of_o christian_a love_n &_o charity_n in_o his_o breast_n but_o that_o in_o a_o matter_n of_o such_o perel_n as_o this_o be_v wherein_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n stand_v in_o so_o great_a danger_n to_o be_v lose_v he_o must_v needs_o care_v and_o take_v think_v not_o for_o his_o friend_n only_o but_o also_o for_o his_o veâ—y_a foe_n we_o shall_v therefore_o cousin_n not_o rehearse_v your_o harm_n of_o fortune_n which_o serve_v for_o the_o mayntenaunce_n of_o the_o body_n and_o minister_v matter_n of_o pleasure_n to_o the_o soul_n also_o through_o the_o delight_n that_o she_o have_v in_o the_o body_n for_z the_o while_o that_o she_o be_v match_v therewith_o considre_n than_o first_o the_o loss_n of_o those_o outward_a thing_n as_o somewhat_o the_o less_o in_o weight_n than_o be_v the_o body_n itself_o in_o they_o what_o may_v a_o man_n lose_v and_o thereby_o what_o pain_n may_v he_o suffer_v vincent_n he_o may_v lose_v uncle_n of_o which_o i_o shall_v somewhat_o lose_v myself_o money_n plate_n &_o other_o movable_a substance_n than_o office_n authority_n and_o final_o all_o the_o land_n of_o his_o inheritance_n for_o ever_o that_o himself_o &_o his_o heir_n perpetual_o may_v that_o you_o move_v it_o i_o here_o yourself_o a_o man_n may_v many_o time_n well_o and_o without_o sin_n desire_n of_o god_n the_o tribulation_n to_o be_v take_v from_o he_o but_o neither_o may_v we_o desire_n that_o in_o every_o case_n nor_o yet_o very_a well_o in_o no_o case_n except_o very_o few_o but_o under_o a_o certain_a condition_n either_o express_v or_o imply_v for_o tribulation_n be_v you_o wot_v well_o of_o many_o sundry_a kind_n some_o by_o loss_n of_o good_n or_o possession_n some_o by_o yâ—_z sickness_n of_o ourself_o &_o some_o by_o the_o loss_n of_o friend_n or_o by_o some_o oâ—her_a pain_n put_v unto_o our_o body_n some_o by_o the_o dread_n of_o the_o lose_v those_o thing_n that_o we_o fain_o will_v save_v under_o which_o fear_n fall_v all_o the_o same_o thing_n that_o we_o have_v speak_v before_o for_o we_o may_v fear_v loss_n of_o good_n or_o possession_n or_o the_o loss_n of_o our_o friend_n their_o grief_n &_o trouble_n or_o our_o own_o by_o sickness_n imprisonment_n or_o other_o bodily_a pain_n we_o may_v be_v trouble_v with_o the_o drede_fw-la of_o death_n and_o many_o a_o good_a man_n be_v trouble_v most_o of_o all_o with_o the_o fear_n of_o that_o thing_n which_o he_o that_o most_o need_n have_v fear_v least_o of_o all_o that_o be_v to_o wit_n the_o fear_n of_o losinge_v through_o deadly_a sin_n the_o life_n of_o his_o seli_a soul_n and_o this_o last_o kind_n of_o tribulation_n as_o the_o sore_a tribulation_n of_o all_o though_o we_o touch_v here_o &_o there_o some_o piece_n thereof_o before_o yet_o the_o chief_a part_n &_o the_o principal_a point_n will_v i_o reserve_v to_o treat_v apart_o effectual_o that_o matter_n in_o the_o last_o end_n but_o now_o as_o i_o say_v where_o the_o kind_n of_o tribulation_n be_v so_o diverse_a some_o of_o this_o tribulation_n a_o man_n may_v pray_v god_n take_v from_o he_o &_o take_v some_o comfort_n in_o the_o trust_n the_o god_n will_v so_o do_v and_o therefore_o against_o hungre_n sycknes_n &_o bodily_a hurt_n &_o against_o the_o loss_n of_o either_o body_n or_o soul_n man_n may_v lawful_o many_o time_n pray_v to_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n either_o for_o then self_o or_o their_o friend_n and_o towards_o this_o purpose_n be_v express_o pray_v many_o devout_a orison_n in_o the_o come_fw-mi service_n of_o our_o mother_n holy_a church_n and_o towards_o our_o help_n in_o some_o of_o these_o thing_n serve_v some_o of_o the_o petition_n in_o the_o pater_fw-la noster_fw-la wherein_o we_o pray_v daily_o for_o our_o daily_o food_n and_o to_o be_v preserve_v from_o the_o fall_n in_o temptation_n and_o to_o be_v deliver_v from_o evyll_n but_o yet_o may_v we_o not_o always_o pray_v for_o the_o take_v away_o from_o we_o of_o every_o kind_n of_o temptation_n for_o if_o a_o man_n shall_v in_o every_o sycknes_n pray_v for_o his_o health_n again_o when_o shall_v he_o show_v himself_o content_a to_o die_v and_o to_o depart_v unto_o god_n and_o that_o mind_n must_v a_o man_n have_v you_o wot_v well_o or_o else_o it_o will_v not_o be_v well_o one_o tribulation_n be_v it_o to_o good_a man_n to_o feel_v in_o then selfe_o the_o conflict_n of_o the_o flesh_n against_o the_o soul_n the_o rebellion_n of_o sensuality_n against_o the_o rule_n and_o governance_n of_o reason_n the_o relic_n that_o remain_v in_o mankind_n of_o old_a
