that_o there_o be_v a_o place_n prepare_v for_o they_o where_o they_o shall_v rest_v with_o christ_n himself_o and_o fare_v even_o as_o he_o himself_o do_v it_o be_v comfortable_a as_o to_o present_a desertion_n and_o as_o to_o god_n withdraw_a of_o himself_o from_o his_o people_n and_o seem_v as_o a_o stranger_n to_o they_o that_o there_o will_v a_o time_n one_o day_n come_v when_o they_o shall_v meet_v so_o together_o as_o never_o to_o be_v separate_v from_o each_o other_o they_o shall_v ever_o be_v with_o the_o lord_n and_o he_o also_o ever_o with_o they_o so_o likewise_o as_o to_o the_o thought_n of_o death_n and_o dissolution_n it_o be_v comfortable_a here_o also_o that_o though_o body_n and_o soul_n be_v divide_v and_o sever_v from_o each_o other_o for_o a_o time_n yet_o they_o 16.9_o now_o thus_o it_o shall_v be_v with_o preach_v which_o be_v a_o special_a conveyance_n of_o the_o spirit_n the_o work_n of_o this_o be_v not_o to_o soothe_v man_n up_o to_o flatter_v they_o interest_n in_o any_o outward_a and_o worldly_a blessing_n be_v belong_v unto_o they_o it_o be_v true_a that_o they_o can_v absolute_o and_o peremptory_o conclude_v upon_o it_o no_o more_o than_o upon_o any_o other_o outward_a comfort_n of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o it_o for_o all_o thing_n fall_v alike_o unto_o all_o here_o in_o this_o life_n to_o the_o good_a and_o to_o the_o bad_a to_o of_o two_o thing_n more_o first_o the_o thing_n itself_o simple_o and_o absolute_o propound_v second_o the_o apostle_n acknowledgement_n and_o manifestation_n of_o it_o in_o the_o reflection_n the_o thing_n itself_o that_o god_n have_v deliver_v he_o his_o acknowledgement_n in_o that_o he_o bless_v god_n for_o it_o and_o make_v mention_n of_o it_o here_o to_o the_o corinthian_n first_o for_o the_o thing_n itself_o this_o be_v that_o which_o we_o may_v here_o observe_v how_o ready_a god_n be_v to_o deliver_v his_o people_n from_o death_n and_o from_o great_a death_n that_o which_o the_o and_o deliver_v it_o be_v a_o sign_n he_o be_v no_o sceptic_a in_o his_o religion_n nor_o yet_o in_o his_o ministry_n but_o be_v well_o assure_v of_o that_o which_o he_o both_o belived_a and_o embrace_v himself_o as_o also_o preach_v and_o commend_v to_o other_o those_o thing_n whichman_n be_v doubtful_a of_o they_o think_v it_o be_v enough_o to_o speak_v but_o once_o and_o hardly_o that_o it_o stick_v for_o the_o most_o part_n in_o their_o tooth_n and_o come_v difficult_o from_o they_o they_o do_v but_o whisper_v it_o or_o lisp_v it_o out_o as_o well_o as_o they_o can_v but_o where_o some_o kind_n of_o person_n for_o we_o shall_v find_v by_o daily_a experience_n that_o there_o be_v none_o which_o be_v more_o confident_a than_o those_o which_o be_v most_o ignorant_a truth_n it_o be_v for_o the_o most_o part_n modest_a and_o ready_a to_o suspect_v itself_o whereas_o error_n be_v bold_a and_o dark_a there_o be_v some_o kind_n of_o people_n in_o the_o world_n which_o be_v as_o stiff_a and_o resolute_a and_o peremptory_a in_o the_o assent_v of_o their_o private_a fancy_n and_o the_o imagination_n of_o their_o own_o brain_n as_o if_o they_o be_v divine_a oracle_n and_o the_o very_a article_n of_o faith_n itself_o neither_o paul_n nor_o a_o angel_n from_o heaven_n can_v take_v they_o off_o from_o they_o the_o devil_n the_o god_n of_o this_o world_n do_v two_o thing_n with_o they_o first_o blind_v their_o eye_n from_o see_v the_o truth_n and_o their_o ear_n from_o hear_v the_o error_n and_o mistake_n about_o it_o but_o what_o shall_v we_o now_o commend_v or_o imitate_v such_o a_o confidence_n as_o this_o no_o in_o no_o hand_n at_o all_o neither_o be_v this_o that_o which_o be_v here_o observable_a in_o the_o apostle_n this_o confidence_n of_o he_o it_o be_v of_o another_o strain_n and_o tincture_n which_o be_v in_o it_o it_o be_v not_o a_o confidence_n of_o presumption_n but_o a_o confidence_n of_o well_o ground_a knowledge_n it_o be_v not_o a_o confidence_n of_o fancy_n or_o conceit_n but_o a_o confidence_n of_o assurance_n he_o know_v and_o understand_v what_o he_o say_v and_o because_o he_o do_v so_o be_v therefore_o confident_a about_o it_o he_o that_o hear_v speak_v constant_o prov._n 21.28_o and_o this_o confidence_n be_v such_o as_o be_v commendable_a in_o any_o other_o beside_o when_o first_o of_o all_o we_o labour_v to_o be_v satisfy_v and_o well-grounded_n in_o the_o truth_n of_o religion_n and_o then_o keep_v ourselves_o to_o they_o and_o stand_v stiff_o and_o resolute_o upon_o they_o in_o this_o case_n we_o shall_v not_o cast_v away_o our_o confidence_n which_o have_v great_a recompense_n of_o reward_n as_o it_o be_v heb._n 10.35_o whether_o private_a christian_n or_o minister_n private_a christian_n as_o concern_v the_o embrace_n of_o the_o truth_n and_o minister_n as_o concern_v the_o spread_a of_o it_o we_o shall_v both_o of_o we_o so_o order_n ourselves_o in_o this_o business_n as_o that_o
