consider_v how_o god_n expect_v to_o be_v honour_v by_o our_o thought_n as_o well_o as_o by_o our_o word_n and_o action_n by_o the_o work_n of_o the_o heart_n as_o well_o as_o by_o the_o way_n of_o the_o life_n holy_a thought_n be_v something_o of_o the_o root_n of_o a_o holy_a life_n who_o know_v how_o much_o precious_a fruit_n may_v be_v in_o a_o good_a thought_n it_o be_v true_a if_o they_o die_v as_o soon_o as_o they_o be_v bear_v and_o bring_v forth_o nothing_o god_n will_v but_o light_o regard_v they_o but_o there_o be_v great_a hope_n that_o where_o the_o grace_n that_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n do_v put_v forth_o into_o holy_a thought_n it_o will_v thence_o spring_v up_o into_o holiness_n of_o life_n therefore_o o_o young_a man_n forget_v not_o daily_o to_o render_v unto_o trade_n for_o thy_o body_n without_o a_o stock_n of_o money_n as_o a_o trade_n for_o thy_o soul_n without_o a_o stock_n of_o grace_n get_v a_o stock_n of_o save_a grate_n a_o stock_n of_o faith_n and_o love_n and_o habitual_a holiness_n upon_o the_o wise_a improvement_n of_o this_o thou_o will_v grow_v rich_a unto_o god_n this_o be_v the_o true_a riches_n the_o best_a riches_n a_o little_a of_o it_o be_v more_o worth_a than_o all_o the_o world_n for_o 1._o riches_n oft_o prove_v hurtful_a to_o the_o owner_n of_o they_o eccl._n 5._o 13._o there_o be_v a_o sore_a evil_n which_o i_o have_v see_v under_o the_o sun_n namely_o riches_n keep_v for_o the_o owner_n thereof_o to_o their_o hurt_n prove_v oftentimes_o occasion_n of_o sin_n unto_o they_o be_v the_o bellows_o of_o pride_n and_o of_o their_o own_o soul_n yea_o grace_n sanctify_v not_o only_a blessing_n but_o likewise_o cross_n and_o affliction_n turn_v they_o to_o their_o good_a for_o all_o thing_n shall_v work_v together_o for_o the_o good_a of_o every_o gracious_a soul_n of_o every_o one_o that_o love_v and_o fear_v god_n rom._n 8._o 28._o whereupon_o say_v the_o apostle_n 2_o cor._n 4._o 17._o our_o light_a endure_v with_o we_o to_o all_o eternity_n therefore_o call_v durable_a riches_n prov._n 8._o 18._o i_o know_v some_o tell_v we_o of_o fall_v away_o from_o grace_n true_a it_o be_v a_o christian_a may_v lose_v 1._o the_o comfortable_a sense_n and_o feel_v of_o grace_n so_o that_o in_o his_o own_o apprehension_n it_o may_v be_v utter_o lose_v 2._o he_o may_v lose_v some_o degree_n of_o save_a grace_n for_o faith_n be_v sometime_o more_o lively_a and_o strong_a and_o sometime_o more_o dull_a and_o weak_a yea_o all_o grace_n have_v their_o full_a and_o wane_n their_o ebbing_n and_o flow_n 3._o he_o may_v lose_v the_o powerful_a operation_n of_o grace_n i_o mean_v the_o act_n of_o faith_n and_o other_o grace_n may_v be_v intermit_v and_o suspend_v when_o as_o the_o grace_n themselves_o be_v not_o abolish_v but_o continue_v with_o we_o for_o ever_o in_o which_o respect_v you_o may_v discern_v the_o transcendent_a excellency_n of_o grace_n above_o riches_n how_o shall_v the_o consideration_n thereof_o prevail_v with_o you_o to_o labour_v in_o the_o use_n of_o all_o mean_v god_n have_v sanctify_v for_o the_o attainment_n thereof_o to_o help_v you_o therein_o take_v these_o direction_n 1._o mourn_v and_o weep_v if_o possible_o for_o thy_o graceless_a condition_n take_v up_o a_o lamentation_n and_o say_v woe_n and_o alas_o that_o ever_o i_o be_v bear_v especial_o that_o i_o have_v live_v thus_o long_o in_o a_o graceless_a condition_n without_o god_n and_o without_o christ_n in_o the_o world_n o_o what_o will_v become_v of_o i_o if_o i_o die_v in_o this_o estate_n sure_o hell_n and_o damnation_n must_v needs_o be_v my_o portion_n to_o all_o eternity_n thus_o make_v thy_o closet_n a_o house_n of_o mourning_n and_o know_v that_o the_o mourning_n of_o thy_o soul_n will_v cause_v the_o earning_n of_o god_n bowel_n towards_o thou_o so_o that_o he_o will_v not_o deny_v grace_n to_o a_o mourning_n soul_n 2._o as_o thou_o will_v have_v grace_n
