can_v overcome_v such_o and_o such_o corruption_n but_o take_v heed_n you_o be_v not_o so_o disturb_v in_o your_o heart_n as_o your_o be_v in_o anguish_n under_o that_o bondage_n hinder_v you_o from_o harken_v to_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o word_n and_o conceive_v the_o mind_n and_o will_n of_o god_n a_o right_n and_o know_v how_o to_o order_v yourselves_o in_o a_o right_a way_n it_o be_v so_o with_o they_o and_o true_o this_o be_v just_a the_o case_n of_o many_o people_n because_o they_o be_v sensible_a of_o the_o bondage_n they_o be_v in_o under_o their_o corruption_n they_o be_v so_o trouble_v and_o their_o heart_n be_v in_o such_o a_o toil_n and_o tumult_n that_o they_o can_v hearken_v to_o any_o thing_n that_o shall_v guide_v themselves_o in_o this_o work_n 13._o another_o rule_n for_o the_o order_n of_o your_o faith_n to_o help_v you_o through_o difficult_a work_n be_v to_o observe_v the_o dependence_n that_o one_o work_n have_v upon_o another_o many_o see_v a_o work_n god_n will_v have_v they_o to_o do_v and_o they_o present_o set_v upon_o that_o and_o do_v not_o observe_v what_o dependence_n this_o have_v upon_o somewhat_o else_o and_o so_o miscarry_v suppose_v a_o mariner_n or_o some_o other_o shall_v have_v a_o work_n to_o go_v and_o pull_v such_o a_o cable_n such_o a_o rope_n he_o go_v to_o the_o place_n that_o be_v in_o view_n to_o pull_v that_o rope_n but_o may_v be_v there_o be_v some_o other_o line_n that_o hold_v it_o in_o some_o other_o place_n and_o they_o may_v pull_v their_o heart_n out_o and_o never_o pull_v the_o thing_n they_o will_v so_o many_o be_v strive_v and_o labour_v and_o tug_v in_o many_o duty_n but_o there_o be_v some_o secret_a holdfast_n that_o they_o observe_v not_o that_o those_o duty_n have_v dependence_n upon_o and_o they_o can_v never_o bring_v their_o work_n to_o pass_v as_o one_o complain_v of_o the_o difficulty_n of_o get_v a_o heart_n to_o go_v to_o god_n in_o prayer_n god_n know_v i_o have_v be_v in_o prayer_n &_o have_v strive_v with_o my_o soul_n with_o all_o my_o might_n as_o in_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n for_o to_o get_v up_o my_o heart_n you_o strive_v and_o tug_v at_o this_o and_o may_v be_v you_o think_v of_o some_o promise_n and_o exercise_v faith_n too_o but_o there_o be_v some_o corruption_n that_o seem_v to_o be_v a_o great_a way_n off_o from_o this_o that_o this_o have_v dependence_n upon_o which_o make_v this_o difficult_a and_o you_o shall_v set_v your_o faith_n on_o work_n to_o deliver_v yourselves_o from_o that_o and_o then_o it_o will_v come_v off_o better_o as_o now_o may_n be_v you_o have_v be_v strive_v to_o get_v your_o heart_n up_o to_o god_n in_o prayer_n and_o if_o you_o look_v well_o to_o it_o it_o may_v be_v the_o frowardness_n and_o petrishness_n and_o passion_n of_o your_o heart_n in_o your_o family_n with_o servant_n or_o wife_n or_o husband_n be_v that_o which_o keep_v down_o your_o heart_n when_o you_o come_v into_o god_n presence_n you_o shall_v first_o have_v set_v your_o faith_n on_o work_n to_o have_v cure_v that_o and_o if_o you_o have_v cure_v that_o you_o may_v have_v get_v up_o your_o heart_n many_o slip_n over_o many_o corruption_n and_o look_v at_o duty_n a_o great_a way_n off_o and_o they_o strive_v and_o take_v pain_n but_o if_o they_o have_v true_a christian_a wisdom_n they_o shall_v look_v what_o difficulty_n and_o hindrance_n lie_v between_o they_o and_o that_o duty_n and_o they_o shall_v labour_v to_o take_v away_o that_o and_o so_o for_o faith_n we_o can_v believe_v in_o god_n and_o in_o the_o promise_n may_v be_v there_o lay_v a_o sluggish_a heart_n in_o your_o particular_a call_n it_o may_v be_v so_o far_o off_o though_o you_o think_v there_o be_v but_o little_a dependence_n of_o faith_n in_o that_o and_o so_o in_o affliction_n you_o will_v fain_o have_v your_o heart_n be_v patient_a may_v be_v there_o lie_v a_o dead_a lumpishness_n of_o heart_n and_o drowsiness_n of_o spirit_n and_o therefore_o look_v narrow_o to_o corruption_n though_o never_o so_o far_o off_o and_o set_v thy_o heart_n in_o general_n against_o all_o one_o as_o well_o as_o another_o 14_o again_o take_v need_n of_o listen_v to_o temptation_n when_o as_o you_o be_v about_o any_o hard_a work_n there_o will_v come_v abundance_n of_o temptation_n what_o you_o go_v through_o this_o work_n those_o that_o have_v be_v strong_a than_o you_o have_v miscarry_v it_o be_v a_o mighty_a hard_a work_n and_o you_o be_v a_o poor_a creature_n if_o it_o be_v the_o work_n of_o the_o lord_n go_v to_o it_o with_o a_o naked_a upright_a heart_n must_v have_v strength_n to_o do_v your_o work_n or_o if_o i_o be_v at_o my_o journey_n end_n i_o can_v go_v you_o must_v go_v to_o be_v at_o your_o journey_n end_n if_o i_o be_v over_o sea_n i_o from_o thy_o want_n of_o strength_n to_o hinder_v faith_n but_o rather_o reason_n from_o thy_o want_n of_o strength_n to_o further_a faith_n 16._o again_o when_o you_o go_v about_o any_o work_n that_o be_v difficult_a take_v heed_n of_o any_o disorderly_a
thing_n that_o god_n heart_n be_v upon_o as_o the_o high_a thing_n that_o he_o will_v do_v be_v upon_o those_o that_o be_v sensible_a of_o their_o spiritual_a bondage_n of_o this_o spiritual_a egypt_n to_o deliver_v they_o and_o though_o thou_o be_v not_o sure_o he_o will_v do_v it_o for_o thou_o yet_o this_o be_v a_o great_a encouragement_n object_n but_o though_o he_o may_v do_v it_o for_o other_o yet_o i_o be_o so_o vile_a that_o though_o i_o have_v see_v my_o sin_n i_o have_v still_o go_v on_o therefore_o he_o will_v not_o do_v it_o for_o i_o answ_n 2._o wherefore_o know_v in_o the_o second_o place_n that_o the_o great_a design_n that_o god_n have_v in_o this_o work_n be_v not_o only_o to_o manifest_v his_o power_n but_o to_o set_v out_o before_o man_n and_o angel_n to_o all_o eternity_n the_o riches_n and_o glory_n of_o his_o free_a grace_n and_o therefore_o those_o objection_n of_o thy_o unworthinss_n may_v be_v take_v away_o for_o thou_o may_v see_v god_n do_v not_o thou_o thou_o think_v these_o be_v great_a difficulty_n how_o be_v it_o possible_a for_o i_o to_o get_v over_o these_o know_v it_o be_v the_o work_n of_o christ_n that_o great_a saviour_n of_o the_o world_n to_o remove_v those_o difficulty_n and_o if_o he_o have_v not_o undertake_v it_o it_o have_v be_v impossible_a for_o any_o soul_n to_o come_v to_o god_n but_o he_o have_v do_v it_o and_o therefore_o thou_o have_v liberty_n to_o come_v to_o god_n if_o thou_o have_v but_o a_o heart_n to_o venture_v upon_o his_o free_a grace_n if_o thou_o say_v how_o can_v i_o know_v that_o christ_n have_v remove_v these_o difficulty_n for_o i_o it_o be_v the_o work_n of_o faith_n that_o give_v thou_o a_o interest_n and_o therefore_o do_v not_o stay_v for_o any_o thing_n else_o if_o thou_o do_v but_o venture_v upon_o faith_n thou_o need_v not_o take_v care_n as_o those_o woman_n do_v who_o shall_v roll_n away_o the_o stone_n who_o shall_v remove_v the_o difficulty_n of_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n who_o shall_v pacify_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n that_o be_v burn_v against_o i_o for_o my_o sin_n if_o thou_o do_v believe_v christ_n have_v do_v it_o four_o christ_n have_v not_o only_o
