form_n of_o prayer_n use_v in_o all_o church_n in_o so_o much_o as_o the_o soldier_n in_o the_o field_n have_v their_o set_a prayer_n and_o in_o many_o counsel_n it_o be_v decree_v that_o no_o church_n shall_v use_v any_o form_n of_o prayer_n but_o such_o as_o be_v allow_v and_o appoint_v and_o that_o for_o these_o cause_n first_o that_o there_o may_v be_v a_o uniformity_n in_o the_o solemn_a worship_n of_o god_n and_o second_o that_o the_o ignorance_n and_o negligence_n of_o many_o pastor_n may_v be_v prevent_v who_o otherwise_o will_v have_v omit_v this_o duty_n in_o their_o congregation_n and_o therefore_o there_o be_v then_o set_v down_o a_o general_a form_n of_o confession_n of_o faith_n of_o prayer_n and_o thanksgiving_n and_o of_o administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n now_o consider_v set_v prayer_n be_v god_n ordinance_n and_o the_o imperfection_n of_o man_n require_v it_o and_o the_o same_o have_v be_v so_o long_o use_v in_o former_a age_n i_o doubt_v
