of_o god_n 31._o verse_n 31._o the_o curse_n of_o his_o law_n and_o the_o flame_n of_o hell_n have_v beset_v they_o round_o about_o yet_o they_o do_v not_o believe_v it_o because_o they_o be_v asleep_a in_o sin_n now_o he_o that_o be_v awaken_v and_o see_v this_o sees_z that_o through_o this_o he_o be_v a_o dead_a man_n even_o so_o they_o that_o do_v see_v their_o state_n by_o nature_n be_v be_v not_o a_o argument_n to_o prove_v that_o thou_o believe_v all_o the_o thing_n contain_v in_o scripture_n for_o there_o be_v gospel_n as_o well_o as_o law_n and_o therefore_o i_o shall_v speak_v to_o that_o also_o that_o be_v whether_o thou_o have_v feel_v the_o power_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o well_o as_o something_o of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o law_n 2._o then_o if_o thou_o have_v find_v the_o power_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o so_o believe_v it_o thou_o have_v find_v it_o thus_o with_o thy_o soul_n 1._o thou_o have_v be_v show_v by_o the_o word_n or_o truth_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o to_o the_o covenant_n of_o promise_n that_o be_v the_o gospel_n &_o so_o have_v no_o hope_n in_o they_o eph._n 2.12_o there_o be_v not_o any_o promise_n that_o can_v be_v save_o believe_v until_o for_o sorrow_n 2._o how_o that_o they_o have_v not_o so_o much_o as_o the_o least_o comfort_n from_o god_n who_o in_o the_o time_n they_o live_v here_o below_o neglect_v come_v to_o he_o for_o mercy_n not_o to_o commit_v themselves_o to_o their_o enemy_n they_o be_v very_o merciless_a man_n and_o will_v not_o so_o much_o favour_v you_o if_o they_o can_v help_v it_o as_o you_o may_v suppose_v they_o that_o be_v so_o sudden_o take_v away_o some_o from_o haunt_v the_o alehouse_n other_o from_o haunt_v the_o whore-house_n other_o from_o play_v and_o game_n other_o from_o the_o care_n and_o covetous_a desire_n after_o this_o world_n unlooked_a for_o as_o by_o themselves_o or_o their_o companion_n hence_o it_o be_v also_o that_o man_n do_v so_o wonder_v at_o such_o tiding_n as_o this_o righteous_a judge_n and_o from_o that_o time_n be_v shut_v out_o from_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n into_o everlasting_a woe_n and_o distress_n but_o the_o godly_a when_o the_o time_n of_o their_o to_o he_o as_o it_o be_v utter_v by_o the_o ungodly_a in_o other_o place_n of_o the_o scripture_n as_o in_o luke_n 13._o verse_n 25_o 26._o then_o shall_v they_o say_v lord_n lord_n we_o have_v eat_v will_v be_v glad_a of_o the_o least_o mercy_n even_o a_o drop_n of_o cold_a water_n 3._o again_o observe_v that_o those_o who_o in_o their_o life_n time_n do_v turn_v their_o back_n upon_o the_o stream_n of_o god_n grace_n and_o love_n when_o they_o depart_v this_o life_n they_o shall_v not_o have_v the_o privilege_n of_o the_o least_o mercy_n though_o they_o will_v never_o so_o willing_o o_o of_o mercy_n lest_o you_o partake_v of_o the_o same_o portion_n with_o they_o and_o cry_v out_o in_o the_o bitterness_n of_o your_o soul_n one_o drop_n of_o cold_a water_n and_o cool_v my_o tongue_n for_o i_o be_o torment_v in_o this_o flame_n these_o word_n hold_v forth_o the_o reason_n why_o the_o damn_a do_v so_o much_o request_v there_o may_v be_v some_o pity_n show_v to_o they_o namely_o because_o they_o be_v under_o sore_n and_o sad_a affliction_n for_o i_o be_o torment_v in_o this_o flame_n indeed_o the_o reason_n why_o the_o poor_a world_n do_v not_o so_o earnest_o desire_v for_o of_o the_o ruin_n of_o thy_o neighbour_n soul_n thy_o servant_n soul_n thy_o wife_n soul_n together_o with_o the_o ruin_n of_o thy_o own_o think_v on_o this_o you_o drunken_a proud_a rich_a and_o scornful_a landlord_n think_v on_o this_o you_o mad-brained_a blasphemous_a husband_n that_o be_v against_o the_o godly_a and_o chaste_a conversation_n of_o your_o wife_n also_o you_o that_o hold_v your_o servant_n so_o hard_o to_o it_o that_o you_o will_v not_o spare_v they_o time_n to_o hear_v the_o word_n unless_o it_o be_v where_o and_o when_o your_o lust_n will_v let_v you_o o_o if_o you_o love_v your_o own_o soul_n your_o tenant_n soul_n your_o wife_n soul_n your_o servant_n soul_n your_o child_n soul_n if_o you_o will_v not_o cry_v if_o you_o will_v not_o howl_v if_o you_o will_v not_o bear_v the_o burden_n of_o the_o ruin_n of_o other_o for_o ever_o then_o i_o beseech_v you_o to_o consider_v this_o doleful_a story_n and_o labour_n to_o avoid_v the_o soul-killing_a torment_n that_o this_o poor_a wretch_n groan_v under_o when_o he_o say_v i_o pray_v thou_o therefore_o that_o thou_o will_v send_v he_o to_o my_o father_n house_n for_o i_o have_v five_o brethren_n that_o he_o therefore_o he_o that_o shall_v reject_v and_o turn_v his_o back_n either_o upon_o the_o threaten_n counsel_n admonition_n invitation_n promise_n or_o whatsoever_o else_o i_o have_v command_v they_o to_o speak_v as_o to_o salvation_n and_o life_n and_o to_o direction_n therein_o shall_v be_v sure_a to_o have_v a_o share_n in_o the_o many_o curse_n that_o they_o have_v speak_v and_o the_o destruction_n that_o be_v pronounce_v by_o they_o again_o if_o they_o hear_v not_o moses_n and_o the_o prophet_n etc._n etc._n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v thou_o will_v have_v i_o send_v one_o from_o word_n shall_v not_o pass_v if_o thou_o have_v ten_o thousand_o brethren_n and_o every_o one_o in_o danger_n of_o lose_v his_o soul_n if_o they_o do_v not_o close_o in_o with_o what_o be_v contain_v of_o they_o die_v in_o their_o bed_n and_o therefore_o though_o thou_o think_v that_o a_o miracle_n will_v do_v so_o much_o with_o the_o world_n yet_o i_o say_v no._n for_o if_o they_o will_v not_o believe_v moses_n and_o the_o prophet_n neither_o will_v they_o be_v persuade_v though_o one_o shall_v rise_v from_o the_o dead_a from_o these_o word_n therefore_o take_v notice_n of_o this_o truth_n namely_o that_o those_o who_o reject_v and_o believe_v not_o moses_n and_o the_o prophet_n be_v a_o very_a hard-hearted_a people_n that_o will_v not_o be_v persuade_v though_o one_o rise_v from_o if_o you_o believe_v not_o his_o writing_n how_o can_v you_o believe_v my_o word_n now_o i_o say_v he_o that_o shall_v slight_v the_o scripture_n and_o the_o testimony_n of_o the_o prophet_n in_o they_o concern_v jesus_n christ_n must_v needs_o be_v in_o great_a danger_n of_o lose_v his_o soul_n if_o he_o abide_v in_o this_o condition_n because_o he_o that_o slight_v the_o testimony_n do_v
