by_o which_o they_o will_v justify_v their_o estate_n some_o excuse_n of_o particular_a action_n and_o that_o either_o in_o whole_a or_o in_o part_n some_o by_o which_o they_o will_v put_v by_o the_o penalty_n though_o they_o confess_v the_o sin_n some_o by_o which_o they_o lie_v the_o blame_n on_o other_o man_n and_o in_o some_o they_o will_v cast_v it_o upon_o god_n himself_o i_o must_v touch_v but_o some_o of_o they_o very_o brief_o the_o first_o excuse_n i_o be_o not_o guilty_a of_o these_o thing_n which_o i_o be_o accuse_v of_o i_o do_v love_n god_n above_o all_o and_o my_o neighbour_n as_o myself_o i_o do_v use_v the_o world_n but_o for_o necessity_n but_o god_n have_v my_o heart_n answ._n the_o all-seeing_a judge_n do_v know_v the_o contrary_a and_o he_o will_v make_v thy_o be_v justify_v and_o as_o our_o evangelical_a personal_a righteousness_n common_o call_v inherent_a be_v at_o first_o only_o in_o our_o faith_n and_o repentance_n and_o disposition_n to_o obey_v but_o as_o the_o life_n of_o the_o tree_n be_v in_o the_o fruit_n but_o faith_n do_v contain_v our_o work_n of_o obedience_n but_o only_o as_o their_o cause_n these_o work_n also_o be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o personal_a righteousness_n which_o be_v to_o be_v inquire_v after_o that_o be_v we_o shall_v not_o be_v judge_v righteous_a mere_o because_o we_o have_v believe_v but_o also_o because_o we_o have_v add_v to_o our_o faith_n virtue_n and_o have_v improve_v our_o talent_n and_o have_v love_v christ_n to_o the_o hazard_n of_o all_o or_o his_o sake_n for_o it_o be_v not_o only_o or_o principal_o for_o the_o goodness_n of_o the_o work_n consider_v in_o itself_o or_o the_o good_a that_o be_v do_v by_o it_o to_o the_o poor_a but_o it_o be_v as_o these_o work_n do_v express_v our_o reason_n why_o christ_n will_v so_o public_o declare_v the_o personal_a righteousness_n of_o man_n to_o be_v the_o reason_n or_o cause_n of_o his_o justify_v sentence_n it_o be_v because_o it_o be_v the_o business_n of_o that_o day_n not_o only_o to_o glorify_v god_n mere_a love_n and_o mercy_n but_o eminent_o to_o glorify_v his_o remunerative_a justice_n and_o not_o only_o to_o express_v his_o love_n to_o the_o elect_a as_o such_o but_o to_o express_v his_o love_n to_o they_o as_o faithful_a and_o obedient_a and_o such_o as_o have_v deny_v all_o for_o christ_n and_o love_v god_n above_o all_o and_o to_o show_v his_o justice_n to_o the_o man_n and_o faithfulness_n in_o fulfil_v all_o his_o promise_n and_o also_o his_o holinss_n in_o the_o high_a estimation_n of_o the_o holiness_n of_o his_o people_n i_o shall_v express_v this_o in_o the_o word_n of_o a_o learned_a divine_a dr_n twiss_n against_o mr._n cotton_n pag._n 40._o be_v there_o no_o more_o in_o god_n intention_n when_o he_o you_o not_o i_o think_v a_o man_n that_o know_v he_o shall_v be_v judge_v shall_v ask_v himself_o the_o question_n every_o day_n of_o his_o life_n be_o i_o ready_a to_o give_v up_o my_o account_n to_o god_n do_v not_o you_o use_v to_o ask_v this_o of_o your_o own_o heart_n unless_o you_o be_v careless_a whether_o you_o be_v save_v or_o damn_v methinks_v you_o shall_v and_o ask_v it_o serious_o qu._n but_o who_o be_v they_o that_o be_v ready_a how_o shall_v i_o know_v whether_o i_o be_v ready_a or_o not_o answ._n there_o be_v a_o twofold_a readiness_n 1._o when_o you_o be_v in_o a_o safe_a
