the_o soul_n and_o to_o glue_v and_o fasten_v she_o to_o object_n of_o vanity_n yea_o of_o death_n and_o misery_n again_o the_o soul_n in_o her_o substance_n be_v a_o spirit_n and_o what_o kind_o or_o natural_a pleasure_n or_o profit_n can_v a_o spiritual_a essence_n receive_v from_o gross_a and_o fleshly_a lust_n the_o soul_n have_v no_o savour_n in_o the_o rank_n and_o gross_a pleasure_n of_o the_o flesh_n but_o they_o be_v to_o she_o as_o the_o onion_n and_o garlic_n of_o egypt_n to_o a_o dainty_a &_o delicate_a taste_n sure_o so_o well_o may_v the_o earth_n lighten_v the_o sun_n and_o a_o tempest_n give_v rest_n to_o the_o sea_n as_o lust_n can_v give_v light_n or_o life_n or_o rest_n or_o happiness_n to_o the_o soul_n but_o darkness_n and_o death_n and_o misery_n it_o can_v and_o do_v give_v and_o so_o under_o the_o shape_n of_o a_o husband_n it_o be_v a_o cruel_a enemy_n and_o a_o very_a murderer_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o sure_o he_o can_v be_v no_o other_o but_o a_o mortal_a enemy_n of_o the_o soul_n that_o make_v such_o a_o marriage_n between_o the_o soul_n and_o her_o mortal_a enemy_n and_o he_o have_v need_v to_o be_v as_o cunning_a as_o malicious_a to_o put_v a_o show_n of_o reason_n upon_o a_o match_n so_o absurd_a and_o unreasonable_a and_o if_o in_o a_o second_o place_n we_o behold_v the_o slavery_n of_o the_o soul_n in_o this_o marriage_n with_o lust_n to_o trudge_v up_o and_o down_o in_o business_n of_o darkness_n filthiness_n and_o wretchedness_n the_o soul_n be_v set_v on_o work_n in_o thing_n that_o be_v no_o kin_n to_o she_o no_o good_a to_o she_o yea_o that_o be_v contrary_a to_o she_o be_v and_o well-being_n for_o contrary_a they_o be_v to_o that_o image_n of_o god_n which_o be_v in_o she_o and_o consequent_o contrary_a to_o that_o god_n who_o image_n this_o be_v and_o to_o who_o this_o image_n point_n and_o lead_v she_o as_o to_o her_o sovereign_a good_a and_o thus_o have_v we_o a_o three_o mischief_n of_o this_o marriage_n even_o misery_n annex_v to_o slavery_n for_o as_o the_o image_n of_o god_n in_o the_o soul_n turn_v the_o eye_n and_o heart_n of_o the_o soul_n to_o look_v unto_o god_n her_o chief_a happiness_n so_o lust_n turn_v about_o the_o eye_n and_o heart_n of_o the_o soul_n from_o her_o happiness_n and_o what_o can_v her_o prospect_n and_o object_n be_v then_o but_o misery_n and_o if_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o soul_n happen_v to_o cast_v up_o some_o glance_n to_o heaven_n and_o happiness_n yet_o the_o heart_n even_o the_o will_n and_o affection_n be_v hurry_v away_o by_o this_o lust_n to_o object_n and_o work_n of_o vanity_n and_o misery_n so_o that_o the_o soul_n can_v only_o say_v i_o see_v the_o better_a thing_n and_o follow_v the_o worse_o i_o see_v happiness_n and_o run_v after_o misery_n thus_o by_o slavery_n she_o buy_v misery_n and_o slavery_n itself_o be_v misery_n by_o misery_n she_o earn_v misery_n and_o indeed_o be_v it_o not_o the_o true_a misery_n of_o a_o egyptian_a bondage_n that_o the_o soul_n shall_v be_v still_o set_v on_o work_n by_o lust_n in_o a_o fiery_a furnace_n yea_o be_v beat_v and_o torment_v when_o she_o do_v not_o work_n though_o her_o work_n concern_v herself_o nothing_o but_o only_o to_o strengthen_v she_o own_o bondage_n and_o to_o increase_v she_o own_o misery_n and_o indeed_o therefore_o be_v she_o keep_v so_o hard_o at_o this_o work_n that_o taske-master_n strike_v in_o deep_a lash_n into_o her_o side_n and_o tell_v she_o she_o be_v idle_a though_o she_o think_v on_o her_o near_a business_n and_o dear_a happiness_n if_o it_o be_v in_o
