the_o wicked_a man_n in_o what_o be_v good_a but_o have_v also_o the_o advantage_n of_o he_o even_o in_o pleasure_n for_o who_o sake_n alone_o he_o be_v wicked_a for_o as_o much_o as_o one_o disposition_n be_v more_o excellent_a than_o another_o so_o much_o be_v one_o pleasure_n more_o eligible_a than_o another_o since_o then_o a_o life_n order_v according_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o virtue_n and_o adhere_v to_o the_o divine_a likeness_n be_v true_o divine_a but_o that_o which_o be_v spend_v in_o wickedness_n be_v brutish_a and_o without_o god_n it_o be_v plain_a that_o the_o pleasure_n of_o a_o good_a man_n imitate_v that_o divine_a complacency_n which_o wait_v on_o god_n and_o heavenly_a mind_n but_o the_o pleasure_n of_o a_o wicked_a man_n to_o give_v they_o a_o common_a name_n for_o once_o amount_v to_o no_o more_o than_o the_o gratification_n of_o a_o sottish_a appetite_n the_o entertainment_n of_o a_o beast_n pleasure_n and_o sorrow_n be_v put_v in_o our_o reach_n from_o who_o fountain_n whosoever_o draw_v both_o whence_o when_o and_o as_o much_o as_o he_o aught_o be_v a_o happy_a man_n but_o he_o that_o know_v not_o the_o measure_n of_o these_o be_v emphatical_o miserable_a thus_o therefore_o the_o life_n which_o be_v free_v from_o opinion_n be_v only_o void_a of_o sin_n but_o that_o which_o be_v well_o fraught_v with_o science_n be_v happy_a and_o perfect_a the_o most_o pleasant_a and_o best_a life_n let_v we_o never_o therefore_o do_v what_o we_o know_v not_o nor_o what_o we_o know_v when_o we_o ought_v not_o for_o ignorance_n lead_v into_o wickedness_n but_o knowledge_n seek_v out_o a_o convenient_a season_n for_o there_o be_v many_o good_a thing_n which_o by_o change_n of_o time_n become_v evil_a let_v we_o therefore_o mind_n the_o order_n of_o the_o precept_n which_o by_o restrain_v we_o from_o action_n keep_v we_o sinless_a and_o by_o exhort_v we_o to_o learn_v not_o all_o thing_n promiscuous_o but_o only_a what_o be_v fit_a lead_v we_o to_o the_o most_o excellent_a action_n for_o goodness_n of_o action_n do_v not_o consist_v bare_o in_o not_o sin_v but_o in_o know_v what_o be_v fit_a the_o former_a be_v effect_v by_o the_o purgation_n of_o opinion_n the_o latter_a by_o the_o presence_n of_o knowledge_n but_o if_o not_o sin_v be_v account_v well_o do_v see_v what_o will_v accrue_v to_o you_o so_o shall_v you_o live_v the_o most_o pleasant_a life_n but_o what_o be_v that_o which_o derive_v its_o pleasure_n from_o virtue_n in_o which_o both_o honesty_n and_o pleasure_n concur_v if_o therefore_o what_o be_v good_a and_o what_o be_v pleasant_a be_v single_o desirable_a what_o will_v they_o be_v when_o unite_v he_o tell_v you_o the_o most_o pleasant_a life_n for_o he_o that_o choose_v pleasure_n with_o filthiness_n although_o for_o a_o while_o he_o be_v sweet_o entertain_v yet_o at_o last_o through_o the_o filthiness_n annex_v to_o his_o enjoyment_n he_o be_v bring_v to_o a_o painful_a repentance_n but_o he_o that_o prefer_v virtue_n with_o all_o her_o labour_n and_o difficulty_n though_o at_o first_o for_o want_v of_o use_n it_o sit_v heavy_a upon_o he_o yet_o by_o the_o conjunction_n of_o good_a he_o alleviate_v the_o labour_n and_o at_o last_o enjoy_v pure_a and_o unallay_v pleasure_n with_o his_o virtue_n for_o if_o any_o filthy_a thing_n be_v do_v with_o pleasure_n the_o pleasure_n be_v go_v but_o the_o stain_n remain_v so_o that_o of_o necessity_n that_o life_n be_v most_o unhappy_a which_o be_v most_o wicked_a and_o that_o most_o pleasant_a which_o be_v most_o virtuous_a and_o so_o much_o may_v suffice_v for_o this_o but_o since_o the_o discipline_n and_o good_a usage_n of_o the_o body_n
