be_v great_o profane_v and_o abuse_v some_o think_v it_o enough_o sometime_o to_o preach_v but_o they_o neither_o catechise_v and_o instruct_v the_o people_n in_o the_o ground_n and_o principle_n of_o religion_n nor_o private_o examine_v &_o prepare_v they_o to_o the_o worthy_a communicate_v of_o this_o holy_a mystery_n and_o sacrament_n and_o therefore_o the_o people_n come_v ignorant_o and_o without_o knowledge_n unto_o it_o without_o the_o which_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n can_v be_v good_a as_o solomon_n say_v 19.2_o proverb_n 19.2_o and_o so_o most_o wicked_o abuse_v it_o and_o kindle_v god_n wrath_n against_o they_o for_o it_o let_v therefore_o parent_n do_v this_o duty_n which_o god_n lay_v upon_o they_o in_o teach_v their_o child_n &_o family_n the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n effectual_a remorse_n for_o his_o manifold_a and_o heinous_a sin_n commit_v against_o god_n majesty_n for_o as_o the_o israelit_n be_v with_o bitter_a herb_n to_o eat_v their_o passover_o 12.8_o exod._n 12.8_o so_o we_o ought_v to_o receive_v this_o holy_a sacrament_n of_o christ_n body_n and_o blood_n with_o bitter_a repentance_n for_o our_o manifold_a iniquity_n be_v inward_o prick_v in_o conscience_n that_o we_o have_v so_o grievous_o offend_v our_o gracious_a god_n in_o do_v such_o wicked_a thing_n as_o he_o forbid_v and_o not_o do_v those_o holy_a thing_n that_o he_o command_v we_o or_o not_o do_v they_o in_o that_o pure_a sincere_a sort_n that_o he_o require_v of_o us._n this_o true_a repentance_n must_v bring_v with_o it_o a_o true_a amendment_n and_o reformation_n of_o life_n in_o forsake_v such_o sin_n as_o we_o have_v heretofore_o commit_v and_o in_o indevor_v diligent_o to_o do_v those_o thing_n that_o we_o know_v to_o be_v good_a acceptable_a before_o god_n our_o saviour_n 5.12_o james._n 5.12_o he_o that_o have_v be_v a_o swearer_n must_v swear_v no_o more_o but_o let_v his_o speech_n be_v yea_o yea_o nay_o nay_o lest_o he_o fall_v into_o condemnation_n and_o
