mind_n and_o manner_n yea_o not_o only_o a_o reformation_n but_o a_o renovation_n and_o that_o thou_o be_v a_o new_a man_n the_o goodness_n of_o god_n lead_v thou_o to_o repentance_n he_o may_v have_v drive_v thou_o into_o it_o by_o terror_n but_o he_o gentle_o lead_v thou_o it_o be_v indeed_o his_o goodness_n that_o he_o will_v admit_v we_o to_o repent_v but_o that_o he_o will_v call_v and_o lead_v to_o repentance_n be_v goodness_n much_o more_o and_o oh_o what_o goodness_n be_v it_o that_o he_o put_v we_o to_o no_o great_a penance_n than_o repentance_n jer._n 3.13_o god_n may_v have_v say_v thou_o shall_v lie_v in_o hell_n so_o many_o thousand_o year_n to_o feel_v the_o smart_n of_o thy_o sin_n and_o if_o he_o have_v bid_v thou_o do_v some_o great_a thing_n will_v thou_o not_o can_v scarce_o see_v what_o they_o look_v upon_o with_o their_o eye_n that_o which_o seem_v very_o fine_a and_o fair_a by_o a_o false_a light_n be_v find_v far_o otherwise_o by_o a_o true_a one_o now_o by_o the_o same_o reason_n that_o weight_n be_v light_n be_v a_o abomination_n to_o the_o lord_n viz._n because_o they_o be_v false_a and_o deceitful_a if_o you_o tell_v i_o it_o be_v the_o custom_n of_o the_o city_n and_o all_o the_o world_n i_o ask_v you_o whether_o that_o will_v answer_v god_n and_o make_v it_o no_o sin_n 5._o take_v heed_n of_o break_v bargain_n and_o covenant_n when_o you_o perceive_v you_o can_v buy_v cheap_a of_o or_o sell_v dear_a to_o another_o i_o be_o almost_o afraid_a that_o this_o practical_a kind_n of_o religion_n be_v with_o many_o like_o a_o old_a almanac_n out_o of_o date_n as_o if_o religion_n be_v confine_v to_o the_o first_o table_n some_o duty_n to_o god_n and_o the_o second_o table_n duty_n to_o man_n be_v of_o little_a concern_v or_o consequence_n when_o as_o most_o frequent_o in_o holy_a writ_n the_o character_n of_o godly_a man_n be_v draw_v from_o their_o obedience_n to_o the_o second_o table-commands_a and_o among_o the_o rest_n this_o that_o i_o be_o upon_o be_v one_o psal_n 15.4_o he_o that_o swear_v and_o change_v not_o though_o it_o be_v to_o his_o loss_n and_o detriment_n and_o it_o ought_v to_o hold_v good_a in_o promise_n as_o well_o as_o oath_n in_o bargain_v as_o well_o as_o swear_v for_o a_o man_n ought_v to_o be_v just_a though_o he_o have_v not_o swear_v to_o be_v so_o but_o woe_n to_o they_o that_o promise_n and_o swear_v too_o yet_o be_v not_o just_a but_o false_a and_o perjure_v both_o 6._o take_v heed_n of_o carnal_a and_o sinful_a compliance_n with_o your_o customer_n and_o chapman_n in_o in_o your_o debt_n you_o complain_v many_o time_n that_o your_o chapman_n break_v and_o it_o be_v to_o be_v fear_v they_o may_v complain_v that_o you_o break_v they_o either_o by_o force_v too_o much_o or_o very_o bad_a commodity_n into_o their_o hand_n which_o they_o can_v vend_n or_o put_v off_o but_o to_o their_o great_a loss_n they_o be_v in_o your_o book_n and_o for_o fear_n of_o your_o displeasure_n lest_o you_o shall_v arrest_v they_o they_o be_v willing_a to_o take_v it_o of_o you_o but_o oh_o for_o the_o poors-sake_n for_o gods-sake_n and_o for_o your_o own_o and_o your_o famililies-sake_n do_v not_o grow_v rich_a by_o the_o poor_a man_n poverty_n if_o you_o know_v any_o more_o beside_o these_o for_o i_o have_v but_o little_a knowledge_n of_o your_o mystery_n i_o
