church_n as_o one_o chief_a principle_n of_o the_o religion_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o common_a belief_n of_o his_o faithful_a people_n this_o knowledge_n and_o persuasion_n of_o faith_n may_v well_o arise_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o faithful_a at_o this_o time_n which_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o from_o that_o light_n which_o our_o saviour_n give_v both_o by_o his_o doctrine_n &_o our_o lord_n answer_v seeing_n he_o have_v the_o only_a sovereign_a right_n and_o lordship_n over_o we_o we_o have_v this_o comfort_n to_o our_o conscience_n that_o we_o be_v spiritual_o free_a from_o the_o bondage_n of_o all_o other_o whether_o profane_a tyrant_n or_o superstitious_a and_o proud_a popish_a prelate_n in_o that_o they_o have_v no_o lawful_a power_n and_o authority_n grant_v they_o of_o god_n to_o command_v and_o bind_v our_o conscience_n to_o any_o thing_n contrary_a to_o his_o law_n and_o to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ._n this_o in_o benefit_n which_o we_o do_v enjoy_v from_o the_o suffering_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n according_a to_o his_o own_o most_o sweet_a and_o consolatory_a speech_n which_o he_o use_v to_o his_o of_o god_n on_o our_o behalf_n which_o otherwise_o they_o can_v not_o have_v be_v yea_o not_o only_o the_o consideration_n of_o this_o one_o virtue_n but_o also_o of_o all_o the_o excellent_a virtue_n of_o our_o saviour_n shine_v forth_o most_o bright_o throughout_o the_o same_o his_o suffering_n as_o we_o have_v likewise_o see_v they_o may_v just_o be_v so_o many_o comforter_n to_o cheer_v up_o our_o heart_n as_o it_o be_v by_o the_o light_n and_o warmth_n of_o the_o sun_n in_o the_o whole_a race_n which_o it_o run_v from_o morning_n to_o noon_n &_o from_o noon_n to_o night_n even_o so_o often_o as_o we_o shall_v renew_v and_o settle_v the_o thought_n of_o our_o mind_n thereon_o doubtless_o through_o the_o blessing_n of_o god_n they_o will_v be_v as_o the_o renew_n of_o the_o day_n upon_o we_o by_o the_o new_a arise_v of_o the_o sun_n of_o righteousness_n to_o bring_v the_o health_n of_o his_o sunbeam_n upon_o our_o soul_n and_o conscience_n the_o answer_n which_o god_n the_o do_v of_o his_o own_o accord_n yield_v himself_o and_o therewithal_o by_o his_o divine_a authority_n set_v his_o weak_a disciple_n at_o liberty_n at_o the_o same_o time_n until_o they_o shall_v be_v make_v more_o fit_a to_o endure_v such_o trial_n as_o they_o be_v for_o their_o part_n in_o some_o respect_n to_o be_v exercise_v with_o though_o our_o saviour_n only_o and_o alone_o suffer_v for_o our_o redemption_n and_o salvation_n it_o be_v comfortable_a to_o consider_v that_o at_o the_o examination_n of_o our_o saviour_n before_o the_o high_a priest_n the_o witness_n which_o come_v forth_o
