which_o be_v several_a text_n of_o scripture_n that_o we_o be_v command_v to_o say_v but_o even_o all_o must_v be_v confess_v as_o the_o divine_a worship_n of_o god_n notwithstanding_o those_o absurdity_n contain_v therein_o which_o because_o they_o be_v at_o large_a discover_v by_o other_o i_o omit_v the_o rehearsal_n of_o they_o again_o though_o a_o man_n be_v willing_a to_o live_v that_o scripture_n which_o command_v that_o the_o church_n shall_v turn_v away_o from_o such_o as_o have_v a_o form_n of_o goaliness_n but_o deny_v the_o power_n thereof_o 2_o tim._n 3._o 5._o and_o if_o i_o shall_v say_v that_o man_n that_o do_v these_o thing_n aforesaid_a do_v advance_v a_o form_n of_o prayer_n of_o other_o man_n make_v above_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n it_o will_v not_o take_v long_a time_n to_o prove_v it_o for_o he_o that_o advance_v the_o book_n of_o common-prayer_n above_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n he_o do_v advance_v a_o form_n of_o man_n make_v above_o it_o but_o this_o do_v all_o those_o who_o banish_v or_o desire_v to_o banish_v they_o that_o pray_v with_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n while_o they_o hug_v and_o embrace_v they_o that_o pray_v by_o that_o form_n only_o and_o that_o because_o they_o do_v it_o therefore_o they_o love_v and_o advance_v the_o form_n of_o their_o own_o or_o other_o invent_v before_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n which_o be_v god_n special_a and_o gracious_a appointment_n if_o you_o desire_v the_o clear_n of_o the_o minor_a look_v into_o the_o goal_n in_o england_n and_o into_o the_o alehouse_n of_o the_o same_o and_o i_o believe_v you_o will_v find_v those_o that_o plead_v for_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n in_o the_o goal_n and_o they_o that_o look_v after_o the_o form_n of_o man_n invention_n only_o in_o the_o alehouse_n it_o be_v evident_a also_o by_o the_o silence_v of_o god_n dear_a minister_n though_o never_o so_o powerful_o enable_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n if_o they_o in_o conscience_n can_v admit_v of_o that_o form_n of_o common-prayer_n if_o this_o be_v not_o a_o exalt_v the_o common-prayer-book_n above_o either_o pray_n by_o the_o spirit_n or_o preach_v the_o word_n i_o have_v take_v my_o mark_n amiss_o it_o be_v not_o pleasant_a for_o i_o to_o dwell_v on_o this_o the_o lord_n in_o mercy_n turn_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o people_n to_o seek_v more_o after_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n and_o in_o the_o strength_n of_o that_o to_o pour_v out_o their_o soul_n before_o the_o lord_n only_o let_v i_o say_v it_o be_v a_o sad_a sign_n that_o that_o which_o be_v one_o of_o the_o most_o eminent_a part_n of_o the_o pretend_a worship_n of_o god_n be_v antichristian_a when_o it_o have_v nothing_o but_o tradition_n of_o man_n and_o the_o strength_n of_o persecution_n to_o uphold_v or_o plead_v for_o it_o the_o conclusion_n i_o shall_v conclude_v this_o discourse_n with_o this_o word_n of_o advice_n to_o all_o god_n people_n i._o believe_v that_o as_o sure_a as_o
