sufficient_a it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v a_o marriage_n garment_n but_o we_o must_v have_v it_o on_o and_o make_v clean_a and_o handsome_a if_o we_o will_v honour_v the_o wedding_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v faith_n and_o knowledge_n and_o love_n and_o obedience_n etc._n etc._n in_o the_o habit_n but_o we_o must_v have_v they_o in_o the_o exercise_n what_o good_a will_v they_o do_v we_o if_o we_o use_v they_o not_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v lamp_n in_o our_o hand_n yea_o and_o oil_n in_o our_o vessel_n though_o most_o go_v without_o but_o we_o must_v have_v our_o lamp_n always_o burn_v we_o must_v rise_v and_o trim_v our_o lamp_n when_o we_o go_v to_o meet_v the_o bridegroom_n christ_n in_o such_o a_o duty_n we_o must_v snuff_v our_o candle_n that_o they_o may_v burn_v bright_a it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o a_o musician_n to_o have_v a_o instrument_n but_o he_o must_v have_v it_o in_o tune_n or_o it_o will_v yield_v bad_a music_n nay_o he_o must_v have_v skill_n to_o use_v it_o or_o it_o will_v not_o do_v nay_o he_o must_v be_v in_o a_o capacity_n to_o make_v use_n of_o his_o skill_n which_o be_v not_o if_o his_o hand_n be_v cold_a or_o numb_v or_o otherwise_o out_o of_o order_n the_o soul_n music_n be_v quick_o spoil_v if_o it_o be_v out_o of_o tune_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o a_o carpenter_n or_o joyner_n to_o have_v tool_n and_o matter_n to_o work_v upon_o but_o he_o must_v often_o by_o grind_v or_o whet_v put_v a_o edge_n upon_o they_o or_o they_o be_v not_o fit_a for_o his_o purpose_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v household_n stuff_n in_o abundance_n but_o it_o must_v be_v set_v in_o order_n not_o on_o a_o confuse_a heap_n yea_o and_o scour_v and_o make_v bright_a if_o we_o will_v use_v they_o to_o adorn_v the_o house_n and_o in_o like_a manner_n it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o a_o christian_n to_o have_v the_o forementioned_a habit_n and_o qualification_n but_o he_o must_v reduce_v they_o into_o art_n and_o exercise_n he_o must_v scour_v they_o up_o against_o such_o a_o good_a time_n as_o this_o and_o rub_v off_o the_o rust_n and_o make_v they_o fit_a for_o use_v yea_o make_v use_n of_o they_o for_o to_o this_o end_n they_o be_v give_v and_o a_o christian_n notwitstand_v the_o habit_n may_v and_o will_v be_v a_o unworthy_a receiver_n if_o they_o be_v not_o in_o exercise_n it_o be_v necessary_a that_o some_o vital_a operation_n cooperate_v to_o the_o receive_v digest_v and_o concoct_v our_o meat_n or_o it_o will_v not_o nourish_v and_o so_o that_o this_o spiritual_a food_n may_v prove_v refresh_v to_o the_o soul_n it_o be_v necessary_a that_o there_o be_v a_o principle_n of_o spiritual_a life_n and_o the_o act_n of_o grace_n concur_v with_o the_o receive_v and_o digest_v of_o it_o a_o godly_a man_n may_v sometime_o be_v in_o a_o apoplexy_n and_o have_v a_o stupify_v soul_n and_o a_o benumb_a conscience_n he_o may_v have_v his_o swoon_a fit_n when_o life_n be_v scarce_o discern_v to_o appear_v it_o may_v seem_v david_n sometime_o be_v in_o this_o condition_n or_o some_o other_o great_a distemper_n now_o you_o know_v though_o there_o be_v life_n yet_o in_o such_o case_n it_o be_v not_o safe_a to_o give_v food_n stir_v up_o therefore_o thy_o grace_n and_o get_v they_o in_o exercise_n it_o be_v the_o best_a way_n to_o procure_v heat_n and_o digestion_n
