in_o this_o place_n the_o reason_n why_o the_o holy_a ghost_n term_v this_o natural_a corruption_n inherent_a in_o the_o soul_n as_o well_o as_o the_o body_n by_o the_o name_n of_o flesh_n reas._n be_v because_o so_o strict_a be_v the_o union_n betwixt_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o in_o a_o unregenerate_a man_n that_o as_o a_o love_a couple_n they_o seek_v the_o preservation_n of_o each_o other_o estate_n and_o like_o hypocrates_n twin_n they_o laugh_v together_o they_o weep_v together_o and_o be_v alike_o affect_v a_o bloody_a heart_n and_o a_o bloody_a hand_n a_o false_a heart_n and_o a_o false_a tongue_n a_o lascivious_a mind_n a_o adulterous_a eye_n yea_o and_o which_o be_v more_o so_o strange_o sometime_o be_v the_o soul_n overcome_v with_o the_o love_n of_o the_o body_n that_o whereas_o by_o nature_n reason_n shall_v command_v and_o rule_v the_o flesh_n as_o the_o weak_a vessel_n the_o belly_n and_o back_n so_o subtle_o insinuate_v and_o creep_v into_o favour_n which_o to_o this_o day_n i_o can_v get_v deliverance_n my_o mind_n be_v blind_a vain_a foolish_a my_o will_n perverse_a and_o rebellious_a all_o my_o affection_n out_o of_o order_n there_o be_v nothing_o whole_a or_o sound_a within_o i_o night_n and_o day_n i_o be_o pester_v with_o sinful_a motion_n the_o desire_n of_o my_o deceitful_a heart_n be_v so_o strong_a and_o prevail_a that_o i_o be_o carry_v headlong_o to_o that_o which_o be_v evil_a the_o curse_a earth_n be_v not_o so_o apt_a to_o be_v overgrow_v with_o weed_n brier_n and_o thorn_n as_o this_o soul_n of_o i_o with_o lust_n perform_v and_o carry_v i_o violent_o to_o the_o commit_n of_o sin_n against_o knowledge_n and_o conscience_n the_o galleyslave_n condition_n be_v very_o hard_a and_o miserable_a but_o i_o be_v far_o hitherto_o of_o the_o phrase_n of_o speech_n use_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n namely_o the_o flesh_n for_o the_o whole_a man_n body_n and_o soul_n the_o particular_a corruption_n of_o either_o which_o that_o we_o may_v shun_v as_o far_o as_o we_o may_v we_o must_v learn_v to_o know_v they_o in_o their_o special_a head_n that_o so_o with_o some_o certainty_n we_o may_v ken_v our_o own_o step_n and_o impurity_n beget_v child_n suitable_a with_o his_o condition_n in_o the_o state_n of_o innocency_n but_o have_v defile_v the_o holiness_n of_o his_o nature_n by_o eat_v the_o forbid_a fruit_n as_o a_o little_a levin_z levine_v the_o whole_a lump_n so_o he_o impart_v the_o same_o nature_n to_o his_o son_n as_o most_o evident_o appear_v in_o cain_n and_o from_o he_o to_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o his_o
