future_a unto_o sense_n but_o they_o be_v present_a unto_o faith_n for_o faith_n be_v the_o substance_n of_o thing_n not_o see_v heb._n 11.1_o it_o give_v they_o a_o be_v before_o they_o be_v and_o love_v what_o he_o love_v and_o to_o hate_v what_o he_o hate_v sin_n be_v the_o only_a thing_n that_o god_n hate_v and_o those_o that_o love_v he_o will_v not_o can_v but_o hate_v sin_n their_o love_n to_o god_n will_v constrain_v they_o to_o do_v it_o psalm_n 97_o 7._o you_o that_o love_v the_o lord_n hate_v evil_a and_o certain_o the_o hatred_n of_o evil_n be_v the_o best_a security_n against_o not_o we_o be_v in_o god_n way_n and_o may_v expect_v his_o protection_n and_o preservation_n true_o such_o circumspection_n as_o this_o be_v will_v prove_v our_o best_a security_n and_o though_o we_o be_v not_o able_a by_o all_o our_o own_o strength_n and_o diligence_n to_o preserve_v ourselves_o yet_o when_o god_n see_v we_o so_o industrious_o solicitous_a to_o avoid_v sin_n he_o will_v then_o come_v in_o by_o his_o almighty_a grace_n that_o help_v not_o the_o slothful_a but_o the_o laborious_a and_o he_o will_v keep_v we_o from_o those_o sin_n that_o we_o can_v keep_v ourselves_o from_o now_o for_o the_o application_n of_o this_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o it_o be_v the_o almighty_a power_n of_o god_n only_o that_o can_v keep_v we_o from_o sin_n this_o may_v then_o be_v convictive_a manner_n of_o man_n o_o lord_n but_z as_o far_o as_o the_o heaven_n be_v above_o the_o earth_n so_o far_o be_v the_o thought_n of_o god_n above_o our_o thought_n and_o his_o way_n above_o our_o way_n this_o purpose_n of_o god_n to_o pardon_v and_o forgive_v sinner_n it_o be_v very_o difficult_a to_o trace_v out_o the_o order_n of_o the_o divine_a decree_n concern_v the_o salvation_n of_o mankind_n and_o to_o pass_v from_o one_o of_o they_o to_o another_o as_o they_o lie_v rank_v and_o methodise_v in_o god_n breast_n and_o divers_a that_o have_v attempt_v to_o search_v out_o these_o arcana_fw-la dei_fw-la this_o art_n and_o mystery_n of_o justice_n and_o mercy_n have_v tread_v in_o path_n different_a from_o one_o another_o and_o doubtless_o many_o of_o they_o differ_v from_o the_o truth_n also_o i_o shall_v not_o stand_v to_o draw_v a_o scheme_n of_o these_o decree_n of_o god_n let_v it_o now_o suffice_v we_o to_o know_v that_o god_n from_o all_o eternity_n foresee_v the_o sin_n and_o misery_n which_o man_n will_v by_o his_o permission_n and_o his_o own_o sin_n involve_v himself_o in_o do_v for_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o riches_n both_o of_o his_o mercy_n and_o justice_n bring_v about_o justice_n brandish_v its_o sword_n in_o the_o face_n of_o sinner_n and_o demand_n as_o great_a a_o share_n of_o glory_n in_o punishment_n as_o mercy_n do_v in_o pardon_v and_o god_n be_v resolve_v to_o glorify_v both_o of_o these_o attribute_n of_o his_o in_o their_o several_a demand_n this_o now_o put_v he_o upon_o ransack_v of_o the_o deep_a counsel_n that_o ever_o lodge_v in_o his_o heart_n even_o of_o a_o adore_v mediator_n in_o who_o justice_n receive_v full_a satisfaction_n and_o mercy_n triumph_v in_o a_o full_a pardon_n and_o both_o be_v infinite_o glorious_a for_o this_o end_n god_n send_v down_o his_o son_n from_o heaven_n to_o earth_n to_o become_v a_o propitiation_n for_o we_o and_o so_o through_o the_o shed_n of_o his_o blood_n to_o obtain_v remission_n and_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n for_o we_o god_n mercy_n and_o his_o belove_a son_n can_v not_o rest_v together_o in_o his_o bosom_n and_o therefore_o his_o purpose_n of_o pardon_v sin_n be_v so_o efficacious_a that_o to_o make_v room_n for_o the_o display_v of_o his_o mercy_n he_o send_v his_o own_o son_n out_o of_o heaven_n never_o to_o enter_v again_o there_o till_o by_o his_o merit_n and_o suffering_n he_o have_v procure_v remission_n of_o sin_n for_o all_o those_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o hence_o the_o apostle_n rom._n 3.26_o tell_v we_o that_o god_n send_v forth_o christ_n to_o be_v a_o propitiation_n through_o faith_n in_o his_o blood_n to_o declare_v his_o righteousness_n for_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n that_o be_v past_a through_o god_n forbearance_n that_o he_o may_v be_v just_o and_o the_o justifier_n of_o they_o that_o believe_v in_o jesus_n as_o if_o the_o apostle_n have_v say_v god_n can_v not_o be_v just_o if_o he_o shall_v justify_v sinner_n that_o deserve_v
