none_o much_o less_o to_o be_v fierce_a and_o churlish_a and_o boisterous_a to_o they_o that_o be_v good_a but_o if_o they_o be_v yoke_v with_o those_o of_o the_o other_o sort_n their_o misery_n be_v a_o good_a motive_n to_o send_v they_o to_o god_n to_o seek_v his_o help_n and_o more_o to_o labour_v to_o please_v he_o themselves_o that_o he_o may_v make_v their_o wife_n to_o be_v better_o unto_o they_o for_o if_o it_o be_v in_o his_o hand_n before_o marriage_n to_o make_v they_o godly_a and_o to_o prepare_v they_o for_o his_o servant_n it_o be_v as_o much_o also_o in_o his_o power_n to_o convert_v they_o afterward_o which_o if_o he_o do_v not_o yet_o they_o shall_v have_v more_o strength_n to_o bear_v the_o burden_n with_o great_a ease_n reproof_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o folly_n that_o like_o nothing_o less_o nor_o labour_n against_o any_o thing_n so_o much_o as_o to_o have_v their_o wife_n to_o be_v religious_a and_o godly_a they_o more_o hate_v piety_n and_o grace_n than_o they_o love_v beauty_n and_o wealth_n and_o will_v soon_o choose_v one_o of_o no_o substance_n then_o of_o great_a goodness_n but_o indeed_o they_o be_v not_o drive_v to_o that_o extremity_n it_o be_v no_o difficult_a matter_n to_o many_o that_o have_v great_a riches_n to_o be_v of_o little_a sanctification_n and_o therefore_o they_o have_v their_o desire_n double_v satisfy_v in_o get_v wealth_n &_o wickedness_n together_o how_o many_o do_v we_o daily_o see_v that_o withhold_v their_o wife_n from_o all_o good_a mean_n of_o godliness_n that_o dissuade_v they_o discourage_v they_o and_o sometime_o by_o strong_a hand_n restrain_v they_o from_o come_v to_o the_o preach_n of_o god_n holy_a word_n whereby_o their_o soul_n may_v be_v instruct_v how_o many_o teach_v their_o wife_n pride_n and_o strain_v themselves_o beyond_o their_o ability_n to_o maintain_v they_o in_o garishnes_n how_o many_o do_v bring_v their_o wife_n into_o such_o company_n and_o to_o such_o exercise_n as_o infect_v their_o eye_n and_o ear_n and_o tongue_n and_o heart_n and_o every_o sense_n with_o lust_n and_o wantonness_n be_v it_o not_o righteous_a from_o god_n that_o these_o husband_n shall_v be_v plague_v with_o the_o lavishnes_n and_o stubbernesse_n and_o whorishnesse_n of_o their_o wife_n which_o have_v so_o poison_v their_o soul_n and_o draw_v they_o to_o such_o lewd_a and_o sinful_a behaviour_n verse_n 5._o the_o thought_n of_o the_o just_a be_v right_a but_o the_o counsel_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v deceit_n godly_a man_n be_v not_o altogether_o void_a of_o thought_n that_o be_v not_o right_a and_o allowable_a sometime_o satan_n cast_v in_o matter_n to_o turn_v they_o out_o of_o the_o right_a course_n sometime_o their_o own_o flesh_n will_v play_v it_o part_n and_o stir_v up_o desire_n of_o commodity_n and_o praise_n and_o pleasure_n and_o such_o like_a in_o they_o but_o these_o be_v as_o the_o muddines_n that_o may_v be_v for_o a_o time_n in_o a_o good_a fountain_n that_o be_v trouble_v these_o they_o allow_v not_o these_o they_o resist_v and_o judge_v themselves_o for_o and_o therefore_o god_n take_v notice_n only_o of_o those_o that_o be_v good_a tend_v to_o his_o service_n and_o glory_n their_o own_o salvation_n and_o the_o benefit_n of_o their_o brethren_n on_o the_o other_o side_n the_o counsel_n of_o the_o wicked_a that_o be_v their_o devise_n plot_n and_o purpose_n in_o themselves_o for_o they_o be_v here_o rather_o the_o work_n of_o the_o mind_n then_o of_o the_o tongue_n and_o oppose_v to_o the_o thought_n of_o the_o godly_a be_v deceit_n tend_v either_o to_o the_o circumvention_n and_o wrong_v of_o other_o or_o to_o the_o cloak_v and_o hide_v of_o their_o own_o sinfulness_n doct._n the_o godly_a differ_v as_o much_o from_o the_o wicked_a in_o inward_a cogitation_n and_o purpose_n as_o in_o outward_a conversation_n and_o practice_n at_o the_o first_o creation_n man_n be_v make_v to_o excel_v the_o bruit_n beast_n more_o by_o the_o reason_n and_o gift_n of_o the_o soul_n then_o by_o the_o fashion_n and_o shape_n of_o the_o body_n and_o at_o the_o second_o a_o christian_n be_v make_v to_o excel_v sinful_a man_n more_o by_o the_o holiness_n and_o work_n of_o the_o soul_n then_o by_o the_o action_n and_o work_n of_o the_o body_n this_o cause_v the_o apostle_n s._n paul_n to_o urge_v the_o ephesian_n with_o so_o earnest_a a_o asseveration_n and_o attestation_n that_o hereby_o they_o shall_v clear_v their_o regeneration_n unfalliblie_o and_o put_v it_o out_o of_o all_o doubt_n and_o question_n this_o i_o say_v and_o
