time_n of_o their_o sickness_n they_o be_v join_v in_o the_o comfort_n of_o death_n and_o now_o they_o be_v join_v in_o the_o glory_n of_o a_o everlasting_a life_n but_o the_o former_n rite_n be_v fly_v on_o to_o its_o period_n like_a and_o eagle_n to_o her_o stand_n cut_v its_o way_n through_o the_o vanity_n and_o vexation_n too_o of_o all_o thing_n else_o and_o not_o stay_v until_o it_o come_v to_o pitch_v and_o rest_v itself_o on_o a_o conclusion_n firm_a and_o stable_a even_o the_o fear_n and_o service_n of_o god_n which_o as_o it_o be_v our_o whole_a duty_n here_o so_o will_v prove_v our_o happiness_n eternal_a hereafter_o in_o that_o day_n when_o god_n shall_v bring_v every_o work_n into_o judgement_n with_o every_o secret_a thing_n whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o whether_o it_o be_v evil_a and_o this_o show_v it_o to_o be_v something_o more_o than_o a_o bare_a conclusion_n a_o material_a one_o of_o and_o to_o the_o matter_n indeed_o to_o that_o matter_n which_o of_o all_o other_o be_v most_o material_a let_v we_o hear_v the_o conclusion_n of_o the_o whole_a matter_n etc._n etc._n and_o that_o certain_o be_v one_o degree_n high_o and_o will_v require_v too_o a_o high_a degree_n of_o regard_n that_o it_o be_v not_o only_o a_o orderly_a conclusion_n but_o a_o material_a and_o important_a no_o curious_a idle_a frivolous_a dispute_n de_fw-fr lana_fw-la caprina_fw-la no_o thin_a empty_a hungry_a speculation_n of_o the_o school_n though_o these_o be_v the_o only_a conclusion_n the_o delicate_a ear_n of_o most_o man_n desire_v to_o be_v tickle_v withal_o such_o as_o may_v exercise_v the_o wit_n but_o no_o way_n affect_v the_o conscience_n and_o indeed_o it_o be_v a_o principal_a stratagem_n of_o the_o arch-enemy_n of_o mankind_n by_o curious_a impertinence_n to_o divert_v the_o mind_n from_o those_o real_a and_o necessary_a point_n that_o concern_v their_o soul_n and_o the_o welfare_n of_o they_o for_o ever_o a_o unhappiness_n whereof_o these_o latter_a time_n have_v sufficient_o taste_v the_o child_n of_o the_o church_n for_o these_o many_o year_n employ_v their_o wit_n in_o nothing_o so_o willing_o as_o in_o wrangle_v with_o their_o mother_n and_o that_o about_o trifle_n every_o light_a ceremony_n and_o almost_o circumstance_n that_o concern_v but_o the_o outward_a form_n of_o the_o external_a worship_n of_o god_n neglect_v in_o the_o mean_a time_n that_o which_o be_v indeed_o material_a the_o internal_a truth_n and_o substance_n of_o his_o service_n but_o to_o such_o wayward_a contentious_a spirit_n i_o shall_v now_o only_o say_v it_o be_v much_o better_o for_o they_o to_o leave_v such_o unprofitable_a dispute_n and_o betake_v themselves_o to_o
obedience_n and_o if_o they_o fear_v not_o god_n yet_o at_o least_o that_o they_o will_v honour_v the_o king_n reverence_v the_o church_n and_o keep_v the_o commandment_n of_o both_o for_o this_o be_v their_o duty_n too_o and_o this_o indeed_o will_v be_v to_o some_o purpose_n that_o so_o they_o may_v be_v at_o leisure_n to_o set_v their_o work_a head_n about_o some_o more_o pertinent_a question_n not_o about_o a_o cap_n or_o a_o surplice_n or_o the_o like_a but_o rather_o about_o such_o as_o be_v solid_a such_o as_o that_o in_o the_o gospel_n quid_fw-la faciendum_fw-la what_o shall_v i_o do_v that_o i_o may_v inherit_v eternal_a life_n and_o pursue_v it_o home_o not_o leave_v until_o they_o have_v bring_v it_o to_o solomon_n conclusion_n here_o fear_v god_n and_o keep_v his_o commandment_n the_o matter_n of_o this_o whole_a book_n yes_o of_o this_o and_o of_o all_o book_n else_o all_o divine_a book_n else_o whatsoever_o and_o so_o much_o we_o have_v here_o express_o in_o the_o inference_n of_o it_o of_o make_v many_o book_n there_o be_v no_o end_n and_o much_o study_n be_v a_o weariness_n of_o the_o flesh_n the_o verse_n immediate_o precedent_a and_o therefore_o that_o we_o may_v have_v all_o in_o little_a he_o infer_v this_o as_o brief_o include_v the_o whole_a matter_n not_o only_o of_o this_o and_o those_o book_n that_o be_v already_o write_v but_o of_o all_o such_o also_o as_o shall_v be_v ever_o write_v hereafter_o and_o sure_o all_o our_o discourse_n be_v but_o vain_a and_o empty_a if_o not_o impious_a at_o least_o they_o will_v conclude_v nothing_o to_o the_o purpose_n unless_o they_o draw_v all_o at_o length_n unto_o this_o conclusion_n which_o be_v every_o way_n total_a whether_o we_o regard_v knowledge_n or_o action_n for_o when_o we_o have_v embroil_v and_o weary_v ourselves_o in_o the_o pursuit_n of_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n it_o will_v be_v to_o no_o purpose_n no_o though_o they_o succeed_v according_a to_o our_o desire_n for_o what_o shall_v it_o profit_v a_o man_n to_o gain_v the_o whole_a world_n and_o enjoy_v it_o too_o for_o a_o season_n if_o when_o he_o have_v do_v he_o lose_v his_o own_o soul_n afterward_o for_o ever_o and_o so_o be_v they_o ever_o in_o who_o it_o have_v dominion_n and_o when_o it_o have_v not_o dominion_n yet_o because_o it_o have_v undoubted_o in_o all_o that_o be_v not_o perfect_a in_o love_n some_o great_a hold_n than_o it_o shall_v have_v that_o of_o our_o saviour_n be_v but_o just_a and_o for_o the_o most_o part_n seasonable_a unto_o all_o fear_v not_o those_o that_o can_v kill_v the_o body_n but_o fear_v he_o that_o can_v cast_v both_o body_n and_o soul_n into_o hell_n fire_n again_o if_o it_o look_v upon_o god_n and_o that_o hell_n which_o in_o his_o justice_n he_o have_v prepare_v for_o sinner_n as_o our_o saviour_n here_o command_v the_o fear_n indeed_o be_v then_o good_a because_o as_o you_o see_v command_v and_o beside_o be_v a_o act_n of_o faith_n and_o restrain_v from_o evil_a and_o therefore_o they_o that_o simple_o condemn_v it_o do_v but_o cut_v the_o bank_n and_o pluck_v up_o hatch_n the_o better_a to_o make_v way_n for_o a_o deluge_n of_o wickedness_n
