must_v not_o be_v amaze_v and_o strange_o perplex_v when_o as_o many_o time_n the_o noble_a image_n be_v hide_v ☞_o that_o we_o can_v receive_v any_o refreshment_n or_o comfort_n but_o we_o must_v know_v that_o then_o the_o poor_a soul_n be_v put_v into_o the_o vineyard_n that_o it_o shall_v work_v and_o bring_v the_o fruit_n to_o be_v set_v upon_o god_n table_n 48._o it_o have_v then_o a_o twig_n or_o branch_n of_o the_o wild_a vine_n give_v unto_o it_o it_o must_v trim_v and_o dress_v that_o and_o plant_v in_o into_o the_o divine_a and_o heavenly_a mystery_n it_o must_v unite_v it_o with_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n this_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v thus_o 49._o as_o a_o plant_n or_o grift_n that_o be_v set_v do_v work_v so_o long_o till_o it_o put_v forth_o its_o branch_n ☞_o and_o then_o its_o fruit_n so_o must_v the_o twig_n grift_n or_o scion_n of_o the_o soul_n which_o stand_v overshadow_a in_o a_o dark_a valley_n continual_o labour_v that_o it_o may_v come_v to_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n which_o be_v the_o noble_a and_o precious_a knowledge_n of_o god_n when_o the_o same_o be_v grow_v in_o it_o that_o the_o soul_n know_v god_n than_o it_o yield_v its_o fair_a fruit_n which_o be_v good_a admonition_n doctrine_n work_n and_o virtue_n it_o lead_v to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n it_o help_v to_o plant_v and_o build_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n and_o than_o it_o be_v a_o right_a labourer_n in_o the_o vineyard_n of_o christ_n 50._o and_o thus_o that_o of_o which_o i_o teach_v write_v and_o speak_v be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o same_o which_o have_v be_v wrought_v in_o i_o otherwise_o i_o can_v know_v nothing_o of_o it_o i_o have_v not_o scrape_v it_o together_o out_o of_o history_n and_o so_o make_v opinion_n as_o the_o babilonicall_a school_n do_v where_o man_n eager_o contend_v about_o word_n and_o opinion_n i_o have_v by_o god_n grace_n obtain_v eye_n of_o my_o own_o and_o be_o able_a in_o myself_o to_o work_v in_o christ_n vineyard_n 51._o i_o speak_v plain_o and_o free_o that_o whatsoever_o be_v patch_v together_o from_o conjecture_n and_o opinion_n wherein_o man_n himself_o have_v â—o_o divine_a knowledge_n whereupon_o he_o make_v conclusion_n that_o i_o say_v be_v babel_n a_o whoredom_n for_o conceit_n or_o think_v must_v not_o do_v it_o yea_o not_o any_o opinion_n or_o conjectural_a apprehension_n but_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n 52._o the_o child_n of_o god_n have_v speak_v as_o they_o be_v drive_v by_o the_o holy_a spirit_n ☞_o they_o have_v plant_v many_o and_o divers_a tree_n but_o they_o all_o stand_v upon_o one_o root_n which_o be_v the_o internal_a heaven_n none_o can_v find_v the_o same_o unless_o he_o likewise_o stand_v upon_o the_o same_o root_n and_o therefore_o the_o external_a heaven_n can_v find_v they_o out_o or_o explain_v they_o by_o art_n 53._o the_o word_n of_o the_o holy_a child_n of_o god_n remain_v as_o a_o hide_a mystery_n unto_o the_o earthly_a man_n and_o though_o he_o think_v that_o he_o understand_v they_o yet_o he_o have_v no_o more_o than_o a_o darksome_a historical_a glimpse_n of_o they_o as_o we_o see_v now_o adays_o how_o man_n do_v wrangle_v and_o contend_v about_o christ_n doctrine_n and_o worship_n and_o fight_v about_o god_n will_n how_o he_o must_v be_v serve_v whereas_o he_o be_v not_o serve_v or_o worship_v with_o any_o opinion_n but_o in_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n and_o in_o truth_n man_n serve_v god_n 54._o it_o depend_v not_o on_o what_o ceremony_n and_o manner_n we_o do_v use_v every_o one_o labour_v in_o his_o work_n and_o gift_n from_o his_o own_o constellation_n and_o property_n but_o all_o be_v drive_v and_o lead_v from_o one_o and_o the_o same_o spirit_n
