their_o action_n must_v we_o therefore_o suffer_v all_o manner_n of_o scandalous_a notorious_a blasphemer_n to_o cumber_v that_o little_a flock_n obj._n it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o servant_n do_v these_o ordinance_n be_v not_o to_o be_v practise_v by_o the_o now_o christian_n who_o be_v they_o prescribe_v you_o will_v reply_v they_o be_v requisite_a for_o they_o time_n which_o be_v only_a they_o as_o much_o as_o lay_v in_o he_o both_o in_o the_o doctrinal_a and_o traditional_a paâ—â—_n of_o they_o which_o by_o god_n assistance_n i_o have_v much_o if_o not_o altogether_o purge_v and_o clear_v from_o their_o antichristian_a dross_n and_o reduce_v they_o to_o their_o primative_a purity_n out_o of_o that_o mass_n of_o corruption_n they_o be_v involve_v in_o to_o which_o law_n and_o ordinance_n of_o your_o master_n christ_n i_o hope_v you_o will_v yield_v a_o willing_a
subjection_n by_o incorporate_n yourselves_o into_o body_n politic_a by_o that_o rule_n which_o christ_n have_v prescribe_v for_o that_o purpose_n viz._n by_o the_o gate_n of_o baptism_n it_o be_v the_o external_a mean_n to_o inisiate_n you_o into_o the_o external_a profession_n of_o christ_n in_o his_o church_n militant_a your_o person_n be_v as_o well_o to_o conform_v to_o the_o outward_a government_n thereof_o as_o your_o spirit_n to_o the_o inward_a again_o as_o in_o humane_a learning_n he_o that_o will_v be_v make_v complete_a must_v first_o attain_v to_o three_o degree_n of_o knowledge_n viz._n a_o good_a grammarian_n a_o rethorissian_n and_o a_o logissian_n so_o be_v it_o in_o spiritual_a knowledge_n to_o which_o there_o be_v also_o three_o degree_n to_o be_v attain_v before_o one_o can_v be_v form_v a_o complete_a christian_a viz._n the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n and_o the_o new_a testament_n and_o the_o spiritual_a interpretation_n thereof_o and_o it_o be_v worthy_a of_o our_o best_a observation_n to_o consider_v the_o mutual_a harmony_n of_o the_o scripture_n to_o attain_v this_o spiritual_a knowledge_n as_o aforesaid_a for_o in_o relation_n to_o this_o threefold_a knowledge_n we_o have_v a_o trinity_n of_o person_n in_o the_o deity_n which_o co-opperate_a with_o they_o and_o be_v agreeable_a and_o proportionable_a to_o they_o answerable_a to_o which_o there_o be_v also_o a_o threefold_a faith_n viz._n a_o fundamental_a faith_n a_o historical_a faith_n and_o a_o justify_v faith_n the_o first_o agree_v with_o god_n the_o father_n as_o the_o creator_n make_v know_v in_o the_o old_a testament_n the_o second_o to_o the_o son_n as_o a_o redeemer_n in_o the_o new_a testament_n and_o the_o three_o to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o the_o spirituality_n of_o the_o letter_n in_o both_o of_o they_o the_o first_o alude_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n as_o he_o be_v in_o himself_o the_o 2._o as_o he_o be_v in_o his_o son_n and_o 3._o as_o he_o be_v a_o trinity_n in_o unity_n and_o a_o unity_n in_o trinity_n the_o 1._o describe_v the_o kingdom_n and_o government_n of_o god_n the_o father_n with_o his_o angellicall_a minister_n the_o 2._o the_o government_n of_o the_o son_n with_o his_o apostollicall_a minister_n and_o the_o 3._o the_o kingdom_n or_o government_n of_o the_o holyghost_n with_o his_o minister_a saint_n which_o be_v now_o approach_v it_o be_v also_o worthy_a our_o observation_n what_o sacrament_n of_o union_n and_o correspondency_n there_o weâ—â—â—â—longing_v to_o those_o distinct_a kingdom_n and_o government_n froâ—â—â—ch_v as_o do_v not_o belong_v unto_o they_o as_o in_o the_o first_o under_o the_o law_n they_o have_v circumcision_n as_o a_o badge_n of_o their_o profession_n under_o the_o gospel_n or_o new_a testament_n a_o baptism_n of_o water_n in_o relation_n to_o christ_n the_o 2._o person_n as_o also_o a_o baptism_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o reference_n to_o the_o three_o person_n the_o water_n baptism_n be_v a_o badge_n of_o their_o outward_a profession_n as_o they_o be_v a_o church_n millitant_a or_o a_o external_a church_n and_o the_o spiritual_a baptism_n in_o relation_n to_o their_o internal_a or_o spiritual_a society_n that_o of_o water_n baptism_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o gate_n or_o inlet_n to_o the_o other_o there_o beiug_v also_o now_o as_o much_o reason_n why_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v separate_v and_o distinguish_v from_o the_o world_n and_o antichristianisme_n as_o there_o be_v either_o before_o under_z or_o after_o the_o law_n viz._n in_o the_o apostle_n time_n again_o the_o new_a jerusalem_n which_o be_v now_o to_o descend_v be_v say_v to_o be_v adorn_v as_o a_o bride_n adorn_v for_o her_o husband_n which_o without_o all_o reason_n thereof_o follow_v viz._n because_o the_o lord_n god_n almighty_a and_o the_o lamb_n be_v the_o temple_n of_o it_o that_o be_v it_o do_v consist_v of_o saint_n in_o who_o the_o lamb_n christ_n be_v ever_o present_a as_o also_o in_o that_o he_o have_v open_v heaven_n in_o every_o place_n to_o faithful_a believer_n 4._o in_o that_o it_o be_v say_v to_o need_v no_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n or_o moon_n to_o shine_v in_o it_o be_v mean_v of_o ecclesiastical_a or_o civil_a government_n as_o now_o practise_v have_v its_o proper_a power_n and_o adornment_n in_o itself_o viz._n from_o christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n 5._o in_o that_o the_o nation_n which_o be_v save_v be_v say_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o light_n of_o it_o be_v mean_v that_o all_o such_o who_o be_v ordain_v to_o eternal_a life_n shall_v be_v conformable_a to_o the_o government_n of_o it_o in_o doctrine_n worship_n and_o discipline_n 6._o in_o that_o the_o nation_n be_v say_v to_o bring_v their_o glory_n and_o honour_n unto_o it_o be_v mean_v that_o the_o king_n and_o ruler_n of_o the_o earth_n shall_v hate_v antichrist_n in_o each_o of_o his_o hierarchy_n and_o destroy_v it_o in_o their_o dominion_n as_o merchandise_n which_o admission_n into_o the_o city_n do_v not_o make_v they_o freeman_n in_o regard_n they_o be_v not_o enrol_v in_o their_o record_n so_o in_o like_a manner_n albeit_o the_o man_n shall_v be_v teach_v of_o god_n 9_o in_o that_o it_o be_v say_v to_o run_v through_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o street_n of_o the_o city_n be_v mean_v that_o the_o aforesaid_a spirit_n shall_v be_v free_a for_o each_o member_n of_o the_o church_n to_o make_v use_n of_o as_o well_o one_o as_o other_o 10._o in_o that_o on_o each_o side_n of_o the_o river_n be_v say_v to_o grow_v a_o tree_n of_o life_n bear_v twelve_o manner_n of_o fruit_n and_o yield_v her_o fruit_n every_o month_n and_o the_o leaf_n be_v for_o the_o heal_n of_o the_o nation_n be_v mean_v that_o the_o gospel_n shall_v flourish_v and_o spread_v itself_o into_o all_o country_n by_o virtue_n whereof_o they_o shall_v be_v heal_v of_o the_o leprosy_n of_o antichristianisme_n judisme_n and_o heathenism_n thus_o have_v i_o brief_o discover_v unto_o you_o the_o new_a or_o spiritual_a jerusalem_n hope_v you_o will_v be_v willing_a in_o this_o day_n of_o christ_n power_n to_o give_v up_o yourselves_o as_o a_o antinomian_o universalians_n seeker_n etc._n etc._n and_o in_o so_o do_v have_v not_o your_o last_o estate_n be_v worse_o than_o your_o first_o again_o you_o may_v also_o be_v fit_o parallel_v with_o
