but_o it_o be_v good_a to_o avoid_v both_o these_o extreme_n whence_o come_v that_o impatiency_n in_o we_o to_o bear_v any_o evil_n in_o a_o church_n whence_o be_v it_o that_o we_o uncharitable_o rend_v from_o it_o be_v it_o not_o because_o we_o do_v not_o consider_v it_o may_v be_v a_o true_a church_n and_o salvation_n be_v there_o to_o be_v have_v yea_o conversion_n and_o regeneration_n though_o there_o be_v many_o thing_n to_o be_v reform_v there_o be_v no_o church_n so_o pure_a but_o that_o there_o be_v some_o imperfection_n in_o it_o no_o church_n so_o reform_v but_o in_o some_o thing_n it_o need_v a_o reformation_n thou_o may_v go_v from_o church_n to_o church_n and_o be_v like_o noah_n dove_n not_o know_v where_o to_o set_v thy_o foot_n if_o thou_o look_v for_o absolute_a perfection_n in_o any_o church_n whether_o thou_o go_v as_o there_o be_v no_o constitution_n of_o the_o body_n which_o have_v a_o exact_a temperament_n ad_fw-la pondus_fw-la but_o some_o humour_n or_o other_o do_v predominate_a so_o there_o be_v no_o church_n that_o be_v of_o such_o a_o perfect_a frame_n but_o it_o have_v its_o several_a grievance_n and_o though_o it_o may_v be_v free_v from_o those_o evil_n they_o separate_v from_o yet_o they_o may_v be_v assault_v with_o other_o that_o be_v as_o destructive_a of_o a_o church_n in_o a_o contrary_a way_n though_o free_v from_o tyranny_n yet_o not_o from_o division_n and_o daily_a subdivision_n among_o themselves_o so_o that_o in_o these_o thing_n we_o be_v diligent_o to_o make_v the_o scripture_n our_o rule_n three_o though_o that_o church_n be_v a_o true_a church_n where_o we_o live_v yet_o if_o many_o corruption_n do_v abound_v therein_o we_o must_v take_v heed_n that_o we_o do_v not_o pollute_v ourselves_o thereby_o or_o become_v partaker_n of_o any_o sin_n indulge_v among_o they_o as_o we_o may_v not_o sinful_o separate_v upon_o this_o ground_n because_o they_o be_v no_o church_n so_o neither_o may_v we_o continue_v so_o as_o to_o pollute_v and_o defile_v ourselves_o with_o any_o know_a sin_n the_o apostle_n exhortation_n to_o the_o corinthian_n under_o these_o manifold_a pollution_n be_v that_o every_o one_o great_o corrupt_v and_o first_o it_o may_v be_v see_v from_o the_o induction_n of_o several_a church_n as_o for_o example_n the_o church_n of_o the_o jew_n they_o be_v god_n people_n and_o god_n do_v own_v they_o as_o he_o yet_o as_o appear_v by_o the_o prophet_n complaint_n and_o daily_a reproof_n they_o be_v full_a of_o idolatry_n and_o all_o moral_a impiety_n and_o for_o all_o this_o there_o say_v that_o be_v in_o the_o old_a testament_n when_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v not_o pour_v out_o so_o effectual_o consider_v then_o beside_o this_o church_n of_o corinth_n the_o church_n of_o galatia_n be_v not_o they_o far_o infect_v with_o doctrinal_a pollution_n and_o vicious_a lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n that_o the_o apostle_n mention_v not_o any_o where_o such_o zeal_n and_o sharpness_n as_o he_o do_v to_o they_o threaten_v they_o with_o apostasy_n
fancy_n and_o opinion_n make_v such_o a_o grace_n as_o we_o will_v have_v and_o then_o go_v to_o the_o scripture_n to_o confirm_v it_o but_o the_o word_n of_o god_n must_v be_v the_o alone_a rule_n in_o this_o case_n so_o that_o by_o the_o scripture_n alone_o we_o shall_v not_o give_v too_o little_a nor_o on_o the_o other_o side_n attribute_v too_o much_o to_o it_o make_v god_n grace_n to_o be_v such_o a_o thing_n not_o indeed_o as_o it_o be_v but_o such_o as_o we_o will_v have_v it_o be_v good_a therefore_o to_o attend_v to_o the_o scripture_n and_o to_o lay_v all_o our_o own_o thought_n whereas_o it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o work_n of_o grace_n can_v be_v oppose_v to_o grace_n because_o they_o flow_v from_o it_o they_o be_v effect_n of_o it_o it_o be_v answer_v that_o work_v of_o grace_n can_v indeed_o be_v oppose_v to_o that_o principle_n of_o grace_n within_o we_o from_o whence_o they_o be_v say_v to_o flow_v but_o they_o be_v oppose_v to_o that_o grace_n which_o be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o they_o viz._n justification_n and_o remission_n of_o sin_n so_o that_o though_o work_v of_o grace_n do_v not_o oppose_v internal_a renovation_n yet_o they_o do_v justification_n which_o they_o say_v be_v produce_v by_o they_o again_o whereas_o they_o say_v that_o none_o extol_v grace_n more_o than_o they_o do_v because_o they_o make_v grace_n inherent_a to_o make_v we_o accept_v of_o with_o god_n whereas_o the_o protestant_n debate_v it_o deny_v it_o this_o noble_a work_n for_o say_v they_o will_v not_o grace_n be_v most_o advance_v in_o heaven_n when_o we_o shall_v be_v justify_v by_o that_o perfection_n of_o holiness_n which_o be_v within_o we_o but_o to_o this_o also_o it_o be_v answer_v that_o its_o impute_a grace_n which_o be_v evangelical_n grace_n and_o that_o we_o be_v to_o exalt_v in_o this_o life_n in_o heaven_n indeed_o this_o evangelical_n and_o impute_a grace_n will_v cease_v though_o all_o glory_n will_v be_v give_v to_o that_o because_o by_o it_o we_o be_v bring_v to_o perfect_a inherent_a grace_n last_o the_o scripture-grace_n though_o it_o be_v not_o for_o good_a duty_n yet_o do_v always_o require_v the_o study_n of_o they_o and_o diligent_a attend_v thereunto_o so_o that_o as_o we_o must_v not_o with_o the_o papist_n make_v our_o duty_n thrust_v out_o grace_n so_o neither_o must_v we_o with_o the_o antinomian_o make_v grace_n to_o thrust_v out_o duty_n for_o both_o these_o do_v consist_v together_o therefore_o as_o the_o scripture_n speak_v of_o god_n grace_n so_o it_o do_v also_o of_o those_o holy_a duty_n
