make_v feb._n thâ—_n 8._o 1641._o as_o a_o worthy_a member_n of_o the_o honourable_a assembly_n of_o parliament_n of_o the_o great_a parliament_n at_o its_o first_o sit_v do_v fear_v it_o will_v this_o body_n of_o sin_n but_o as_o we_o say_v in_o philosophy_n elementa_fw-la in_o svo_fw-la loco_fw-la neque_fw-la gravant_fw-la neque_fw-la levant_a the_o element_n in_o their_o proper_a place_n they_o be_v neither_o light_n nor_o heavy_a so_o be_v it_o with_o sin_n when_o they_o be_v in_o their_o proper_a place_n the_o heart_n of_o wicked_a man_n they_o weigh_v nothing_o there_o and_o whether_o they_o be_v light_a sin_n or_o heavy_a they_o be_v insensible_a of_o the_o burden_n of_o they_o and_o if_o hypocrite_n complain_v of_o sin_n in_o other_o and_o true_a christian_n of_o sin_n in_o themselves_o they_o that_o be_v fleshly_a mind_a mere_a natural_a man_n as_o they_o know_v not_o what_o sin_n be_v so_o they_o feel_v not_o the_o burden_n of_o it_o and_o if_o they_o be_v not_o over_o curious_a to_o see_v sin_n in_o other_o they_o be_v not_o over_o careful_a to_o see_v or_o amend_v it_o in_o themselves_o and_o therefore_o they_o think_v themselves_o of_o all_o other_o in_o a_o happy_a condition_n who_o neither_o trouble_n themselves_o with_o other_o sin_n nor_o yet_o with_o their_o own_o whereas_o in_o truth_n there_o be_v no_o peace_n promise_v but_o to_o the_o trouble_a conscience_n no_o quiet_a nor_o rest_n but_o to_o the_o burden_a soul_n those_o that_o be_v weary_a and_o heavy_a lade_v with_o the_o burden_n of_o their_o sin_n while_o therefore_o these_o man_n be_v please_a themselves_o with_o this_o vain_a fantasy_n and_o think_v that_o they_o of_o all_o other_o have_v right_a to_o heaven_n and_o to_o earth_n too_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o the_o scripture_n meet_v with_o they_o and_o show_v they_o that_o they_o may_v please_v themselves_o but_o they_o can_v they_o do_v not_o please_v god_n while_o they_o remain_v in_o their_o natural_a condition_n without_o purge_a sin_n out_o of_o their_o heart_n so_o then_o they_o that_o be_v
