delusion_n fancy_n and_o imagination_n and_o if_o any_o one_o have_v the_o confidence_n to_o own_o the_o assistance_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n in_o the_o discharge_v of_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o gospel_n unto_o the_o edification_n of_o the_o church_n he_o become_v unto_o they_o a_o scorn_n and_o reproach_n these_o be_v branch_n cut_v off_o from_o the_o vine_n who_o man_n gather_v or_o those_o who_o miserable_a condition_n be_v describe_v by_o the_o apostle_n heb._n 6._o 4_o 5_o 6._o but_o one_o way_n or_o other_o these_o gift_n may_v be_v utter_o lose_v or_o take_v away_o from_o they_o who_o have_v once_o receive_v they_o and_o that_o whether_o they_o be_v ordinary_a or_o extraordinary_n there_o be_v no_o kind_n of_o they_o no_o degree_n of_o they_o that_o can_v give_v we_o any_o the_o use_n of_o all_o mean_n of_o holiness_n ordinary_o 2_o pet._n 1._o 5_o 6_o 7_o 8_o 9_o 10._o for_o beside_o that_o no_o man_n can_v have_v the_o least_o evidence_n of_o any_o thing_n of_o this_o grace_n in_o he_o if_o he_o be_v total_o negligent_a in_o its_o exercise_n and_o imyrovement_n so_o no_o man_n ought_v to_o expect_v that_o it_o will_v thrive_v or_o abound_v in_o he_o unless_o he_o constant_o and_o diligent_o attend_v unto_o it_o and_o give_v up_o himself_o in_o all_o thing_n to_o its_o conduct_n but_o yet_o as_o to_o the_o continuance_n of_o it_o in_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o elect_n as_o to_o the_o life_n and_o be_v of_o its_o principle_n and_o principal_a effect_n in_o habitual_a conformity_n unto_o god_n and_o his_o will_n it_o be_v secure_v in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n §_o 14_o sixthly_a on_o whosoever_o save_v grace_n be_v bestow_v it_o be_v so_o first_o and_o principal_o for_o himself_o and_o his_o own_o good_n it_o be_v a_o fruit_n of_o the_o especial_a
