we_o have_v get_v some_o persuasion_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n though_o afterward_o we_o lose_v the_o sense_n of_o it_o yet_o let_v we_o say_v to_o our_o soul_n sure_o god_n will_v never_o have_v do_v all_o this_o for_o i_o he_o will_v never_o have_v show_v i_o the_o way_n of_o religion_n and_o wrought_v some_o good_a persuasion_n in_o i_o of_o his_o love_n towards_o i_o if_o ever_o he_o and_o power_n these_o be_v certain_a chief_a live_a agent_n which_o do_v or_o may_v endanger_v we_o either_o by_o life_n or_o death_n for_o the_o meaning_n of_o these_o three_o word_n i_o confess_v that_o there_o be_v great_a hardness_n in_o they_o and_o great_a difficulty_n among_o interpreter_n about_o they_o i_o will_v not_o trouble_v you_o with_o many_o exposition_n general_o the_o word_n be_v expound_v altogether_o of_o angel_n and_o nothing_o else_o but_o herein_o some_o speak_v more_o bold_o some_o more_o modest_o they_o that_o speak_v more_o bold_o take_v it_o thus_o by_o angel_n they_o understand_v the_o whole_a army_n of_o god_n angel_n in_o general_a and_o by_o ruler_n and_o power_n they_o understand_v certain_a distinct_a order_n of_o angel_n one_o above_o another_o but_o this_o though_o it_o be_v the_o judgement_n of_o many_o of_o the_o learned_a yet_o it_o be_v a_o mere_a conjecture_n for_o there_o be_v no_o certainty_n set_v down_o in_o god_n word_n what_o be_v the_o distinct_a order_n of_o angel_n and_o for_o a_o man_n to_o take_v upon_o he_o to_o speak_v of_o such_o high_a mystery_n as_o these_o be_v without_o warrant_n from_o god_n word_n be_v great_a presumption_n they_o that_o speak_v more_o modest_o do_v understand_v by_o all_o these_o three_o word_n angel_n ruler_n and_o power_n one_o and_o the_o same_o thing_n that_o be_v all_o the_o angel_n indifferent_o but_o why_o do_v the_o apostle_n here_o give_v they_o several_a name_n they_o answer_v that_o he_o do_v it_o in_o three_o several_a respect_n they_o be_v call_v angel_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o office_n they_o be_v messenger_n second_o they_o be_v call_v ruler_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o excellency_n of_o their_o nature_n and_o power_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o mightiness_n the_o scripture_n luke_n 12.11_o and_o when_o they_o bring_v you_o unto_o the_o synagogue_n and_o unto_o ruler_n etc._n etc._n and_o titus_n 3.1_o put_v they_o in_o mind_n that_o they_o be_v subject_a to_o principality_n or_o ruler_n it_o be_v true_a that_o

of_o host_n that_o we_o make_v conscience_n of_o our_o way_n and_o that_o we_o keep_v ourselves_o from_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o time_n and_o that_o we_o will_v not_o run_v with_o they_o into_o excess_n of_o riot_n this_o be_v the_o scandal_n of_o the_o cross_n in_o these_o time_n that_o the_o faithful_a will_v not_o company_n and_o symbolize_v with_o the_o wicked_a in_o their_o sin_n no_o we_o will_v not_o serve_v your_o sin_n we_o serve_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o if_o you_o reproach_n we_o for_o it_o we_o will_v wear_v that_o reproach_n as_o our_o crown_n the_o glory_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v their_o shame_n but_o the_o shame_n that_o the_o wicked_a lay_n upon_o we_o be_v our_o great_a glory_n though_o this_o be_v a_o shame_n with_o man_n yet_o it_o be_v honour_n with_o christ_n he_o will_v take_v knowledge_n of_o we_o as_o his_o servant_n second_o this_o be_v matter_n of_o comfort_n to_o god_n child_n and_o they_o stand_v in_o great_a need_n of_o comfort_n in_o these_o uncomfortable_a time_n why_o this_o that_o christ_n be_v our_o lord_n if_o we_o be_v sure_a of_o that_o it_o will_v support_v and_o cheer_v up_o our_o heart_n in_o all_o our_o distress_n against_o desertion_n of_o man_n when_o man_n when_o friend_n yea_o when_o our_o parent_n forsake_v we_o our_o lord_n christ_n will_v never_o forsake_v we_o psal_n 27.10_o though_o my_o father_n and_o
