expect_v which_o we_o wait_v for_o but_o that_o the_o apostle_n in_o this_o chapter_n and_o all_o other_o place_n speak_v of_o the_o resurrection_n do_v treat_v of_o it_o spiritual_o &_o allegorical_o and_o that_o he_o never_o do_v hold_v forth_o such_o a_o carnal_a and_o gross_a resurrection_n as_o we_o in_o our_o muddy_a brain_n do_v gross_o apprehend_v he_o do_v in_o answer_n to_o which_o objection_n we_o shall_v grant_v that_o the_o apostle_n in_o sundry_a place_n do_v speak_v of_o a_o resurrection_n figurative_o as_o in_o the_o 3._o col._n 1._o if_o you_o be_v rise_v with_o christ_n silly_a those_o thing_n which_o be_v above_o where_o he_o speak_v of_o a_o resurrection_n to_o a_o new_a life_n in_o the_o spirit_n by_o faith_n and_o in_o this_o sense_n we_o grant_v that_o saint_n be_v already_o rise_v there_o be_v no_o happiness_n for_o such_o at_o the_o second_o resurrection_n hereafter_o who_o be_v not_o first_o raise_v here_o and_o make_v partaker_n of_o the_o first_o resurrection_n yet_o this_o do_v not_o weaken_v our_o assertion_n nor_o overthrow_v our_o faith_n and_o therefore_o give_v i_o leave_v to_o put_v in_o a_o answer_n to_o their_o objection_n first_o mean_a sainâ—_n be_v in_o a_o far_o better_a condition_n than_o they_o thâ—â—_n wicked_a rich_a man_n shall_v awake_v to_o howl_v and_o screech_v to_o misery_n and_o torment_v eternal_a the_o poor_a saint_n to_o joy_n rejoice_v and_o happâ—nesse_n for_o evermore_o wicked_a man_n be_v like_o the_o persian_n slave_n whâ—_n for_o a_o day_n be_v feast_v and_o have_v all_o thing_n provide_v to_o delight_v he_o that_o they_o use_v to_o provide_v for_o the_o emperor_n and_o at_o night_n he_o wâ—_n put_v to_o death_n so_o wicked_a man_n god_n feaâ—_n they_o as_o slave_n here_o they_o have_v and_o then_o he_o raise_v they_o to_o be_v king_n priest_n ruler_n and_o judge_n with_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n wherefore_o let_v this_o meditation_n of_o the_o resurrection_n sweeten_v trouble_v and_o presume_v the_o grave_n unto_o we_o and_o let_v it_o likewise_o sweeten_v all_o the_o comfort_n that_o we_o enjoy_v here_o by_o look_v upon_o they_o as_o pledge_n of_o the_o joy_n prince_n of_o darkness_n what_o be_v it_o for_o thou_o to_o be_v free_a from_o corporal_a enemy_n and_o yet_o to_o be_v under_o the_o power_n and_o lead_v captive_a by_o the_o enemy_n of_o thy_o soul_n what_o be_v it_o if_o thou_o be_v a_o freeman_n in_o thy_o body_n and_o a_o slave_n in_o thy_o soul_n to_o all_o lust_n filthiness_n and_o ungodliness_n what_o be_v it_o to_o keep_v such_o a_o day_n as_o this_o and_o to_o rejoice_v in_o a_o carnal_a way_n for_o outward_a mercy_n when_o thou_o do_v not_o spiritual_o rejoice_v in_o the_o first_o place_n that_o god_n have_v free_v thou_o from_o the_o enemy_n of_o thy_o eternal_a salvation_n rejoice_v not_o only_o as_o a_o heathen_a may_v for_o national_a blessing_n but_o rejoice_v as_o a_o christian_a see_v god_n reconcile_v to_o thou_o in_o the_o son_n of_o his_o love_n let_v the_o joy_n of_o the_o resurrection_n both_o sweeten_v thy_o trouble_n and_o add_v spiritual_a fuel_n to_o the_o flame_n of_o thy_o joy_n for_o temporal_a mercy_n true_o we_o then_o rejoice_v in_o temporal_a thing_n and_o in_o creature-comfort_n and_o mercy_n aright_o when_o we_o rejoice_v in_o they_o in_o a_o spiritual_a way_n when_o we_o see_v all_o sweeten_v to_o we_o in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n therefore_o improve_v to_o the_o full_a this_o doctrine_n for_o the_o heighten_v of_o your_o joy_n this_o day_n let_v there_o not_o be_v a_o evil_a heart_n of_o unbelief_n in_o any_o to_o keep_v he_o from_o rejoice_v though_o there_o be_v great_a plenty_n of_o corn_n in_o samaria_n yet_o the_o lord_n that_o will_v not_o believe_v what_o believe_v what_o have_v be_v speak_v what_o god_n have_v promise_v and_o rejoice_v in_o it_o here_o be_v confident_a that_o thou_o shall_v enjoy_v what_o god_n have_v promise_v and_o what_o thou_o
