righteousness_n and_o noâ—_n in_o any_o other_o respect_n then_o be_v it_o most_o certain_a that_o it_o do_v not_o justify_v unless_o it_o be_v such_o a_o faith_n as_o do_v apprehend_v the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n and_o apply_v the_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o ourselves_o we_o must_v therefore_o learn_v to_o apply_v the_o promise_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o ourselves_o which_o we_o may_v do_v after_o this_o manner_n be_v this_o true_a as_o i_o acknowledge_v it_o to_o be_v the_o word_n of_o truth_n that_o although_o i_o be_o by_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o law_n the_o righteousness_n of_o his_o son_n and_o second_o resolve_v in_o my_o mind_n to_o acknowledge_v he_o to_o be_v my_o only_a saviour_n and_o to_o rest_v upon_o he_o alone_o for_o my_o salvation_n be_v persuade_v that_o he_o die_v for_o my_o sin_n and_o rise_v again_o for_o my_o justification_n thus_o by_o application_n the_o euangelical_n faith_n become_v effectual_a to_o unite_v we_o unto_o christ_n and_o to_o justify_v we_o before_o god_n but_o as_o our_o faith_n must_v be_v effectual_a in_o apprehend_v christ_n the_o object_n thereof_o unto_o justification_n so_o must_v it_o be_v in_o some_o measure_n effectual_a in_o the_o subject_n that_o be_v the_o believer_n unto_o sanctification_n for_o true_a faith_n inward_o purge_v the_o hart_n 9_o and_o outward_o work_v by_o love_n foâ—_n delight_n or_o commodity_n do_v faâ—e_a and_o forsake_v we_o that_o our_o work_n do_v follow_v with_o we_o to_o our_o â—all_n comfort_n which_o shall_v make_v we_o to_o esteem_v the_o keep_n of_o faith_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n above_o all_o the_o thing_n of_o this_o world_n now_o what_o this_o reward_n be_v which_o god_n have_v prepare_v for_o these_o that_o die_v in_o christ_n though_o neither_o the_o eye_n have_v see_v 9_o nor_o the_o ear_n hear_v nor_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n conceive_v yet_o thus_o much_o we_o may_v gather_v out_o of_o the_o scripture_n that_o it_o shall_v
