wherein_o i_o lay_v open_a two_o grievous_a wound_n of_o our_o church_n &_o commonwealth_n two_o reign_a evil_n among_o we_o the_o evil_a of_o ambition_n and_o the_o evil_a of_o pride_n and_o at_o that_o time_n i_o apply_v medicine_n to_o they_o both_o now_o follow_v the_o second_o note_n cast_v down_o not_o other_o but_o yourselves_o which_o devide_v itself_o into_o two_o part_n 1._o cast_v embrace_v it_o not_o other_o for_o you_o may_v not_o deal_v uncharitable_o with_o they_o but_o yourselves_o for_o high_a mind_a man_n be_v to_o high_a to_o enter_v in_o at_o heaven_n straight_a gate_n so_o then_o that_o you_o do_v no_o injury_n to_o any_o but_o deal_v charitable_o with_o all_o out_o of_o the_o first_o part_n you_o may_v learn_v three_o thing_n 1_o not_o to_o disgrace_v your_o neighbour_n 2_o not_o to_o judge_v the_o person_n of_o sinner_n 3_o not_o to_o condemn_v the_o whole_a profession_n because_o all_o live_v not_o in_o the_o same_o perfection_n cast_v down_o not_o other_o as_o for_o the_o second_o part_n it_o have_v relation_n to_o the_o three_o general_a note_n where_o it_o may_v most_o fit_o be_v consider_v for_o you_o must_v cast_v down_o yourselves_o not_o before_o man_n but_o before_o the_o lord_n cast_v down_o not_o other_o the_o first_o thing_n we_o learn_v here_o be_v not_o to_o to_o disgrace_v our_o neighbour_n we_o that_o be_v christian_n and_o journey_v towards_o heaven_n must_v go_v not_o so_o much_o by_o walk_v as_o by_o love_v not_o so_o much_o with_o our_o foot_n as_o with_o our_o affection_n neither_o be_v there_o any_o thing_n which_o make_v a_o good_a or_o a_o bad_a life_n but_o a_o good_a or_o a_o bad_a love_n if_o therefore_o we_o will_v to_o heaven_n by_o the_o right_a way_n we_o must_v be_v rich_a in_o good_a work_n we_o must_v be_v frame_v according_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o gospellike_a perfection_n we_o must_v love_v not_o our_o friend_n only_o in_o god_n but_o our_o foe_n also_o for_o god_n we_o presume_v that_o fire_n be_v then_o hot_a when_o it_o warm_v they_o that_o be_v far_a of_o so_o be_v it_o with_o love_n it_o be_v then_o most_o fervent_a and_o perfect_a when_o it_o forsake_v neither_o friend_n nor_o foe_n be_v they_o never_o so_o far_o of_o be_v thy_o neighbour_n thy_o friend_n civility_n bid_v thou_o love_v he_o be_v he_o thy_o foe_n christianity_n forbid_v thou_o to_o disgrace_v he_o friend_n
