than_o good_a and_o do_v it_o not_o do_v so_o when_o it_o drive_v to_o despair_v keep_v off_o the_o soul_n from_o christ_n and_o from_o hope_v in_o his_o merit_n or_o god_n mercy_n and_o be_v it_o not_o too_o much_o when_o it_o be_v more_o for_o thy_o dead_a than_o for_o thy_o sin_n for_o when_o thy_o sorrow_n shall_v bear_v its_o proportion_n to_o the_o evil_n thou_o sorrow_v for_o and_o sin_n be_v a_o great_a evil_n than_o the_o death_n of_o thy_o near_a relation_n be_v thou_o thyself_o the_o judge_n if_o sorrow_n for_o the_o lesser_a evil_a be_v not_o too_o much_o when_o it_o be_v more_o than_o that_o which_o thou_o have_v for_o the_o great_a evil_n
moreover_o o_o my_o soul_n will_v thou_o not_o grant_v that_o sorrow_n be_v excessive_a which_o cause_v thy_o thought_n to_o run_v into_o the_o grave_a and_o hinder_v they_o from_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n and_o to_o have_v many_o self-piercing_a and_o self-tormenting_a thought_n of_o thy_o dead_a for_o one_o serious_a and_o heart-affecting_a thought_n thou_o have_v of_o the_o live_n and_o eternal_a god_n and_o which_o make_v thy_o heart_n as_o cold_a in_o all_o thy_o duty_n unto_o god_n as_o the_o body_n of_o thy_o dead_a relation_n be_v in_o its_o grave_n beside_o be_v not_o thy_o sorrow_n too_o much_o when_o it_o hinder_v thou_o from_o spiritual_o rejoice_v in_o god_n and_o give_v thanks_o to_o he_o for_o all_o the_o mercy_n which_o in_o thy_o sorrow_n thou_o do_v overlook_v teach_v and_o holy_a preparation_n to_o be_v make_v for_o death_n and_o another_o eternal_a world_n and_o while_o thou_o sorrow_v all_o these_o be_v neglect_v be_v it_o not_o too_o much_o by_o this_o time_n and_o from_o these_o evidence_n o_o my_o soul_n be_v thou_o not_o convince_v that_o thy_o sorrow_n for_o thy_o dead_a have_v be_v and_o still_o be_v excessive_a sorrow_n that_o thou_o have_v and_o do_v transgress_v the_o bound_n of_o christian_a moderation_n and_o thereby_o offend_v thy_o holy_a lord_n wrong_v thyself_o discredit_v that_o religion_n thou_o do_v profess_v discourage_v the_o good_a and_o cast_v a_o stumbling-block_n in_o the_o way_n of_o the_o ungodly_a and_o will_v thou_o still_o proceed_v herein_o can_v not_o thou_o sensible_o feel_v the_o stroke_n of_o his_o
