always_o be_v occupy_v in_o the_o meditation_n of_o those_o joy_n which_o be_v prepare_v to_o be_v show_v in_o the_o last_o time_n for_o thus_o though_o we_o be_v absent_a in_o body_n from_o the_o lord_n yet_o even_o while_o we_o be_v in_o the_o body_n we_o be_v and_o dwell_v with_o the_o lord_n and_o unless_o we_o thus_o be_v and_o dwell_v with_o the_o lord_n we_o can_v say_v that_o our_o conversation_n be_v in_o heaven_n no_o more_o than_o we_o can_v say_v that_o our_o heart_n cleave_v steadfast_o unto_o the_o lord_n when_o they_o be_v set_v on_o riches_n and_o on_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n now_o than_o that_o you_o see_v that_o you_o ought_v to_o have_v our_o conversation_n in_o heaven_n and_o likewise_o how_o to_o walk_v to_o have_v your_o conversation_n in_o not_o too_o too_o much_o love_v the_o world_n nor_o the_o thing_n thaâ—_n be_v in_o the_o world_n if_o thou_o have_v manful_o resist_v the_o tentationâ—_n of_o this_o life_n and_o overcome_v they_o if_o in_o holy_a obedience_n thoâ—_n have_v conform_v thy_o life_n unto_o the_o will_n of_o thy_o god_n if_o be_v absent_a in_o body_n from_o the_o lord_n thy_o soul_n &_o thy_o affection_n have_v be_v set_v on_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v above_o where_o true_a joy_n alone_o be_v to_o be_v find_v what_o a_o comfort_n may_v it_o be_v unto_o thy_o soul_n to_o have_v such_o a_o testimony_n that_o thy_o life_n and_o conversation_n have_v be_v in_o heaven_n o_o but_o here_o will_v the_o good_a soul_n say_v i_o mean_v the_o trouble_a and_o afflict_a soul_n true_a indeed_o i_o may_v be_v comfort_v if_o i_o find_v it_o thus_o with_o i_o but_o thus_o it_o be_v with_o i_o though_o i_o have_v not_o whole_o mind_v earthly_a thing_n yet_o have_v i_o mind_v they_o more_o than_o i_o shall_v though_o i_o have_v withstand_v such_o tentation_n as_o have_v assault_v i_o yet_o in_o great_a weakness_n though_o i_o have_v delight_v in_o the_o law_n
of_o the_o lord_n yet_o have_v i_o often_o turn_v out_o of_o the_o way_n of_o his_o commandment_n though_o i_o have_v affect_v the_o thing_n which_o be_v above_o yet_o have_v my_o affection_n be_v too_o much_o divide_v between_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v above_o and_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v on_o earth_n well_o let_v not_o thy_o soul_n be_v trouble_v nor_o fear_v do_v thou_o see_v and_o know_v and_o acknowledge_v thus_o much_o david_n say_v that_o he_o confess_v his_o sin_n unto_o the_o lord_n 32.5_o psal_n 32.5_o and_o so_o he_o forgive_v the_o punishment_n of_o his_o sin_n fear_v give_v a_o better_a testimony_n of_o my_o love_n towards_o you_o then_o if_o with_o the_o apostle_n i_o say_v unto_o you_o grace_n be_v with_o you_o and_o peace_n from_o god_n our_o father_n etc._n etc._n can_v i_o pray_v better_o for_o you_o then_o when_o i_o pray_v that_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n may_v abound_v towards_o you_o that_o the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n jesus_n may_v be_v the_o lord_n and_o his_o strength_n and_o do_v first_o honour_v he_o that_o so_o he_o may_v honour_v they_o before_o all_o people_n nay_o every_o plot_n be_v soon_o and_o often_o cast_v then_o this_o and_o this_o come_v seldom_o or_o never_o within_o their_o thought_n or_o if_o it_o do_v yet_o this_o be_v too_o slow_a a_o course_n for_o they_o god_n must_v give_v they_o leave_v to_o climb_v up_o covetous_a that_o they_o seek_v by_o all_o mean_n to_o be_v rich_a and_o to_o be_v lord_n if_o it_o be_v possible_a of_o the_o whole_a earth_n and_o yet_o how_o many_o of_o they_o remember_v that_o the_o lord_n make_v poor_a and_o make_v rich_a do_v first_o seek_v the_o lord_n so_o to_o become_v rich_a by_o he_o nay_o if_o fraud_n oppression_n usury_n or_o the_o like_a will_v make_v they_o rich_a they_o will_v not_o wait_v upon_o the_o lord_n but_o thus_o they_o will_v become_v rich_a yea_o but_o these_o and_o such_o like_a as_o seek_v and_o delight_v only_o in_o pleasure_n and_o idleness_n and_o riches_n and_o honour_n and_o the_o like_a they_o seek_v these_o thing_n altogether_o they_o seek_v not_o the_o lord_n at_o all_o neither_o be_v god_n in_o all_o their_o thought_n you_o shall_v find_v yourselves_o in_o the_o examination_n of_o these_o thing_n guilty_a or_o guiltless_a this_o you_o must_v know_v that_o christian_a duty_n require_v this_o of_o we_o that_o first_o meaning_n in_o these_o word_n the_o note_n hence_o to_o be_v observe_v i_o will_v rather_o point_v at_o then_o much_o stand_v upon_o especial_o in_o this_o place_n and_o auditory_a 1._o hence_o i_o note_v that_o timothy_n who_o the_o apostle_n send_v unto_o the_o philippian_n be_v a_o man_n of_o who_o they_o have_v have_v proof_n and_o experience_n before_o and_o who_o faithfulness_n in_o the_o work_n of_o his_o ministry_n be_v so_o well_o know_v unto_o they_o that_o they_o can_v not_o doubt_v thereof_o and_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o the_o apostle_n think_v it_o not_o needful_a to_o labour_n much_o in_o the_o clear_n of_o timothy_n from_o such_o fault_n as_o have_v infect_v the_o rest_n or_o in_o the_o enlarge_n of_o his_o commendation_n they_o know_v that_o as_o a_o son_n with_o the_o father_n so_o he_o have_v labour_v with_o the_o apostle_n in_o preach_v the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n jesus_n a_o thing_n whereunto_o even_o all_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n jesus_n ought_v most_o earnest_o to_o strive_v by_o their_o faithful_a and_o careful_a walk_v in_o the_o work_n of_o their_o calling_n to_o approve_v themselves_o not_o only_o before_o the_o lord_n but_o also_o before_o man_n to_o be_v the_o faithful_a servant_n of_o christ_n jesus_n yea_o but_o here_o be_v all_o the_o skill_n to_o do_v so_o or_o rather_o it_o seem_v a_o thing_n impossible_a to_o approve_v ourselves_o both_o before_o the_o lord_n and_o also_o before_o man_n for_o if_o we_o yet_o shall_v please_v man_n we_o be_v not_o the_o servant_n of_o christ_n and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n in_o regard_n whereof_o be_v far_o more_o accept_v with_o god_n then_o be_v the_o observation_n of_o the_o ceremony_n itself_o the_o moral_a use_n and_o signification_n thereof_o be_v to_o put_v they_o in_o mind_n of_o the_o circumcision_n of_o the_o heart_n that_o thence_o they_o may_v purge_v all_o wicked_a and_o carnal_a affection_n such_o as_o any_o way_n be_v like_a to_o cross_v and_o hinder_v their_o spiritual_a service_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n and_o as_o in_o other_o ceremony_n when_o the_o ceremony_n be_v abolish_v yet_o the_o moral_a use_n thereof_o still_o remain_v so_o likewise_o in_o this_o when_o the_o outward_a circumcision_n of_o the_o flesh_n be_v abolish_v yet_o the_o inward_a circumcision_n of_o the_o heart_n which_o be_v moral_o signify_v by_o the_o outward_a charitable_a in_o their_o judgement_n towards_o their_o brethren_n speak_v good_a of_o that_o which_o plain_o be_v evil_a and_o interpret_v that_o unto_o the_o best_a which_o in_o plain_a evidence_n be_v sinful_a and_o wicked_a what_o must_v charity_n be_v a_o fool_n as_o she_o be_v not_o suspicious_a so_o she_o be_v not_o foolish_a as_o she_o will_v not_o easy_o think_v the_o worst_a so_o she_o will_v not_o suffer_v herself_o to_o be_v abuse_v for_o if_o when_o a_o man_n shall_v be_v present_a at_o the_o sermon_n he_o be_v ordinary_o bowl_v or_o card_v or_o drink_v must_v i_o in_o charity_n think_v that_o he_o have_v necessary_a occasion_n of_o absence_n or_o when_o a_o man_n willing_o and_o witting_o run_v himself_o upon_o the_o rock_n by_o break_v the_o wholesome_a law_n of_o god_n or_o of_o man_n be_o i_o uncharitable_a if_o i_o interpret_v not_o his_o action_n unto_o the_o best_a nay_o rather_o he_o misdeem_v of_o charity_n that_o so_o think_v and_o this_o will_v common_o if_o
