow with boards shalt thou make it as † Heb. be shewed it was shewed thee in the mount so shall they make it 9 ¶ And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle for the south-side south-ward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side 10 And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty sockets shall be of brass the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver 11 And likewise for the north-side in length there shall be hangings of an hundred cubits long and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of brass the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver 12 ¶ And for the breadth of the court on the west-side shall be hangings of fifty cubits their pillars ten and their sockets ten 13 And the breadth of the court on the east-side east-ward shall be fifty cubits 14 The hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits their pillars three and their sockets three 15 And on the other side shall be hangings fifteen cubits their pillars three and their sockets three 16 ¶ And for the gate of the court shall be an hanging of twenty cubits of blue and purple and scarlet and fine twined linen wrought with needle-work and their pillars shall be four and their sockets four 17 All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver their hooks shall be of silver and their sockets of brass 18 ¶ The length of the court shall be an hundred cubits and the breadth † Heb. fifty by fifty fifty every where and the height five cubits of fine twined linen and their sockets of brass 19 All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof and all the pins thereof and all the pins of the court shall be of brass 20 ¶ And thou shalt command the children of Israel that they bring thee pure oyl-olive beaten for the light to cause the lamp † Heb. to ascend up to burn always 21 In the tabernacle of the congregat●on without the vail which is before the testimony Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD It shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel CHAP. XXVIII 1 Aaron and his sons are set apart for the priests office 2 Holy garments are appointed 6 The ephod 15 The breast-plate with twelve precious stones 30 The Vrim and Thummim 31. The robe of the ephod with pomegranates and bells 36 The plate of the mitre 39 The embroidered coat 40 The garments for Aarons sons ANd take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother his sons with him from among the children of Israel that he may minister unto me in the priests office even Aaron Nadab Abihu Eleazar Ithamar Aarons sons 2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty 3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise-hearted whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom that they may make Aarons garments to consecrate him that he may minister unto me in the Priests office 4 And these are the garments which they shall make a breast-plate and an ephod and a robe and a broidered coat a mitre and a girdle and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother and his sons that he may minister unto me in the priests office 5 And they shall take gold blue purple scarlet and fine linen 6 ¶ And they
