your_o four_o chapter_n also_o pag._n 28._o even_o in_o the_o begin_n thereof_o even_o with_o one_o text_n you_o have_v overthrow_v your_o whole_a book_n this_o chapter_n be_v to_o prove_v that_o the_o only_a design_n of_o the_o promise_n and_o threaten_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v to_o promote_v and_o put_v we_o again_o in_o possession_n of_o the_o holiness_n we_o have_v lose_v for_o that_o perfect_a resemblance_n to_o the_o divine_a nature_n answ._n therefore_o not_o in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n itself_o for_o that_o which_o in_o substance_n be_v but_o a_o bare_a resemblance_n though_o it_o be_v a_o most_o perfect_a one_o be_v not_o the_o thing_n itself_o of_o which_o it_o be_v a_o resemblance_n but_o the_o blessedness_n that_o we_o shall_v enjoy_v in_o say_v the_o light_n of_o nature_n teach_v not_o but_o these_o thing_n be_v the_o great_a and_o mighty_a thing_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o those_o about_o which_o it_o chief_o bend_v itself_o touch_v upon_o other_o thing_n still_o as_o those_o that_o be_v knowable_a by_o a_o spirit_n inferior_a to_o this_o of_o the_o gospel_n beside_o as_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o know_v by_o the_o light_n of_o thing_n you_o mention_v pag._n 138_o 140_o 142_o 143._o viz._n 1._o the_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n 2._o the_o doctrine_n of_o reward_n and_o punishment_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v 3._o of_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n upon_o true_a repentance_n etc._n etc._n answ._n all_o these_o thing_n may_v be_v assent_v to_o where_o yet_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v not_o but_o yet_o
