christ_n and_o can_v never_o be_v true_o settle_v in_o our_o comfort_n and_o peace_n without_o faith_n in_o he_o then_o let_v we_o fetch_v our_o comfort_n our_o peace_n our_o assurance_n from_o christ_n by_o believe_v and_o not_o from_o any_o thing_n of_o our_o own_o not_o from_o our_o repentance_n and_o obedience_n and_o sanctification_n for_o these_o be_v mix_v with_o imperfection_n these_o be_v defile_v with_o our_o corruption_n these_o be_v ebb_v and_o flow_v so_o will_v your_o comfort_n and_o peace_n and_o assurance_n be_v so_o long_o as_o you_o feed_v they_o from_o these_o these_o do_v not_o make_v we_o righteous_a before_o god_n it_o may_v be_v before_o man_n or_o in_o our_o own_o eye_n may_v make_v we_o righteous_a our_o repentance_n our_o obedience_n our_o holiness_n but_o they_o do_v not_o make_v we_o so_o before_o god_n if_o we_o raise_v our_o comfort_n and_o peace_n and_o assurance_n from_o these_o it_o be_v from_o our_o own_o act_n and_o this_o savour_v too_o much_o of_o a_o legal_a spirit_n if_o we_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o fetch_v all_o from_o he_o it_o will_v be_v certain_a and_o last_a and_o solid_a and_o will_v be_v unshaken_a isa_n 45.24_o it_o be_v a_o prophecy_n of_o the_o gospel_n time_n very_o shall_v one_o say_v in_o the_o lord_n have_v i_o righteousness_n and_o strength_n i_o have_v none_o in_o myself_o and_o i_o can_v draw_v none_o from_o what_o self_n do_v but_o in_o the_o lord_n have_v i_o righteousness_n and_o strength_n there_o be_v sufficient_a righteousness_n and_o there_o be_v sufficient_a strength_n to_o bear_v up_o my_o aright_o in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n the_o son_n of_o god_n or_o no_o this_o may_v be_v of_o use_n unto_o we_o i_o shall_v answer_v it_o in_o several_a particular_n first_o that_o faith_n motion_n of_o the_o spirit_n well_o if_o you_o have_v a_o right_a faith_n it_o follow_v conviction_n of_o unbelief_n second_o if_o you_o will_v know_v whether_o your_o faith_n be_v right_a or_o no_o in_o the_o son_n of_o god_n then_o answer_v how_o you_o come_v by_o your_o faith_n how_o come_v you_o by_o your_o faith_n be_v it_o from_o yourselves_o wrought_v by_o your_o own_o fancy_n from_o conclude_v first_o for_o motive_n know_v you_o can_v never_o true_o love_n god_n till_o your_o sin_n be_v forgive_v you_o you_o will_v think_v god_n be_v not_o your_o god_n till_o your_o sin_n be_v love_n god_n with_o strength_n if_o therefore_o you_o will_v love_v god_n with_o truth_n and_o strength_n believe_v in_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n that_o you_o may_v know_v your_o sin_n be_v command_v we_o to_o believe_v in_o he_o that_o we_o may_v have_v this_o eternal_a life_n now_o what_o a_o dishonour_n be_v this_o to_o the_o god_n of_o truth_n to_o make_v he_o a_o liar_n but_o now_o to_o believe_v in_o his_o son_n do_v exalt_v the_o free_a grace_n of_o god_n god_n have_v make_v all_o the_o promise_n to_o jesus_n christ_n and_o in_o christ_n they_o be_v all_o yea_o and_o amen_n and_o mark_v it_o all_z the_o promise_n of_o god_n in_o he_o be_v yea_o and_o and_o in_o he_o amen_o unto_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n by_o we_o 2_o cor._n 1.20_o when_o we_o believe_v in_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n in_o who_o they_o be_v all_o concentred_a in_o who_o they_o be_v all_o yea_o and_o amen_n but_o if_o you_o do_v not_o believe_v in_o the_o son_n of_o god_n they_o be_v not_o all_o to_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n god_n have_v not_o his_o glory_n in_o that_o way_n that_o he_o look_v for_o by_o jesus_n christ_n so_o that_o we_o shall_v believe_v in_o the_o son_n of_o god_n
