the_o strait_a and_o strict_a path_n thereof_o as_o he_o fall_v under_o the_o check_n of_o such_o mate_n he_o put_v a_o weapon_n into_o their_o hand_n not_o only_o for_o offence_n whereby_o they_o wound_v his_o uprightness_n but_o for_o defence_n to_o maintain_v their_o own_o sin_n yea_o do_v he_o not_o put_v a_o dart_n into_o their_o hand_n wherewith_o through_o his_o side_n lie_v open_a for_o neglect_v of_o straight_o guird_v on_o his_o armour_n they_o wound_v the_o whole_a band_n of_o his_o fellow-soldier_n oh_o what_o a_o wound_n be_v this_o to_o his_o soul_n yet_o why_o shall_v he_o sin_n to_o be_v destroy_v still_o a_o law_n in_o the_o member_n still_o sin_n dwell_v in_o they_o why_o then_o shall_v some_o one_o actual_a error_n in_o such_o person_n be_v make_v such_o a_o monster_n or_o un-heard-of_a wonder_n as_o to_o bring_v a_o scandal_n upon_o the_o whole_a profession_n yea_o or_o upon_o the_o person_n himself_o offend_v so_o far_o forth_o as_o to_o account_v he_o as_o a_o reprobate_n as_o though_o sanctification_n consist_v in_o a_o utter_a abolition_n of_o sin_n branch_n and_o root_n and_o not_o rather_o for_o the_o present_a condition_n of_o this_o life_n in_o the_o destruction_n of_o the_o tyrannical_a dominion_n of_o sin_n and_o a_o daily_a conflict_n with_o the_o relic_n of_o it_o for_o although_o all_o the_o true_o regenerate_a be_v saint_n translate_v from_o the_o state_n of_o darkness_n to_o light_n yet_o they_o put_v not_o off_o the_o nature_n of_o man_n yea_o of_o weak_a and_o sinful_a man_n while_o they_o carry_v about_o with_o they_o this_o body_n of_o death_n for_o alas_o how_o shall_v the_o old_a bottle_n of_o our_o mortal_a body_n be_v able_a to_o contain_v the_o pure_a new_a wine_n of_o perfect_a holiness_n perfect_a i_o mean_v in_o the_o degree_n and_o not_o burst_v and_o the_o wine_n run_v out_o how_o many_o possess_v but_o with_o a_o conceit_n and_o opinion_n of_o perfection_n
