torment_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v these_o chief_o afflict_v the_o body_n but_o the_o other_o shall_v seize_v upon_o body_n and_o soul_n these_o be_v but_o temporary_a and_o prefined_a within_o the_o limit_n of_o this_o short_a life_n the_o other_o eternal_a which_o never_o shall_v find_v end_n or_o limit_v if_o then_o this_o vastation_n of_o jerusalem_n foresee_v so_o long_o before_o do_v draw_v tear_n from_o our_o love_a lord_n with_o what_o tear_n of_o contrition_n shall_v we_o bewail_v our_o sin_n which_o will_v in_o the_o end_n without_o repentance_n plunge_v we_o in_o eternal_a torment_n whereof_o all_o other_o affliction_n be_v but_o a_o image_n or_o shadow_n for_o so_o the_o apostle_n peter_n lay_v before_o we_o the_o destruction_n of_o sodom_n and_o gomorah_n as_o a_o example_n of_o the_o eternal_a punishment_n prepare_v for_o these_o which_o hereafter_o shall_v live_v ungodly_a 2.4_o there_o the_o damn_a shall_v spiritual_o suffer_v all_o these_o thing_n which_o the_o lord_n here_o bewail_v but_o after_o a_o diverse_a manner_n of_o torment_n there_o all_o the_o rabble_n of_o the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v trench_v about_o with_o their_o enemy_n the_o devil_n so_o that_o they_o shall_v have_v no_o evasion_n to_o escape_v out_o of_o their_o hand_n there_o shall_v be_v famine_n sword_n and_o pestilence_n that_o be_v diverse_a kind_n of_o torment_n proceed_v from_o the_o order_n of_o god_n justice_n according_a to_o the_o condition_n of_o every_o sin_n and_o it_o may_v perhaps_o have_v probability_n which_o some_o think_v that_o there_o shall_v be_v diverse_a kind_n of_o torment_n torment_n for_o diverse_a kind_n of_o sin_n as_o namely_o other_o torment_n for_o the_o proud_a other_o for_o the_o covetous_a other_o for_o the_o lecher_n other_o for_o the_o envious_a etc._n etc._n so_o that_o the_o proud_a and_o high_o mind_v shall_v there_o be_v deject_a and_o cast_v down_o full_a low_a the_o covetous_a shall_v there_o be_v pine_v with_o extreme_a penury_n of_o all_o thing_n there_o the_o envious_a in_o rage_n shall_v rend_v and_o tear_v their_o own_o bowel_n there_o the_o lecher_n for_o the_o short_a pleasure_n of_o his_o unclean_a flesh_n shall_v be_v torment_v with_o most_o bitter_a torture_n there_o the_o greedy_a glutton_n who_o make_v his_o belly_n his_o god_n shall_v with_o the_o rich_a glutton_n be_v torment_v with_o most_o cruel_a hunger_n and_o thirst_n and_o be_v deny_v one_o drop_n of_o cold_a water_n to_o cool_v his_o tongue_n 16._o and_o whereas_o the_o lord_n say_v of_o that_o sinful_a city_n there_o shall_v not_o be_v leave_v one_o stone_n upon_o a_o other_o which_o shall_v not_o be_v throw_v down_o this_o calamity_n also_o shall_v not_o there_o be_v want_v 19.44_o when_o there_o shall_v be_v no_o sense_n no_o member_n of_o the_o body_n leave_v without_o his_o torment_n for_o even_o as_o the_o wicked_a have_v give_v their_o member_n as_o weapon_n of_o unrighteousness_n unto_o sin_n so_o the_o order_n of_o god_n justice_n 6.13_o require_v that_o no_o member_n shall_v be_v free_a from_o his_o proper_a &_o deserve_a punishment_n so_o the_o unchaste_a eye_n so_o the_o ear_n which_o lay_v open_a to_o detraction_n and_o slander_n so_o the_o deceitful_a tongue_n which_o utter_v so_o many_o lie_v &_o falsehood_n spare_v neither_o the_o same_o of_o widow_n wife_n virgin_n or_o any_o other_o so_o the_o body_n which_o be_v effeminate_a &_o weaken_v with_o so_o many_o pleasure_n and_o delight_n shall_v there_o receive_v
