knowledge_n aforesaid_a i_o say_v such_o man_n as_o those_o may_v be_v say_v to_o add_v unto_o the_o word_n of_o the_o prophecy_n of_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o to_o the_o whole_a book_n of_o the_o scripture_n for_o all_o man_n that_o do_v undertake_v to_o be_v minister_n and_o preacher_n of_o christ_n without_o a_o commission_n from_o he_o they_o not_o be_v send_v by_o he_o these_o man_n only_o be_v those_o that_o do_v add_v unto_o the_o prophecy_n of_o this_o book_n that_o be_v they_o add_v their_o own_o vain_a thought_n and_o conceiving_n of_o their_o own_o imagination_n unto_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n so_o that_o in_o stead_n of_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o scripture_n the_o people_n have_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o preacher_n thought_n and_o conceiving_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o so_o be_v altogether_o unsatisfied_a in_o their_o spirit_n and_o these_o be_v those_o man_n that_o do_v add_v unto_o the_o prophecy_n of_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n and_o to_o the_o book_n of_o the_o scripture_n so_o in_o like_a manner_n will_v god_n add_v unto_o he_o or_o they_o the_o plague_n that_o be_v write_v in_o this_o book_n now_o what_o these_o plague_n be_v they_o be_v speak_v of_o in_o this_o book_n the_o plague_n that_o shall_v be_v add_v unto_o they_o be_v spiritual_a that_o be_v to_o say_v spiritual_a darkness_n upon_o the_o mind_n here_o and_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o second_o death_n so_o that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n shall_v possess_v the_o second_o death_n which_o shall_v burn_v as_o a_o lake_n of_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n in_o utter_a darkness_n where_o be_v weep_v and_o gnash_n of_o tooth_n to_o eternity_n these_o be_v those_o spiritual_a plague_n that_o god_n will_v add_v to_o all_o those_o man_n that_o go_v to_o be_v preacher_n of_o his_o gospel_n and_o be_v not_o send_v by_o he_o for_o they_o only_o do_v add_v unto_o the_o prophecy_n of_o this_o book_n so_o that_o the_o reader_n may_v see_v what_o a_o dangerous_a thing_n it_o be_v for_o a_o man_n to_o take_v upon_o he_o to_o prophesy_v preach_v or_o teach_v as_o a_o messenger_n of_o christ_n without_o a_o commission_n from_o he_o for_o who_o ever_o do_v so_o he_o do_v add_v his_o own_o vain_a thought_n and_o imagination_n in_o the_o scripture_n of_o those_o heavenly_a secret_n mystery_n and_o vision_n declare_v by_o holy_a man_n who_o be_v inspire_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n or_o the_o revelation_n of_o faith_n to_o write_v those_o thing_n aforesaid_a yet_o man_n by_o their_o own_o imagination_n by_o the_o gift_n of_o learning_n and_o by_o the_o natural_a wisdom_n of_o reason_n will_v undertake_v to_o interpret_v scripture_n and_o to_o be_v preacher_n to_o other_o without_o a_o commission_n from_o god_n and_o without_o any_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o so_o these_o man_n do_v come_v to_o add_v other_o interpretation_n of_o their_o own_o conceiving_n unto_o the_o scripture_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o mind_n of_o that_o spirit_n that_o write_v they_o and_o so_o they_o become_v capable_a to_o receive_v of_o those_o plague_n that_o be_v write_v in_o this_o book_n as_o aforesaid_a chap._n lxxxii_o also_o i_o will_v have_v the_o reader_n to_o know_v that_o the_o same_o man_n that_o do_v add_v their_o conceiving_n unto_o this_o book_n the_o same_o sort_n of_o man_n do_v take_v away_o from_o the_o word_n of_o this_o book_n of_o this_o prophecy_n they_o may_v be_v say_v to_o take_v away_o from_o it_o in_o that_o they_o will_v not_o suffer_v any_o true_a interpreter_n to_o expound_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n of_o the_o prophecy_n of_o that_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n or_o any_o other_o scripture_n only_o this_o some_o man_n mind_n be_v act_v out_o one_o way_n and_o some_o another_o some_o man_n so_o they_o may_v be_v suffer_v to_o speak_v their_o own_o fantasy_n upon_o the_o scripture_n so_o as_o to_o please_v themselves_o and_o their_o hearer_n that_o be_v they_o care_v not_o how_o much_o they_o add_v to_o this_o book_n not_o mind_v to_o take_v any_o thing_n from_o it_o it_o be_v not_o their_o principle_n to_o take_v any_o thing_n from_o the_o scripture_n but_o their_o delight_n be_v altogether_o to_o add_v their_o vain_a conception_n conceive_v the_o meaning_n thus_o and_o thus_o but_o he_o that_o take_v away_o from_o this_o book_n be_v such_o a_o one_o that_o will_v not_o suffer_v the_o true_a interpretation_n of_o the_o scripture_n nor_o of_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n because_o the_o true_a interpretation_n of_o the_o scripture_n overthrow_v all_o the_o principle_n of_o religion_n in_o the_o world_n so_o that_o if_o truth_n shall_v be_v suffer_v to_o have_v freedom_n in_o the_o world_n than_o all_o the_o old_a principle_n of_o religion_n that_o have_v be_v receive_v in_o the_o world_n so_o many_o hundred_o year_n by_o the_o pope_n and_o other_o they_o will_v quite_o fall_v to_o the_o ground_n so_o that_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v a_o number_n of_o man_n to_o add_v unto_o this_o book_n and_o a_o number_n of_o man_n to_o take_v away_o from_o it_o for_o true_a revelation_n always_o have_v some_o to_o add_v to_o it_o and_o some_o to_o take_v from_o it_o so_o that_o he_o that_o take_v from_o it_o god_n will_v take_v his_o part_n out_o of_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o out_o of_o the_o holy_a city_n and_o from_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v write_v in_o this_o book_n the_o meaning_n be_v this_o that_o as_o they_o will_v not_o suffer_v no_o true_a interpretation_n of_o the_o scripture_n to_o abide_v in_o the_o world_n but_o will_v take_v it_o quite_o away_o both_o the_o interpretation_n and_o the_o interpreter_n also_o so_o in_o like_a manner_n god_n will_v take_v his_o part_n out_o of_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o out_o of_o the_o holy_a city_n so_o that_o he_o shall_v have_v no_o part_n in_o that_o glory_n and_o everlasting_a life_n which_o be_v write_v of_o in_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n that_o be_v he_o think_v by_o take_v away_o from_o the_o word_n of_o this_o book_n that_o be_v by_o his_o persecute_v the_o true_a interpretation_n of_o it_o that_o he_o do_v god_n good_a service_n even_o as_o he_o do_v that_o add_v to_o it_o for_o he_o that_o add_v unto_o it_o as_o aforesaid_a do_v think_v he_o do_v god_n good_a service_n so_o in_o like_a manner_n he_o that_o take_v from_o it_o as_o aforesaid_a that_o persecute_v true_a revelation_n and_o true_a interpretation_n he_o do_v think_v he_o do_v god_n good_a service_n in_o so_o do_v and_o so_o he_o think_v to_o have_v a_o part_n in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o to_o be_v one_o of_o the_o member_n of_o the_o holy_a city_n and_o to_o have_v a_o right_n to_o that_o glory_n and_o happiness_n that_o be_v write_v in_o this_o book_n when_o as_o alas_o alas_o he_o be_v one_o of_o they_o that_o have_v take_v away_o from_o the_o prophecy_n of_o this_o book_n by_o persecute_v the_o true_a interpretation_n of_o it_o so_o that_o god_n have_v take_v away_o that_o part_n he_o think_v he_o have_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o that_o confidence_n he_o have_v in_o be_v a_o member_n of_o the_o holy_a city_n and_o of_o the_o glory_n hereafter_o i_o say_v all_o these_o thing_n will_v god_n take_v away_o from_o those_o man_n that_o do_v take_v away_o from_o the_o word_n of_o the_o prophecy_n of_o this_o book_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o more_o especial_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n of_o saint_n john_n this_o be_v the_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o add_v and_o take_v away_o from_o this_o book_n of_o john_n revelation_n oh_o where_o be_v there_o a_o man_n hardly_o to_o be_v find_v but_o he_o be_v guilty_a of_o that_o be_v choose_v and_o send_v of_o god_n as_o moses_n and_o aaron_n peter_n and_o paul_n and_o we_o the_o witness_n of_o the_o spirit_n also_o none_o can_v interpret_v the_o scripture_n true_o but_o those_o that_o have_v the_o same_o spirit_n as_o those_o have_v that_o speak_v the_o scripture_n that_o spirit_n can_v trace_v the_o step_n of_o god_n almighty_n in_o those_o three_o path_n which_o god_n have_v walk_v in_o those_o three_o parth_n be_v god_n three_o commission_n or_o three_o record_n on_o earth_n to_o wit_n the_o water_n blood_n and_o spirit_n so_o that_o no_o commissionated_a man_n of_o god_n can_v be_v say_v either_o to_o add_v to_o or_o diminish_v from_o the_o word_n of_o god_n for_o he_o be_v choose_v of_o god_n to_o reveal_v the_o mystery_n of_o the_o kingdom_n unto_o his_o choose_a one_o which_o mystery_n be_v hide_v in_o that_o letter_n so_o that_o the_o messenger_n of_o god_n they_o shall_v be_v punish_v of_o god_n if_o they_o will_v not_o go_v forth_o to_o declare_v the_o mystery_n of_o his_o kingdom_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a if_o man_n go_v &_o be_v not_o send_v of_o god_n they_o be_v punish_v of_o god_n for_o go_v before_o they_o be_v send_v and_o in_o go_v before_o they_o be_v send_v they_o do_v add_v and_o take_v away_o from_o the_o scripture_n and_o from_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n for_o they_o be_v not_o choose_v nor_o send_v of_o god_n they_o do_v not_o know_v the_o true_a meaning_n of_o the_o scripture_n so_o they_o not_o know_v the_o truth_n of_o they_o they_o add_v their_o own_o conceit_n and_o sense_n upon_o they_o and_o diminish_v and_o take_v away_o the_o true_a interpreter_n by_o persecution_n and_o will_v not_o suffer_v it_o to_o abide_v in_o the_o world_n lâ—st_v their_o own_o principle_n when_o they_o have_v hear_v the_o interpretation_n of_o scripture_n with_o many_o deep_a secret_n open_v and_o many_o heavenly_a mystery_n reveal_v which_o never_o be_v reveal_v before_o or_o that_o have_v not_o be_v common_o know_v among_o religious_a people_n they_o have_v seem_v hard_a say_n so_o that_o man_n have_v cry_v out_o o_o blasphemy_n or_o else_o say_v i_o have_v add_v to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n or_o if_o the_o interpretation_n do_v differ_v from_o the_o common_a receive_v opinion_n or_o interpretation_n then_o they_o will_v say_v i_o take_v away_o from_o the_o word_n of_o god_n yet_o they_o know_v not_o what_o it_o be_v to_o add_v or_o to_o take_v away_o from_o it_o therefore_o i_o have_v open_v these_o two_o verse_n in_o the_o last_o chapter_n and_o the_o last_o john_n revelation_n open_v and_o interpret_v so_o that_o who_o ever_o do_v true_o understand_v the_o interpretation_n of_o they_o may_v receive_v much_o satisfaction_n as_o to_o discourse_v in_o the_o scripture_n language_n with_o any_o learned_a man_n in_o the_o world_n that_o speak_v the_o english_a tongue_n and_o not_o only_o so_o but_o much_o satisfaction_n will_v arise_v from_o the_o true_a understanding_n of_o it_o to_o their_o eternal_a peace_n joy_n and_o glory_n hereafter_o and_o though_o i_o have_v thought_n as_o aforesaid_a to_o write_v no_o more_o book_n after_o the_o 〈◊〉_d be_v a_o spiritual_a substance_n a_o body_n in_o form_n like_o a_o man_n but_o no_o flesh_n blood_n and_o bone_n this_o god_n be_v when_o he_o create_v man_n and_o all_o thing_n else_o but_o when_o god_n become_v flesh_n he_o be_v in_o another_o condition_n he_o now_o have_v flesh_n blood_n and_o bone_n that_o he_o may_v work_v a_o redemption_n to_o the_o seed_n of_o adam_n to_o a_o more_o excellent_a condition_n then_o that_o be_v wherein_o he_o be_v create_v and_o a_o more_o miserable_a condition_n to_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o serpent_n than_o he_o be_v create_v in_o and_o this_o i_o will_v have_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n to_o understand_v that_o the_o same_o god_n which_o create_v man_n i_o say_v the_o same_o god_n redeem_v man_n which_o thing_n be_v two_o proper_a and_o distinct_a work_n for_o one_o and_o the_o same_o god_n to_o do_v therefore_o distinguish_v by_o two_o several_a denomination_n of_o father_n and_o son_n neither_o be_v it_o proper_a for_o god_n after_o he_o become_v flesh_n to_o create_v any_o thing_n neither_o can_v god_n have_v redeem_v mankind_n to_o a_o eternal_a happiness_n but_o by_o his_o become_a flesh_n neither_o can_v any_o serpent_n or_o devil_n have_v put_v god_n to_o death_n if_o god_n have_v not_o take_v upon_o he_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n for_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n clothes_n itself_o with_o flesh_n blood_n and_o bone_n and_o so_o be_v make_v capable_a to_o be_v put_v to_o death_n by_o the_o seed_n and_o nature_n of_o reason_n which_o be_v the_o serpent_n or_o devil_n but_o i_o shall_v speak_v more_o of_o god_n death_n hereafter_o only_o this_o i_o will_v have_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n to_o mind_n that_o twofold_a condition_n of_o god_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o then_o you_o will_v not_o stumble_v at_o john_n say_v that_o he_o do_v suffer_v for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o for_o the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n christ_n as_o if_o they_o have_v be_v two_o distinct_a thing_n and_o so_o he_o do_v in_o some_o other_o place_n in_o this_o book_n of_o the_o revelation_n as_o in_o the_o first_o chapter_n verse_n 5_o he_o say_v and_o from_o jesus_n christ_n who_o be_v the_o faithful_a witness_n etc._n etc._n which_o do_v intimate_v to_o the_o seed_n of_o reason_n as_o if_o there_o be_v two_o go_n but_o i_o declare_v it_o be_v speak_v with_o relation_n to_o god_n twofold_a condition_n that_o scripture_n under_o nomination_n of_o father_n and_o son_n therefore_o i_o will_v willing_o have_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n to_o understand_v the_o twofold_a condition_n of_o god_n and_o then_o the_o scripture_n which_o do_v seem_v to_o contradict_v one_o the_o other_o will_v be_v reconcile_v in_o one_o and_o so_o there_o will_v be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o peace_n arise_v from_o the_o right_a understanding_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o the_o cause_n why_o where_o be_v so_o much_o dissatisfaction_n in_o read_v the_o scripture_n by_o the_o professor_n now_o adays_o it_o be_v because_o they_o understand_v they_o not_o this_o i_o know_v by_o experience_n but_o as_o i_o say_v before_o as_o there_o be_v a_o twofold_a state_n in_o one_o god_n so_o likewise_o there_o be_v two_o lords-day_n as_o aforesaid_a yet_o but_o one_o god_n but_o the_o meaning_n of_o john_n when_o he_o say_v he_o be_v in_o the_o spirit_n on_o the_o lord_n day_n i_o declare_v his_o meaning_n be_v the_o day_n of_o christ_n resurrection_n and_o this_o he_o call_v the_o lordsday_n that_o be_v it_o be_v the_o day_n of_o god_n rise_v from_o death_n to_o life_n in_o that_o death_n be_v not_o able_a to_o keep_v he_o under_o for_o death_n do_v keep_v every_o creature_n under_o it_o neither_o can_v any_o creature_n nor_o son_n of_o god_n overcome_v death_n but_o god_n himself_o therefore_o christ_n must_v needs_o be_v god_n the_o father_n of_o all_o life_n in_o that_o he_o give_v life_n to_o all_o creature_n in_o his_o creation_n and_o nothing_o can_v procure_v by_o his_o death_n a_o resurrection_n of_o a_o new_a life_n and_o a_o eternal_a redemption_n but_o the_o blood_n and_o death_n of_o god_n himself_o therefore_o let_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n lie_v as_o much_o trust_n upon_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n believe_v it_o to_o be_v the_o blood_n of_o god_n as_o they_o can_v the_o more_o weight_n they_o lie_v upon_o it_o the_o more_o peace_n and_o satisfaction_n they_o shall_v find_v so_o on_o the_o contrary_a those_o that_o deny_v and_o call_v it_o blasphemy_n for_o a_o man_n to_o say_v that_o god_n do_v die_v i_o say_v there_o be_v no_o salvation_n for_o such_o a_o man_n neither_o will_v he_o find_v any_o benefit_n by_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n because_o he_o look_v upon_o it_o to_o be_v but_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o humane_a nature_n or_o the_o blood_n so_o full_a of_o spiritual_a wickedness_n or_o spiritual_a fornication_n and_o persecution_n for_o conscience_n sake_n as_o aforesaid_a that_o their_o wickedness_n do_v overflow_v even_o as_o the_o aforesaid_a babylon_n do_v so_o that_o in_o the_o account_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o faith_n this_o spiritual_a babylon_n be_v as_o real_o destroy_v and_o reap_v their_o sin_n be_v ripe_a as_o the_o other_o babylon_n be_v and_o as_o the_o sickle_n be_v thrust_v into_o they_o that_o they_o be_v destroy_v and_o reap_v so_o will_v it_o be_v with_o this_o as_o in_o the_o nineteenth_o verse_n of_o commission_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o his_o apostle_n and_o as_o moses_n pour_v out_o that_o plague_n of_o turn_v the_o natural_a river_n and_o fountain_n of_o water_n of_o egypt_n to_o blood_n at_o the_o first_o come_v into_o his_o commission_n of_o the_o law_n so_o likewise_o will_v christ_n pour_v out_o his_o vial_n of_o wrath_n upon_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n and_o woman_n and_o turn_v the_o water_n of_o their_o soul_n to_o blood_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o this_o will_v be_v execute_v at_o the_o latter_a end_n of_o the_o world_n which_o end_n will_v be_v as_o certain_a as_o the_o
