power_n to_o propagate_v a_o doctrine_n so_o infinite_o repugnant_a to_o his_o will_n and_o nature_n see_v it_o be_v equal_o incredible_a either_o that_o a_o bad_a religion_n shall_v be_v the_o will_n of_o a_o good_a god_n or_o that_o the_o god_n of_o truth_n shall_v bear_v false_a witness_n to_o a_o lie_n and_o therefore_o we_o always_o find_v that_o those_o false_a miracle_n effect_v by_o evil_a spirit_n whereof_o the_o scripture_n and_o history_n make_v mention_n be_v always_o wrought_v to_o deprave_v man_n mind_n with_o vicious_a principle_n and_o to_o seduce_v man_n from_o god_n to_o superstition_n and_o idolatry_n or_o to_o confirm_v they_o in_o it_o but_o that_o a_o impious_a spirit_n shall_v ever_o work_v miracle_n to_o promote_v true_a piety_n to_o inspire_v man_n mind_n with_o great_a and_o worthy_a thought_n of_o god_n and_o suitable_a affection_n towards_o he_o that_o a_o malicious_a proud_a unjust_a and_o revengeful_a spirit_n shall_v by_o miraculous_a sign_n endeavour_v to_o reduce_v the_o world_n to_o the_o practice_n of_o charity_n humility_n justice_n patience_n meekness_n and_o equanimity_n be_v infinite_o incredible_a and_o therefore_o since_o the_o piety_n and_o virtue_n because_o hereby_o he_o deceive_v himself_o and_o betray_v his_o own_o interest_n in_o the_o world._n the_o miracle_n of_o our_o saviour_n therefore_o be_v all_o design_a to_o attest_v a_o most_o pure_a and_o heavenly_a doctrine_n a_o doctrine_n that_o be_v throughout_o exact_o conformable_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o god_n and_o infinite_o abhorrent_n to_o the_o genius_n of_o devil_n must_v necessary_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o a_o divine_a power_n because_o to_o work_v miracle_n for_o the_o attestation_n of_o such_o a_o doctrine_n can_v be_v neither_o agreeable_a to_o any_o other_o nature_n nor_o serviceable_a to_o any_o other_o interest_n but_o gods._n now_o of_o all_o the_o miraculous_a testimony_n which_o god_n give_v to_o our_o saviour_n there_o be_v none_o
